i really want to channel the rip currents as an elevator to paddle out. Paddling out has been really tough ad a beginner, but this current wisdom seems super helpful
Yeah coach! Great to have you back with a longer vid! As I progress and apply your stuff I notice I need better waves and need to read the waves better. I still pop up on everything rideable. The stoke is still real. Awareness grows too. Water movement, water depth, sandbars, wavepeaks, the more hours I'm in the water the more I'm aware of things. But so much things come together when surfing, unbelievable actually. Learning curve is getting less steep but still leaving loads to gain. My beachbreak keeps breaking all over the place with mostly close out waves. Northsea is very shallow on the Dutch side and only has longer waves on rare 'big' swells 5 feet and up. Just a few times a year with offshore winds when I'm at work for instance. 🤷🏽♂️😂 Winter surf is a challenge too with temperatures around 4 Celsius and a warm household with a fresh newspaper and hot coffee on tap..
Pleasure. There are always a lot of things to remember in surfing so the most important things are the foundations of surfing and to spend time in the water. I hope you have a warm enough wetsuit for the Dutch waves coz you could progress a lot more in the winter there!

Good to know. Hope it works out for you 😊
Love your content. I saw you on a post from Sea Dog Nezzy, in so cal not long ago. It is similar to my nor cal spot; cold, beach break.
Thanks Jim. I need to head back there and maybe we grab a surf together!
Great content. As a complete beginner really helpful. Thanks
Thanks Brett 🙌
