Gonna have to vote for Jamie! Love all the flavors he put in there, and while it's very far from a traditional version of any of those dishes, it still looks incredibly tasty.
Honestly all three looked outstanding. All of you guys seemed to be in control (for the most part) with very little flapping. Kudos to Ben for getting thrown in there with someone else's idea and making something that looked delicious. I do have to give it to Jamie though. @@tinkdnuosto be fair most places ive been to caramelized the onions and peppers or at least softened them on the grill before putting them on the sandwich
@@alyssat7809 the onions should be "fried" but not caramelized. Soft and translucent, golden, but not brown. And yes, IF you're using fresh peppers, they should probably be grilled too. I just said "fresh" to distinguish from pickled hot or sweet peppers.
Although like I said before, you can have it however you like it! But fundamentally it's meat and cheese on an Italian roll, with or without onions. Anything else is an extra and NOT included or expected on a cheesesteak, traditionally.
Ever since Barry became “sous chef” Jamie has LEVELED UP his game. Like dang dude.
Ben king of innuendos
The idea of a curry lasagna is so interesting I am surprised it has not already been a viral trend. Jamie deserves the win, but I did think Barry executed his idea really well, and making a sweet dish in a pasta challenge was a great move, really creative
Quote of the Day: “…but I feel like Mike had this idea at three o’clock in the morning, when he couldn’t sleep.”
The battles are my favorite videos, so im happy to see one pop up.
Were the sketches for the dishes done with AI?
Absolutely lost it at Barry's expression when Ben says he's shaving his bottom
7:38 Ben's cartoon laugh at Jamie's pasta got me laughing too...
Would love an annual, end of year, Chef Skills Challenge championship between the three normals to see who improved the most that year. In case someone wants to knock Barry off of his sous chef throne and take his red apron.
Mike and Jamie should be able to challenge Barry for the jacket
That would be a great mid-year or end-of-year series. They're all pretty even (badge-wise, anyways!) so maybe they could do a gauntlet over the course of a few videos. End it with a live-stream? That's my pitch haha
@@mattisme right, also I would love a pass it on vs battle. 2 teams cooking 2 dishes at once
This was fantastic, we need more videos where one of the chefs is swapped into an unplanned battle with instructions from one of the normals
