I love to cook (and eat) and I guess my husband and I would probably be considered "foodies" - if that term is even used anymore. 😂 We've dined in some very high-end restaurants as well as some amazing "hole-in-the-wall" diners and everywhere in between. But I don't think I've ever heard of or seen a sauce for salmon or any other fish or seafood dishes in general, that has corn in it! So, of course, I had to look into it and did a little online investigation and lo and behold, I found that corn and cream based sauces for fish are very popular in Asian and Mexican cuisine. It might be in others as well, but I just did a quick search. Now, I'm definitely going to have to try at least a couple of the recipes I found! Oily fish like salmon actually helps to lower blood pressure. Fish with high mercury levels will raise blood pressure. I wonder what the local fish is.
Actually, it's larger predatory fish such as salmon and, tuna, that contain higher mercury levels as it is an accumulative effect and throughout their lifespan they eat more and more smaller fish. They're small local River fish will have very little or no Mercury.

I’m glad to see them all enjoying my favorite seafood, especially Mr. Chaudhary, who has not had the best experiences with seafood. And Rana: “I love you, Salmon.” ❤️ Occasionally, I’ll have tartar sauce with salmon, but having grown up in the Pacific Northwest of the US (with the best varieties of salmon easily available), I learned at a young age that a decent piece of salmon needs no sauces or seasonings. It stands well enough on its own. Sometimes a light sprinkle of dill weed, or a little butter. Last week, I put away the big charcoal grill for the winter, but its final use of this year was a large Copper River Salmon (the best of the best) I’d been saving. Grilled and eaten bare. 😋

I just think he didn’t care for the taste and didn’t want to be insulting. Some people just don’t like seafood, and a lot of people don’t eat fish because they’re afraid of the tiny bones. Saying it doesn’t have bones doesn’t remove the phobia.
@@grim1570 and yet, look at the state of American health. My aren't we civilised and healthy with our Twinkies, Lays, and PepsiCo. Our food scientists are so advanced and modern with our hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup!
I love all of these gentlemen, and Mr. Tahir Nawab always has scientific explanations for things that I find very enjoyable
I love fresh wild caught salmon. That's a very special meal. Yum! I want some asparagus and mashed potatoes with that. 😋
I know where the side dishes? How about some grilled asparagus
My favorite sides with salmon: Bowl of rice, soy sauce, fresh sautéed spinach, a bit of wasabi, a nice cup of hot green tea. YUM!
Asparagus, yes. But mashed potatoes, nah...buttered red potatoes!
"Salmon I love you", oh my heart. Bless him, bless them all.
“I love you, Salmon” 😂😂😂 I just love these guys .. hilarious 😆
They’re so genuine and innocent, very entertaining and enjoyable 😊
When Mr. Rana says "I love you, Salmon" we believe him. ❤
These guys crack me up! "I love you Salmon!"
Then you got the intellectual explaining how lemon whitens the teeth. They all have such awesome personalities! I really enjoy these videos! 😍
I love how cautious they are when 1st trying something new.😆
they were Cautious , as all Fish in Pakistan have bones.
Salmon is really really good it can be cooked in so many different ways. What's nice about salmon is that it's extremely healthy for you.
well it depends, the tastiest and ONLY way i eat salmon is with a few knobs of butter and frying it in the frying pan salting the skin side only for seasoning and make it crunchy....then when it's cooked in between 2 slices of toasted bread with a sprinkle of lemon juice and a light dab of some chilli sauce....the sandwich is soaking in the butter and salmon fat there is no way that is healthy, but it tastes sooooo good.
They might enjoy Salmon Pattie’s/croquettes 😊
Salmon sandwiches, yummo!....
i love this channel so much not only do i get to watch people eat a guilty pleasure of mine i get to see people eat food outside of there own culture or country i have a firm belief a country food is the heart soul and culture served on a dish
Just found these videos a couple days ago.. definitely some of my favorite on the internet. Thank you for keeping these going!!
oh no! you got the addiction. ive been an addict for 2+ years
I love to cook (and eat) and I guess my husband and I would probably be considered "foodies" - if that term is even used anymore. 😂
We've dined in some very high-end restaurants as well as some amazing "hole-in-the-wall" diners and everywhere in between.
I'm actually glad that it's Friday because we tend to do more of our "experimental cooking " on the weekends!
Great reaction as always, guys! Much love and abundant blessings to the TPT family! 💛🕊🙏🏻
I was interested as well. I thought it was creamed corn at first.
These men make my day! So positive and expressive! More people need to see this, so we can dispel all of our assumptions! ❤
I nearly shat my pants laughing when Tahir thought he was being clever biting on that lemon. 🤣
Lemon tree is very pretty and the smell is oh so sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat .
I eat mine with salt and pepper. I really like lemons.

my mouth is watering just thinking about a 🍋. I like mine with salt and pepper.
I like mine with salt and tequila
I would eat more often if it didn't give me heart burn lol
Salmon is one of my favs 💜 so glad you like it too!
These people seeing things I take for granted with fresh eyes are giving me a new appreciation of those little luxuries.
Truly gentle men! 😊🙏🏼❤️ very fun , a true joy to witness their reactions 🤭
Mr Chaudry loves cleanliness. Awesome to watch all of them. 🙋♀️ from 🇨🇦
As an Alaskan I would like them to try smoked salmon for comparison and to see it’s versatility. We make spreads, dips, casseroles, salads and even candies with it.
Finn here we do the same except candy for that we have Salmiak
Candy salmon is so good. To bad it's so expensive where I live
Candied salmon??? Really???
@@crystalcorbett1705 OH yes, I have cousins who live in Northern British Columbia Canada. They catch and make smoked and candied Salmon , it is so good.
on the west coast they make the best candy salmon. I like candy salmon and smoked salmon, that is about it for salmon for me. Although watching Chaudry, makes me wish I could enjoy it like he does!
Tahir, let him know that salmon is a heart healthy fish. He can eat as much as he wants, if he likes it.😂😂😂
His "science" is his own and you will never convince him otherwise.
He actually says the preparation is bad without saying it... "very sugary"
🤔 gotta look into this. My doc has to increase my BP meds each time I visit! I know nature has my medicine. I’ve already lost weight to get it down and it worked marvelously.
Tahir! Salmon is SO good for you! I love how much Rana enjoyed it. Salmon is the best! And so many ways to prepare and enjoy! I like it baked with capers and honey, with a little garlic and dill. You can’t really go wrong with salmon. Thanks for this one!
so true , is a fish with a lot of fat, but is a very healthy one. Salmon is in the top 10 of the healthiest foods around.
As a dietitian I agree
That sounds truly delicious ! I will try it. 🌿🧡
Great video!! I love for them to try smoked Salmon/Lox as well!
Mr chaudhary is doing a very good job using the Western-style fork and knife. ⭐️
Everytime they've gotten any type of fish they mention the pin bones that they have to pick out before eating. They're always amazed that you can actually buy fish already de-boned. They're so precious and so grateful and respectful. Love these guys.
Can you imagine the wisdom, holistic medicine tips, stories you'd get just from sitting down for one meal with them. Love them!
People here in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. love their salmon (myself included)! I like to cook the whole fish. My hubby and I will eat it for dinner for three or four nights, and then I take the rest and make a kickass salmon chowder with it.
how do you deal with all that salmon fat in your body
Lol you can't be serious. 4 nights a week salmon
You are really getting your omega 3’s in! Lol

He talks a good game but looks like he has TB.

Watching these guys always brings happiness to my face and heart... they're so genuin
All of these men are hilarious and entertaining! Such a unique UA-cam channel. Always funny, thanks.
There are some more and they are always heart-warming

I love this guys! So grateful, humble, kind and full of God's love to others. Blessings of God over you all and your familiesl
Khan eat by hand it looks so naturally and delicious. He has such a picturesque image, I had only read about a turban in fairy tales before, but he has so many of them! And every time a new turban. And the mustache in general, he probably ranks first in mustaches on UA-cam🎉
Ahahahaha at 3:38 Tahir is taking tiny constant chews to check for bones before he swallows , this man is scar'd by boney fillets 😂
Salmon is awesome. I'm happy they got to try it and I hope they and their families can have it in the future.
This is just wonderful. As an American I truly enjoy watching other cultures trying American food for the first time. I especially enjoy watching these genuine reactions and pleasure. It's just pure joy watching these. I will probably not travel outside of my country so this is especially precious. Thank you
`trying American food`. Im not sure a grilled piece of fish qualifies as American food......
Bro..that guy with the weird hat and tassel has the most legitimate mustache I’ve ever seen. And he looks like a real life genie. Amazing!
When Dr. Tahir tasted the lemon.....😂😂😂😂
"It is very sugary"
As a resident on the west coast of Canada, I eat salmon often. IMHO it does not need any sauce with it, so delicious on its own! ❤️🇨🇦
Watching these men enjoy salmon for the first time is more enjoyable to me than eating it myself. And the fact that they have the purity of soul to acknowledge The Creator for it is even sweeter delight. What a testimony to the world! I hope that they and their families will be blessed always with health and enlightened souls. 💓

I don't like salmon but so happy that they've found another food to enjoy that is very healthy for them. For Mr. Chaudhary to enjoy it when he's not a fan of shrimp makes me smile :)
It's good to see these distinguished tribal elders enjoying food they've never had before
I haven't had salmon in so long, now I want some. Lol
Just make sure it's wild caught, not farmed! Farmed salmon is garbage!
Just make sure you have plenty of money….the price for it is crazy!

I love listening to their thoughts, opinions, and insight. I feel like a window to their culture, thoughts, ideas and experiences has been open to me, on the other side of the world. They often comment on just being villagers. I see them as so much more than that! There is such beauty in their hearts and ninds. A thirst for knowledge, new experiences and new ideas. I love this! Just good vibes all around. We need more of this in our lives.
I absolutely love these videos, mainly because of the wonderful, humble lovely people. It is so reassuring & warming, especially after I encounter the complete opposite of humanity on a daily basis.

Okay, so I know that the translator is using 'coriander' for any green herb. I heard Raffique say 'methi', which are fenugreek leaves. It also seems to me that 'mild' is being translated as 'bland'.
Yes, the translator call every flavour "salty, sour, sugary or bland."
How could you not like these guys, so expressive, so charming and very intelligent and eloquent.
I’m glad to see them all enjoying my favorite seafood, especially Mr. Chaudhary, who has not had the best experiences with seafood.
And Rana: “I love you, Salmon.”
❤️
Occasionally, I’ll have tartar sauce with salmon, but having grown up in the Pacific Northwest of the US (with the best varieties of salmon easily available), I learned at a young age that a decent piece of salmon needs no sauces or seasonings. It stands well enough on its own. Sometimes a light sprinkle of dill weed, or a little butter. Last week, I put away the big charcoal grill for the winter, but its final use of this year was a large Copper River Salmon (the best of the best) I’d been saving. Grilled and eaten bare.
😋
I also live in the PacNW and adore salmon! A little butter, dill, and lemon is all the seasoning that fish ever needs.
I agree and actually made the same comment. I didn’t actually say that a sauce like that would ruin the fish for me!❤️🇨🇦
So sweet. You could see they didn't trust that there's no fishbone in it 😅 they tried so carefully first. And personally I appreciate how respectful the gentleman answers that he tried it and he never said that he didn't really like it. Very polite and respectful, thank you so much for your video content, not only the taste western food ones, but also when they speak about their everyday lives and let us have a little glimpse into their culture. Also loved the cookbooks. Amazing and may God bless you all and your families with long healthy and successful lifes. Greetings from Ireland ❤
Salmon and Rainbow Trout are my two favorite fish. It is really hard to mess them up. Glad three of you enjoyed the salmon, too bad Tahir didn't like it. But we understand that not everyone likes fish.
Why do people hate tilapia or orange roughy?
Fresh grilled salmon is one of my favourites. So good to see others enjoying it. I do mine with fresh rosemary garlic and some pepper with lemon. The best.
They're all right .. salmon is delicious! I make it at least once a week with a honey-garlic glaze 😋
Oh that sounded delicious
I agree; this sounds delicious! can you share a recipe?
I like how all of them either talk about the health benefits or risk of the food. Rana is my favorite thou, he doesn't care, if the food is good he going to say it good, despite it not being something he is used to.
Wow what a treat to watch them enjoy salmon. Now they need to try "smoked ahi tuna " another boneless fish and very delicious ! Oh by the way tell Tahir that alligator taste like chicken nuggets. We eat it a lot here in New Orleans and other types of shell fish .
bluefin tuna is better than yellowfin (ahi tuna). when you say another boneless fish you are wrong, salmon as well as tuna has bones. the salmon in this video has been de-boned.
i've had fillets a lot of times with the bones left in and it only takes a few minutes to remove the bones with a tweezer.
The first dude is foreign Harrison Ford. He always looks so hesitant and worried at the start. lol. These videos rock!
I agree with Rana, I love Salmon, it can be such a fresh beautiful taste if cooked properly. Dr Tahir's foods that heat up the body fascinate me, I think prawns come in to that bracket as well.
