I'm in tears. I was told that I got my first relaxer when I was about 6 years old.😔 I'm glad that the Holy Spirit spoke to me as a young adult, and I've been natural for almost 20 years!
I am a mere five minutes into this video and already I had to take a step back. To hear it broken down to someone not familiar with the process of a relaxer makes me shake my head for what was considered the standard practice of beauty for black girls and women.
5yrs ago I decided to go natural. It was good but hard. Hard taking care of it especially with kids and everything in-between. Last year I permed it and barely a year later, i regretted that decision. My husband helped me do a big chop a month ago and I'm back to natural. I feel great 😃 Writing from Cameroon, Africa
I can't believe I'm just seeing this video. As a Texan right outside of Dallas, I love the Evans family and how they have helped in the community and I've always wondered how Priscilla "maintains" her beautiful hair. She's right. EVERYONE permed. I always felt left out because I've never had a perm, but I was the rare one because all of my friends did. It's not the most important thing, but if hair and spiritual growth are of interest to you then you can't help but notice Priscilla's and I love that she shared this like we're sitting at a slumber party.❤
❤❤❤ yep. I'm currently transitioning from relaxer and never looking back. I'm so excited watching my curls grow out. She's right about the burns and scabs with relaxers.... I'd get them too. When I eventually decided to transition some months ago, it was when the flaking became extreme. My hair was first relaxed around 5 years old and now I'm 27 now gonna transition. That's crazy to think that my hair identity won't be embraced until now after close to 3 decades but I give God the praise and thanks for this. Some people won't get it, but this freedom.
I’m a white sister with grey hair and I STILL LEARNED SOMETHING from this Thanks Priscilla ❤ I will protect my hair from the elements better and I will braid it more often so it’s less tangled to brush and quit wearing it tight
I have not put any heat on my hair for about 24 years, and everyone tells me how beautiful it is, I put my natural hair in two braids and wear hats, head wraps. And I am loving my hair. I pray for my hair and my skin.
I'm 1 year into my natural hair after I had this curiosity to see the potential for my natural hair. And I'm also praying for my hair . Because the word of God says our hair is our crown . So I asked the Lord to grow my hair . Am happy with the results so far
Hi, Priscilla!!! I stopped relaxing my hair in my late 40s. I’m so glad I did!!! It I hv bn wearing my hair shirt since my thyroid cancer surgery in Sept 2020. That was the most traumatic event in my life! My hair matted so badly n b4 tht it was thinning n falling out. I’m so liberated now that I keep my hair short, curly, no color, just gel or mouse now. I love my hair! I’m glad u hv had testimonial abt ur hair story! Thank for ALL ur videos! !!!! I love them n am inspired by them. Even my Eddie likes them!!😉We need to love the way God made us from head to toe! God bless u n ur family!!! 🩷🥰🌷🌴🦩🌺🙏🏽😍
I got rid of my relaxer by growing locs for 5 years and then I combed it out. It took two weeks but my hair is natural again and long. I now use Donna’s Recipe for me and my daughters. I’m still working on styling but I will never burn my scalp again
I gave my hair back to God 🙏🏾 I couldn’t show it to the world yet. So I prayed over it nurtured it and appreciated it. I still keep my hair in scarves (nice ones) with edges laid! 😂 this way I leave my glory alone and it grows, and in that my faith leads my beauty and my messages to the world 🙏🏾🥰
Oh yes!!! I love that, you give your hair to God ♥️ Patience is key Sis and eventually your natural crown will grow beautifully 💫 I love the fact you style it with boom looking scarves and slay your edges 🥰🥰🥰
Y'all my natural hair is the real Afro kinky but right now i want to cry as I've been relaxing it for some time now and if I'm to be honest,,, I wasn't doing it for me😢. Thanks a bunch Lady Priscy for this,,Never again🥺.
My mom relaxed my hair when I was five and that’s wild to me, my daughter is 5 and I couldn’t even imagine putting chemicals at her age… I remember having scabs after having my first relaxer and then it basically became normal to have scabs once and a while… that’s crazy! I pray that God reverses any damage that was done to my scalp while i was so young, the ignorance of my mom at that time🙏🏽 I am so happy that I stopped relaxing my hair 16 years ago in my teenage years and started trying to embrace my natural hair… now I have locs and I love it here ❤ It is so beautiful to hear your people complimenting you on your natural hair🙏🏽
He is so awesome he cares about everything that concerns us. I have always relaxed from a teenager. Now I've been natural for like 7 years. My hair is so beautiful.
I’m just viewing this video and oh my goodness… It resonates with me on so many levels! I had a relaxer and experienced breakage and burns. I stopped the relaxers and started getting press and curls. That didn’t work either because my hair was being pressed to death!!! (We’re talking bone straight! ) My hair started getting thinner and thinner. Then I decided to go into braids and sometimes, crochet braids. Great protective styles; however, I would keep them in too long or the braider would braid my hair too tight and my edges started to suffer. I could go on and on. I now have microlocs and it’s the best decision I ever made! The hair freedom I have now is liberating in every way! No more heat, burns, or pulling and tugging at my edges. My hair is free to just be! It’s great not to have to worry about it. I can spritz my hair with water and keep it moving!
Amen to that. Been natural since 2015 and my hair was long and alopecia and suffered with depression and one day looked at myself in the mirror and started cutting in my natural hair. But now I'm on my second year loc journey.
I had my first Relaxer (perm) when I were 14 years old, 16 when I went from an relaxer to an Jeri curls. Once I have finished high school (I am thinking about a year and a half after) I got a big chop TWA and went natural and after a year I went back to an relaxer. Now in 2010 I did another big chop and still natural. Been natural alot longer than before. This has been the longest I have been natural, I don't miss relaxer. I am loving my natural hair. Your hair will be much healthier without any chemicals in your hair. Natural is the best thing that happens to me. Hallelujah
This is more than just about hair it deep thank you for being a blessing to our generation ❤❤ am not even done watching this yet and it's my first time coming across this
I also got my first “permanent “ when I was 10. Then, I hit a curl. Then I was just natural. I got a flat iron a few years ago that cost $100, and it lasted maybe a day before it reverted. Now I wear Sisterlocks. That’s the best hair decision I ever made.
Thank you, Priscilla, you are a great inspiration to me. This video has encouraged me as I approach my 10th natural hair anniversary (2/16/24). God has blessed me to grow my hair long and healthy. I started my healthy hair journey with a prayer and following such vloggers as; Daphne Madyara, Kimmaytube and Naptural 85. My hair journey was very similar to yours, lol! I decided I wanted to have full, long and thick healthy hair. God has taught me so much about myself through this process, hair and more (Ephesians 3:20). May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family 🕊🙏❤
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Her natural hair journey blessed me so much that I had to share her video so that it can be a blessing to others as well. Happy anniversary in advice 🥰🤗 Thanks for sharing your favorite naturalistas I definitely will be checking them out on UA-cam. May God continue to blessed you on your natural hair journey and thanks for stoping bye 💕💫🙏🏾
Thank you for this phenomenal Word! I stumbled upon this video just as I was finishing my Saturday morning devotional with the Lord. I've been talking to the Lord about becoming a better me through disciplines in the areas of emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. So much of what you said was a confirmation of what me and God decided we're doing on this journey. Thank you 😊 ❤
We rarely talk about such things but they are important, thank you so much sister. I felt like I was alone in this and so different that I was no longer sure if I am right or just late.
Thank you for this!! I love her hair! I've been natural for 11 years and it's to my bra strap. I had to do a big chop again but I certainly do not miss getting a relaxer. My hair has not been this long with a relaxer. I had to learn that God blessed me with my hair and I'm his masterpiece.
Wow thanks for sharing this Sis 🩷🙌🏾 Chemicals prevent growth. It only damages and stops our hair from growing. Congrats 🎊🍾🎉 on your 11 years of beautiful curls 💐
My grandma always said to me to be thankful to God for everything he gave us even if we had thoughts of something not being in fashion or following trends. She said as a child you don't have to worry about the way you look all beauty products were out of reach of children and you only visit a salon like once a year to get your tips cut and that's it. I didn't even wear make up until I was 18 and no nail polish. I grew up very apart from the rest of my friends who started wearing make up at 13 years and I am so thankful to my family to surround me with the simplicity of life to accept who we are and not try to change it or to feel out of place just because people don't look like me. I lived a care free life and didn't care to follow my friends into their fashion trends without an effort. I was who I was and my mom showed me simple self care that was not over the top. She always told me a women should let her natural beauty reflect in her heart.
Yes it was the same with my parents and grandparents. I’m now teaching my child the same thing. I’m Grateful that they instilled in me a lifetime lesson. 💕💕💕💕💕
Some people go through medical conditions that forces them to shave, therefore having short hair its not a taboo in SA and not sin. Having short hair its a choice. @zayasnaturalhairhaven3451
y@@zayasnaturalhairhaven3451Not everyone. Depends. Americans are very mixed frpm dar in their familes. For us actual Africans, many of us, our hair is naturall short & curly & takes forever to grow. There are many with log hair too coz of family genes
🎉❤❤❤ thanks so much Prisca for your time, helping us see and appreciate who God made us to be . I learnt so much from your teaching,it's an eye opening section you put out here Sister. God bless you 💘💘
But, He’s, so merciful, He helped me grow my hair back, but, my crown is still in process, I’ve been natural, since2008, Thank you so, much for sharing ❤🙏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾
I noticed you said CURLY HAIR, BUT IT WAS CALLED NAPPY HAIR IN 1900'S. Straight hair was the beauty standard. (THEN). BUT PRAISE BE TO GOD, WE RECOGNIZE HOW NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL WE ARE; WITH CURLY STRANDS OF HAIR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR STORY.
@joyh2224 This comment is out of love. A black woman's natural hair texture is Curly. We may have heard the term nappy hair coming up, but that is not proper terminology. A black woman's texture is , curly or over curly Priscilla explains the process and description beautifully.
You have TRULY BLESSED me with this video!!!! Blessing upon you for this message, my sister!! I've been natural for over 20 years, and I love it!! This entire message, as you said, speaks to so many areas of our lives. What a needed broadcast!! ❤️ your ministry!!
It was seven girls in our house growing up and we got our hair done from the iron on the stove. We got our hair done for Easter and Christmas, that’s it. We were poor but made it through. I’m 70 years old now and all natural for life. Love it like that! Thanks for sharing this sis.
Thank you for sharing your journey! I wanted to ask you these questions for years. Going natural has been so liberating. I have the hair that God gave me and I love it!
To God be all the glory 🙌🏾 going back Natural is literally one of the best decisions we could ever make. We learn to love our God giving hair and how to take better care of it as we go along, and I believe that’s what Priscilla Shirer was portraying through this video.
I chop my hair twice after it got damage from relaxing. I will never relax my hair again because I love admiring my natural wool hair and what I love is that at nights when the light is on the little streaks of silver hair would glitter.
Awwwww 🥰 this is a really nice comment. Sis you’ve learned to love your natural hair ♥️🫶🏾 and I’m so happy of your decision to never wanting to relaxed your hair again 👌🏾
I’ve done that big chop a few years ago and I felt very self conscious. I relaxed again I’m 2 weeks away from retouching. I’ve been on the fence about going natural again. Your story convinced me to stop damaging my hair. Lord please help me care for my natural hair🙏🏽.
What good about this journey is that you can start all over again whenever you feel like it. Know that this journey is definitely a tough one ☝🏾 you will feel discouraged and want to quite but just know that as you keep on going you will learn to love your natural curls day by day ♥️ you got this Queen 👑💪🏾
Our hair is beautiful. We just have to learn how to care for it. I did a big chop. I’m in the awkward phase so I’m braided until I get more length to work with.
Never had a perm been natural all my life 64 years I love my nappy hair so many women are constantly pulling on their hair with all this new Techniques of hair experts that really don't know hair I tell you this can't go wrong going natural it's just the beauty of it no one can convince me to look like another woman I love what God gave me so I take care of my hair.
Hallelujah I told myself last month that i wasn't going to relaxed my hair again but i was kind of worried because i really liked my relaxed hair. I had a dream a soneone was trying to help me trimm my hair and and stopped the person. The person reminded me that, were you not the same person who wanted to transition from relaxed hair to natural hair? I replied yes, then the person in the dream said, then let me help you in the journey. I'm really sure its the Holy spirit that reminded me and now I'm happy to embark on this journey.
When I went natural the first time I constantly straightened my hair. If you like straight hair but don’t want a relaxer you could become what’s known as a straight hair natural. Silk presses or simply flat ironing on a regular basis can achieve this look without the chemicals.
I have a hard time accepting my hair. I haven't relaxed it in 26 years however I go to the salon everyweek to get a blow out. Thank you for this video, I have to learn to love my natural hair.
Amen Thank you Priscilla! I’m 6 yrs in and as the song goes … “I have my good days and my bad days” but overall I truly love my born hair! Another reason why we as African Americans(both women/men) must learn our history because our ancestors were made to feel a certain way a long time ago about our hair … I feel … the nappier … the prettier 💕
I couldn’t have said it better 🫶🏾. Congrats on your 6 years of being natural 🎊 It’s all about being proud of what God blessed us with 🙏🏾 and yes some days can be hard but we are definitely in it for the long term 🫶🏾💫
Sending love to you all the ways from Kigali -Rwanda. I follow you and I really love you! You are an inspiration to this generation. Please plan to come to Kigali . Blessings ❤
Woooow❤! I’m an African lady with thick Black natural hair which I stopped relaxing in February 2019. God saved me from all the burns, headaches, hair breakage, dandruff and stress related to water spilling in my hair and repeating the relaxing routine every after 3 months. Best decision I ever made💫. Presently, I in most cases wear it and braid it just in case I want to change my look a little bit. #NaturalHairMovementGang❤
I can remember going natural in 2003 before it was acceptable. My skin couldn’t handle the chemicals because I had full body eczema and I always would get burns on my scalp. I was taunted by my classmates to the point my mom took me back to the pressing comb. Cheerleading and soccer were difficult for me because my hair would swell at the roots which would prompt the taunting. I am glad that more women have accepted that they are acceptable in all beauty spaces as they are. These days I don’t use anything but water, conditioner, and oil. Occasionally I will blow it out for date night with my husband.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your story and that you’re blessing us with taking care of the hair God gave us!! You’re hair is beautiful and healthy!! Thank you so much for this ❤!!
This is my cue to stop using relaxers as well. For a while now my scalp suffers soo much burns all in the name of using relaxers.😢 I have thought of it once to stop using them but again I think of my natural hair and how painful it is to manage then I succumb. But not anymore, two months to 25, I think it would be the perfect gift for my silver jubilee celebration. Thanks for sharing this video, it has really spoken volumes to me today. I love you Pastor Priscilla Shirer❤
Thank you so much for sharing your natural hair journey and sharing information on how to treat our natural in a healthier manner.....i love you and your transparency ❤️
I’m not ever putting another perm on my hair. Old school hairdresser told me not to just cont to get press and curl of I didn’t listen however now I learned since my hair became damaged it’s growing out so pretty now and I love the texture.❤🙏
Same, I’ve been natural for 8 yrs now and with each passing year I love my natural tresses so much more. It takes consistency and dedication. With time as you learn to find the right haircare products and get necessary trims, your curl pattern will absolutely flourish.😊👩🏾🦱
I've started locs since covid-19 ,cause I was tired of blow drying and flay Ironing my hair so much,,I needed something better,so this journey has been amazing 😊, I am a Hugh fan and I enjoy your teachings and prayers 🙏 Amen 🙏
I absolutely LOVE this testimony! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I always HATED getting my hair permed because my aunt was a cosmologist in the early 80s and my sister and I were here Guinea pigs. As you all know how badly the chemicals alone burn, right? Well picture this: imagine having sea breeze poured onto your scalp to help “soothe” the chemical burns…….OMGOSH!!! I screamed BLOODY MURDER, and was told I was being super dramatic🙄. My hair used to be stuck to my scalp. That’s a feeling I NEVER wanted to feel again. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the last time I had that experience. I went natural in 2011 and bowed to never again get a relaxing.
I was taking a trip to a tropical climate that would mean it would get wet or at least affected by the humidity. I had planned to get braids, but the plan didn't work out. The level of stress it caused was completelu unnecessary because it was beautiful, I was able to get it wet and it helped me to love my hair in its natural state
Amen! I understand all what you are saying, thank you so much for sharing, watching you in a movie and hearing you preach, I always wonder how you grow your hair and your secrets of keeping it so healthy and strong? I have locks now.
Thank you pr Priscilla..am an African from Uganda and was yearning to have long hair..thank God i have natural hair..aint gonna trim it. Am gonna let it grow by the helo of the Holy Spirit ❤
Especially in Texas with the weather it’s best to do protective styles…but also healthy hair starts within..making sure our bodies receive all nutrients. 💜☺️
Her hair is beautiful. I’ve been taking thyroid meds for years, been natural for over 10yrs. I love my natural hair but the meds have thinned out the temple area. I’ve had two consultations to get my hair dyed (reddish brown) but no stylist will touch my hair, due to my hair being medicated. I’ve tried every natural oil now I’m trying Bantana. My endocrinologist suggested a dermatologist for hair a transplant, I’m contemplating. So for now I’m wearing wigs and will continue to see what the Bantana oil does along with a prayer. Great video.
Try boiling guava leaves and use the water to rinse your hair 🔥🔥. Use Mongongo oil and scalp your hair plus some peppermint oil. I pray that 1 Corinthians 11:15 works for you. Love from Zambia 🇿🇲
God bless you Pastor Priscilla you are an inspiration, I have being following you in the last 3yrs ! God bless you for such an educative and life transforming information. I stopped applying hair relaxers to my hairs 2yrs ago , Thank God for the power to break out from that
The fact we had to do regular retouches was evidence our hair was growing. The problem was our inability to RETAIN the growth because of lack of knowledge and frequent and unnecessary cuts or "trims"
I appreciate this video! I always thought that wasn’t your hair. I thought you had extensions of some kind! Thank you for sharing your journey! I can relate on so many points!!!! Continued blessings for your ministry 🙏🏽
Went natural with big chop Feb. 2021. Fall of 2021 chemo took my hair - completely shaved head. I now have shoulder length natural hair. I so regret the chemicals I used but now I thank the Lord for my natural hair and enjoy caring for it.
I did the same thing in Dec 2017, and i never looked back, I felt as though the Lord could see me, i felt liberated as well, my husband was not happy either, I told him i'm not my hair.
Thanks a lot!! My hair is destroy and now after listening to you i think i'm also doing the same for my little girls, praise the lord i fall on your video
If anyone watching this please take care of your good natural hair. We all been through what she’s talking about but over the years I have learn how to take care of my hair and been natural for 6 years now and I love it. Be patient with your hair and learn how to take care of it yourself.
Thank you for your encouragement sis 🙏🏾💕 No matter the texture, no matter the length, no matter the thickness or thinness you said it best your ✨Good natural hair✨. Congrats to you on being 6 years natural 🎊🎉
@@christinecurls praise God! This is is why I create my channel and hopefully all my sisters to embrace their natural hair. Don’t focus on the length so much just take care of your hair and pray about it. I pray about my hair very often because only God can give us strength. Hope everyone have very successful journey on their natural hair.
She reminds me so much of UA-camr, Milami. They both have similar styles. This lady's innocense, on how much more educated we as black women are now, about our natural hair, is so funny and refreshing. We have evolved, thanks to women like her, and others of us sharing our experiences on social media, natural hair publications, and black owned natural hair products. So thankful she shared her beautiful story.
I went thru the same situation but I thank God because spoke to me and asked me ever so gently why you don't like the hair I gave you I put down the chemical and put away my iron and I have never been the same since then thank you for sharing this be cause now I know I am not alone in this
I'm in tears. I was told that I got my first relaxer when I was about 6 years old.😔 I'm glad that the Holy Spirit spoke to me as a young adult, and I've been natural for almost 20 years!

I did the big chop last month and I have less than an inch of hair...I cut it down to the new growth!!! HS spoke to me, no more perms! I love it!!! ❤️

Pray for me i got alopecia send me the prayer please
That’s great!
Amen❤
Yes it was the same with my parents and grandparents. I’m now teaching my child the same thing. I’m Grateful that they instilled in me a lifetime lesson. 💕💕💕💕💕
Lucky for us in South Africa, having short/ bald is not a taboo. In fact some african schools used to encourage short hair
Read 1 Corinthians 11:13-15 you were given long hair by God as a gift for your glory.
@@carolmandi1316 the issue is what God has given you freely no one can take it away. It's in the word of God read it and see what it says
Yes I know that verse
🎉❤❤❤ thanks so much Prisca for your time, helping us see and appreciate who God made us to be . I learnt so much from your teaching,it's an eye opening section you put out here Sister. God bless you 💘💘
But, He’s, so merciful, He helped me grow my hair back, but, my crown is still in process, I’ve been natural, since2008,
Thank you so, much for sharing ❤🙏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾
Thank you! I was debating on relaxing my hair. I will not! I will love my god given curls and learn how to take care of it.
Same here. Found this video on time.
Thank you for this beautiful comment 🥰 Thank God we realized how beautiful our natural hair can be 🙏🏾✨
@joyh2224 This comment is out of love. A black woman's natural hair texture is Curly. We may have heard the term nappy hair coming up, but that is not proper terminology. A black woman's texture is , curly or over curly Priscilla explains the process and description beautifully.
This is such a wholesome conversation ❤
Truth OUR TEMPLE IS NOT OUR OWN, BUT HES AND HOW WE ARE TO TAKE CARE OF OUR TEMPLES
Amen❤
You have TRULY BLESSED me with this video!!!! Blessing upon you for this message, my sister!! I've been natural for over 20 years, and I love it!! This entire message, as you said, speaks to so many areas of our lives. What a needed broadcast!! ❤️ your ministry!!
It was seven girls in our house growing up and we got our hair done from the iron on the stove. We got our hair done for Easter and Christmas, that’s it. We were poor but made it through. I’m 70 years old now and all natural for life. Love it like that! Thanks for sharing this sis.
@@BeHoly333 that's the way it was love this
Thank you for sharing your journey!
@@Florita111love this
Never had a perm been natural all my life 64 years I love my nappy hair so many women are constantly pulling on their hair with all this new Techniques of hair experts that really don't know hair I tell you this can't go wrong going natural it's just the beauty of it no one can convince me to look like another woman I love what God gave me so I take care of my hair.
Thank you so much Priscilla, I watched today and I was battling within my heart whether I should be natural or relax my hair. Thank you
Hallelujah
I told myself last month that i wasn't going to relaxed my hair again but i was kind of worried because i really liked my relaxed hair.
I do Flexi rods and only go to the salon for a blow out. I prefer the curls from the rods more than the blow out though
Amen
Thank you Priscilla!
THANK YOU FOR TELLING US ALL, AGAIN ABOUT THE HAIR AND THE PREACHING.
African hair is beautiful. I am happy I grew up to know this.
I think it’s something beautiful about hair being tucked away in a protective style 😊💕
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your story and that you’re blessing us with taking care of the hair God gave us!! You’re hair is beautiful and healthy!! Thank you so much for this ❤!!
I really appreciated this whole share. So many natural and spiritual revelations. It was lovely and loving. Thank you💜
This is my cue to stop using relaxers as well. For a while now my scalp suffers soo much burns all in the name of using relaxers.😢
I have thought of it once to stop using them but again I think of my natural hair and how painful it is to manage then I succumb. But not anymore, two months to 25, I think it would be the perfect gift for my silver jubilee celebration. Thanks for sharing this video, it has really spoken volumes to me today. I love you Pastor Priscilla Shirer❤
Who watched The Forge in 2024

This is a beautiful testimony! Thank you for sharing.
I have always loved Priscilla's hair
Her hair is gorgeous 🥰
Thanks so much Priscilla.
God Richly Bless You!!!
I love you!!!
This is such a beautiful message. I am truly blessed!
Thank you Lord.
Yes, I have 4c hair!
Thank you so much for sharing your natural hair journey and sharing information on how to treat our natural in a healthier manner.....i love you and your transparency ❤️
This video was a real blessing to me as well. She poured it all out to us and for that I’m so encouraged 🙏🏾
Love your story! Really makes you think about your inner self. Thank you for sharing your story.
Thank you so much, Priscilla. I was thinking that's extention s all along your Dr s very good
I was taking a trip to a tropical climate that would mean it would get wet or at least affected by the humidity. I had planned to get braids, but the plan didn't work out. The level of stress it caused was completelu unnecessary because it was beautiful, I was able to get it wet and it helped me to love my hair in its natural state
This is a dream come true ❤
Yes amen I know about the burn. I got burned so often that I believe it was OK. Thank God am going natural
Thank you for posting this.
You are most welcome 🙏🏾 Thank you for your comment 💫
You've inspired me!!! This is what I'm going through right now!!!
Amen! I understand all what you are saying, thank you so much for sharing, watching you in a movie and hearing you preach, I always wonder how you grow your hair and your secrets of keeping it so healthy and strong? I have locks now.
I am blessed with this video.thank you
This video is indeed a blessing to us all 🙏🏾♥️
Thank you pr Priscilla..am an African from Uganda and was yearning to have long hair..thank God i have natural hair..aint gonna trim it. Am gonna let it grow by the helo of the Holy Spirit ❤
Especially in Texas with the weather it’s best to do protective styles…but also healthy hair starts within..making sure our bodies receive all nutrients. 💜☺️
That’s a fact 👌🏾 What ever you nourriture and take good care off will eventually grow and flourished.
Beautiful message ❤
God bless you Pastor Priscilla you are an inspiration, I have being following you in the last 3yrs ! God bless you for such an educative and life transforming information. I stopped applying hair relaxers to my hairs 2yrs ago , Thank God for the power to break out from that
You have lovely hair, I thank you for this message may God continue to bless you❤
I really enjoyed your story! You encouraged me to continue my natural hair journey! 😊😊😊♥️♥️♥️
She encouraged so many of us to never give up on our natural hair ❤️💫🙏🏾
@@christinecurls Yes she did, but now I'm worried. You used the past tense when you said "encouraged". Is she still living?
@@luwanabennett1054 she is alive and well.
The fact we had to do regular retouches was evidence our hair was growing. The problem was our inability to RETAIN the growth because of lack of knowledge and frequent and unnecessary cuts or "trims"
Omg thank you for saying this about that rain head shower!
She’s such an inspiration to us all 🙏🏾
Love this video❤
I appreciate this video! I always thought that wasn’t your hair. I thought you had extensions of some kind!
Thank you for sharing your journey! I can relate on so many points!!!! Continued blessings for your ministry 🙏🏽
Me in a TWA and learning a lot. She has gorgeous hair! Praying for my hair from today onwards!!
She is such a blessing ❤
Indeed she is 🙏🏾💫
When the chemotherapy took my hair out in 2011 and once it grew back, I haven't had a relaxer or any heat on it. Stayed natural and will stay natural.
I’ve always thought she had the most beautiful hair!
So do I 🥰🙏🏾✨
Am glad watching this. I have always had long hair but chemical did me wrong.. presently am on natural hair, I wear wig too but I love my afro hair.
I can watch and listen to Priscilla teach about taking care of your hair or the Word of God over and over.
Me too :) All day everyday.
Interesting Pricillia, glad for the info
I went thru the same situation but I thank God because spoke to me and asked me ever so gently why you don't like the hair I gave you I put down the chemical and put away my iron and I have never been the same since then thank you for sharing this be cause now I know I am not alone in this
Always love listening to you. ❤
