Hitbox PVP He said in the comments that music was on and he couldn't He normally listens to music while playing, he said that in a video. That's the reason he usually makes replays, and doesn't RECORD his gameplay using Fraps or anything.
Yeah His Prediction Is really...Serious XD Best Spy ever I seen 1.Slurgi 2.Carlotso (Ambassador spy)3.Doslle 4.MrPaladin 5.Zeigon (Ambassador and Trickstab) 6.Delfy(Stairstab And Griefing)
Slurgi, what impresses me most about your spy play isn't your ability to get trickstabs- that's reasonably common. What I find impressive is your ability to recover when you miss a stab- you can almost always step back and turn it into a successful backstab, and that's amazing.
Yep. I've seen a lot of spies try to trictstab or stairstab me. I, being used to how trcikstabs are done due to Slurgi, successfully dodge them, and guess what, they just try to run, hide or become invisible, in which time I kill them. Only like 10% knew they still have a revolver and their NORMAL stabs can do like 30-40 dmg and tried to kill me.
Three questions, oh great Slurgi. 1. How much do you find unbalanced teams to affect your opportunities as spy? These days, with the growing frequency of getting stuck on a team that has no clue what it's doing, I've found that lack of an offensive threat to make being effective infinitely harder. All the enemies can afford to spycheck constantly, and not all blindly rush at you with a melee weapon. 2. After mastering the extremely-unique nature of the Spy, do you find yourself having any interest in Overwatch, where there's no class similar (yet announced)? Coming from a Demo/Solly main, many classes seen a fairly lateral move for me. Would you enjoy the game without trickstab potential? 3. What do you see as the future of TF2? Is it still as fun for you as it was a few years ago? I've been disappointed to see player maturity, competency, team-sense and friendliness fall like a rock this last year. It's almost made me quit, because trying to work with good team is like herding cats, if the cats are also 10 years old and AFK in spawn. Has it affected your play, enjoyment, or future plans?
Thanks for all the comments so far everyone, I replied to some but my replies got deleted & there's also no reply button to some of them. I saw some interesting questions though, and it made me think about doing an AMA or Q&A. So to the fans: where would you like to see that done, and in what format?
***** I'll just copy what I posted I see you turning cornerstabs into matadors often- you should teach on this movement, I believe a lot of spies would benefit from this.
JCthe Spy Usually I'll switch it into a matador when I realize in that moment I've given them too much time to react. So halfway into the cornerstab I'll realize "Yeah, I fucked up...but I know where they're going to look now so time for a matador." All of these stabs, especially the ones that look like facestabs really come down to knowing precisely when and where the opponents are going to look in certain directions, which I control by leading them with my own movement.
I like the speed when I see it. Woop! This video shows the one big factor that differentiates people whom simply stick to the cookie cutter process and by-the-book tricks, to those who innovates and adapts to any terrain, and always psychologically one step ahead of the opponent. What we have here is a perfect mixture of psychology and fast, acute, movements, that allow rapid succession and distant foresight, that thus allows seemingly unthinkable tricks that you've never thought of executing. It is not the area that defines that stab, nor the certain prop, but is the adaptive aspect and utilizing ALL keys that makes these tricks possible. P.S. Really like the title, very suiting indeed. Many a stab displayed in this video is highly dependent on parallax displacement and the lack of foresight on the receiving end.
Same, I kept watching his vids, practicing on Tr_walkway and always fail, infact, when my enemy doesn't notice me, I stab him from the back BUT in the wrong angle. I need advice in my case.
Cats Purrsson Internet in a nutshell: Everybody who's somebody pretends to be the better body. I agree though, people like that who admit defeat and don't just go, "OH MA GOD HOW'D YOU BACTREB MYEH FROM DA BOTTOM YOU HACKER!!! KICK HIM, HE'S HACKING!!!" are quite less.
I know right? how many people who get stabbed in crazy ways take a moment to think about the thought/effort that went into the stab? 90% of the time if they get stabbed in a wonky way they just call bs
Best fucking spy EVER!! Slurgi makes playing spy a pure art. He knows how exactly the psycho of the spy playing, understanding the behaviour of the rivals. AWESOME.
Two words: Holy shit. You are amazing. I think what makes you such a special spy is that not only do you know the hitboxes, you also have a perfect sense of timing for jumps. It is astounding. Well done :)
I've seen quite a few spy frag video all over youtube and specifically tried to find videos better than yours but I really could not find videos as amazing and just jam packed with ridiculous trickstabs as you. I know trickstabs aren't the only thing about spy but you are so far the best I've seen on youtube. Hope to see you make more videos soon.
honestly he brings pub play to a new level. its a beautiful thing. he says that a lot of the stuff hes learned (mainly movement) is due to that fact he plays on 32 man servers
Slurgi you are my favorite spy. Just from watching your videos these past couple months I've been getting back into spy and I've improved so much. Watching you is like watching an artist painting. You're amazing at what you do and I hope to be as good as you one day!
Hi Slurgi! I play a lot of time with spy, and iam enyoing it so much. When i saw you on YB, YOU teached me, to trickstab people. Now i have a youtube chane with only spy gameplays, and with 1800 subs right now. Thank you so much, for all these tutorials, you make "spying"better! Hope you will read this comment //Xerniv
From the tf2 wiki "A valid facestab works as intended by the developers, making correct use of lag compensation. In a true facestab, the Spy appears to be attacking an enemy from the front on both players' screens, but lag compensation results in it being registered as a backstab." neat stuff.
UA-cam subs is not about being good or bad, Mr. Paladin uploads regularly and he has uploaded numerous tutorials that people find very useful. Check out b4nny's channel, one of the best tf2 players out there but has only 30K subs.
Derpo Kaiba, the President of Derpo Corp. Jerma isn't good, but his voice and personality are both awesome. That's why he's probably the most subbed besides star and muselk. Monotone voice. Doesn't upload regularly. Barely any personality= low sub. No offense stabby and splurgi, but it's true.
This video is full of WTFs, i had to rewind it and slow it down so many times to understand how good Slurgi is and how impossible it is for me to catch up with him.
What i find amazing is this guy can trick people into falling for a trickstab when they know every stab in the book, they'll still fall for it! That's just ridiculous.
bruh seriously I've played with both you and stabby, and I think out of the two, I always find myself most paranoid of you. not an exaggeration saying that you're most likely in the top 5 of best spies in tf2
My hard drive got corrupted a month or two ago and I haven't installed TF2 on my new one...now I want to. Too bad spring break just finished. Dang it, Slurgi!
1:45 - That prediction was incredible.
Uncle Dane I thing he heard the medic's footsteps
Hitbox PVP He said in the comments that music was on and he couldn't

Uncle Dane Where is Aunty Dane? :(

1.Watch Slurgi
2. Feel powerful
3. Jump in a pub
4. get r3kt horribly
5. rage quit
6. go back to step 1
Holy hell just so true
This honestly isnt true. I learn from his videos. And i never get rekt, ever. :3
TF2 Axel yeah just recently I got REALLY good at all the classes, oddly after I got a lot of hats :3
TF2 Axel add me, steam name is SNIPAR MAN
Why?
When playing spy,
Other people's logic: They won't notice if I'm sneaky enough...
Slurgi's logic: They won't notice, if there's no one to notice...
Slurgi, what impresses me most about your spy play isn't your ability to get trickstabs- that's reasonably common.
What I find impressive is your ability to recover when you miss a stab- you can almost always step back and turn it into a successful backstab, and that's amazing.
lmao wouldn't surprise me if he missed some stabs on purpose to get a trickstab afterwards
IceNoob88 I've done that, it's pretty likely to work usually
Probably a fake trickstab to test this one and make the victim think he is gonna do the same attempt again.
Yep. I've seen a lot of spies try to trictstab or stairstab me. I miss ya slurgi. There will be celebration if you post one last video as a final farewell.
"Slurgi is everywhere, and yet nowhere".
Ain't that the truth.
Woke up on a monday morning at 5am to go to school, check my phone slurgi uploads a vid. Monday is an okay day..
Meh. You and Salty Phish aren't mad spies yourselves :)
Bryant Goh bad*
I'm on phone I can't edit responses :\

You definitely should do an AMA at www.reddit.com/r/tf2

That guy in the first clip had me dying. "He stair stabbed me off the railing... Jeez"
lmao
You gotta watch this video twice.
1st time to enjoy the stabs, 2nd time to enjoy the chat reactions :3
Great vid slurgi
Awesome comment.
Vitto D'accordissimo.
anche qui ti trovo :)
Every time I watch a Slurgi video, I think "I'm an okay spy, I can do that too!"
And then I don't.
Same, I kept watching his vids, practicing on Tr_walkway and always fail, infact, when my enemy doesn't notice me, I stab him from the back BUT in the wrong angle. I need advice in my case.
Slurgi, as a Spy main and others that are aswell, we look up to you. Make more videos, we miss you.
He streams from time to time
Christ, your movement is so precise. o_o
On a second note: I dig the Reisen guy, he admits defeat, he doesn't bitch about shit. :)
u suck nigga
... Meanwhile, this guy doesn't even know something's wrong with him :(

Holy shit Slurgi, I would've definitely panic at 1:45 , fucked up timing and the stab. Really great mental strength.
Nice job Slurgi, good to see you uploading more regularly now.

***** lol yeah, i cant believe i used to main spy haha
The fact that you only have 25k subs is a biig mistake. You're a better spy than Mr. Paladin, if I do say so myself.
agreed
UA-cam subs is not about being good or bad, Mr. Paladin uploads regularly and he has uploaded numerous tutorials that people find very useful. Check out b4nny's channel, one of the best tf2 players out there but has only 30K subs.

Hackers copy your brain and use it to form hacks.

I think I've watched this around 20 times, still so good.
Slurgi is everywhere and yet nowhere.
-Reisen Inaba 2015

The pacience and prediction.

you have taken spy to a new lvl, Keep on the good work Slurgi ;D
I've literally been watching all ur other vids over and over again while waiting for u to make a new one. 😂
Your taste in music is still incredible
It's amazing to see how the frag standards have skyrocketed over the years! Still, this is legendary stuff.

"Slurgi is everywhere and yet nowhere"
Your movement is insane. Thank you for your vids. You helped me to learn the spy :D
I'm finally hitting trick stabs after watching you! Thank you so much!

A damn fine job sir. A damn fine job.
What i find amazing is this guy can trick people into falling for a trickstab when they know every stab in the book, they'll still fall for it! That's just ridiculous.
holy shit these are unreal
I feel that this guy's a "cut" above Stabby.
4:51 one of those scouts who will hold m1 and stand still when killing a spy to be more of a dick.
Thanks again Slurgi
Slurgi is every where, yet no where
bruh seriously I've played with both you and stabby, and I think out of the two, I always find myself most paranoid of you. not an exaggeration saying that you're most likely in the top 5 of best spies in tf2
Next episode: Slurgi allows himself to use amby and breaks tf2.
OMG THE LEGEND IS BACK!
That was an amazing stab at 1:06 but judging by the smoke, I think he got away
Man slurgi... You're back. ;)
Slurgi, Grand Master.

My hard drive got corrupted a month or two ago and I haven't installed TF2 on my new one...now I want to. Too bad spring break just finished. Dang it, Slurgi!
