Trek to Naneghat || Ancient Trade Route||

Naneghat is ancient trade route which connects the Deccan Plateau to Kokan
region. Travellers used to this route to reach Sopra Bandar which is known as Nallasopra from Kalyan harbour to travel by sea. Base village of Nanaghat is vaishakare, which is60Kms from Kalyan and 135kms from Pune. It is easy to moderate grade trek with moderate endurance level. Total distance from st art point to top is 6 Kms. while the last I. 5 kms patch is steep inclined but safe and easy. This trek can
be completed easily and slowly Withen 5 to 7 hours. It is necessary to hire guide from base village, who charge you 500 to 700 Rs depending on places you visit above closeto Naneghat their is Jeevdhanfort and reverse water fall. Please carry 2 litres water as their is no Shops enroute.
