    Wonderful and Romantic...and unique. Marvelous tone, phrasing, and atmosphere. Why need early music be played so 'straight' and without feeling? Love this - very musical, even if it's unconventional.

    Fantastic pianist-what a shame she didn't record more.Imagine if she'd dated Uri Geller? That would've bent a few spoons.

    I've owned an album featuring Ms. Guller for more than 30 years, the lady plays aa she does while I enjoy the music without criticism. The music will be no better for that.

    @gullivior Yes, you are right, and it is obviously a question of personal taste... she was certainly a great artist! I like this particular sonata to be played with more rhythmic, sharply articulated lilt. More than nostalgia I would like to hear the sound of Spanish folk tunes and elegant horses...

    Non ho mai capito perché gli autori “barocchi” non si possano suonare con una sensibilità romantica. Mica erano dei carillon, ma artisti sommi e di certo sensibili. Avessero avuto dei grancoda li avrebbero usati, e le loro musiche avrebbero avuto un maggior sviluppo stante la maggior estensione della tastiera. Dunque chi vuole si senta le esecuzioni “filologiche” , mentre gli altri si godano - in questo caso - uno Scarlatti magnifico precursore di sensibilità che ancora oggi ci commuovono.

    I love her Chopin recordings, but to me this Scarlatti is a little too "Romantic" in terms of expression and pedaling.
