The first informed conversation I have seen on this incident. Tim Kennedy is the first person I have seen explaining the likely Rules of Engagement & Range Cards from a SME perspective. Well done
How did a 20 year old socially inept kid outsmart the Secret Service, Sheriff's dept, local police, and tip toe past a building full of police and set up a sniper post on top of the police 'counter sniper' position?
Wow, I wasn't planning of spending an hour of my life watching some special force guy on a you tube channel but Tim is the real deal and I'm glad I did. Very educational
Best explanation so far. About Trump - while I was going to college in NYC in early 80's is when I first got to know of him and how he cleaned up seedy 42nd street. The violence and all were pretty bad then. His character raising his fist with 'Fight, Fight, Fight' I already kind of knew. It was hard trying to explain things about Trump decades later to people who just hates him not knowing the full story and regard him as a buffoon. And yes he's 'built differently' and I regard him as a maverick - like Howard Hughes, Ernest Hemingway. All great American men.
The Director of the Secret Service said they didn't post snipers on the roof the kid shot from because it was a sloped roof and a safety hazard for personnel. Unreal.
The roof of my own home has a near identical pitch. I climb onto my roof several times a year to remove leaves from my gutters. Never once have I felt unsafe or unstable on that surface. I am however astonished that the director would use the “too dangerous” excuse. She is breathtaking in her attempt to fob such a weak excuse at us.
In answer to your question, the Secret Service Chief is a Jill Biden favorite; of course, first, not qualified to hold the job, and second a woman. You cannot have a woman Secret Service Chief. Notice how she hasn’t been fired. The Dem-Left is practicing its usual, no accountability.
Great show. One of the greatest bravest heroes of World War II was a gorgeous tiny British/French SOE woman named Violet Szabo. She was parachuted into France ahead of the Normandy invasion. Also the most feared spy in WW2 was one legged American spy Virginia Hall who Nazis' named the "limping lady". She escaped from France by walking over the Pyrenees mountains. Oh and two Dutch teenaged girls who repeatedly lured Nazi officers into forest and dispatched them. Also the most decorated soldier in World War II was Audie Murphy 5 ft tall. As Teddy Roosevelt said it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.
MOST EXCELLENT ANALYSIS! Absolutely the best anywhere. Thanks Tim! Thanks Chris! I've listened to dozens at least. You can really, absolutely tell when someone really, absolutely knows what they are talking about because they have really, absolutely done it themselves. For Real!
Heard someone say where is the evidence of a conspiracy... my only thought is, you dont think that Empty roof was enough evidence? Incompetence on that level is compliance
This is like day 6 of sniper school, building a range card! This was insane, as a sniper/instructor for 20+ years. It was a 150yd shot, you could make with your eyes closed. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. The ICS system was developed decades ago to de-conflict local/state/Fed commication issues.
decades ago . Wow. yeah I have heard a few times over past yrs that comms issues were addressed after 9/11 b/c it was such a big factor. I used to think it was talking about the intelligence side/info sharing but I guess it applies to comms in field as well? I think I remember something about police/fire/govn't agencies not being able to coordinate on day of attack 9/11
This is why podcasts are valuable: bring on someone who actually knows what the fuck they're talking about for an HOUR instead of minutes. Thanks for the informing pod
As former state level LEO I was shocked by what I saw. I left my job 13 years ago because I started thinking the criminals I was investigating had more morals than my command staff. Don’t even get me started on how the police hiring standards are incredibly low now compared to when I entered.
On the assessment part that you talked about, I’m in full agreement of your statement. I personally have seen a 98LB female complete a physical function 300LB male could not to pass a physical requirement to obtain an open job position and was the person in evaluating the physical part. The male applicant stated that he could not complete the task and that it was a two-man job and I had to call in a 98LB experienced Skinny 5,5’ female to demonstrate that this could be done by one person to drive home it can be done to give that male an opportunity to complete the physical task and he refused and therefore was not hired. I am confident in this statement that if a smaller female had the wherewithal and the training with experience would have brought Trump down onto the deck immediately hi whatever means necessary while all the other agents were still getting them that would reduce the field of fire vulnerability of Trump getting hit while the other agents were still arriving by creating as much cover as possible during a shooting event by whatever means necessary in my mind is the primary objective and male nor female is irrelevant in this, would you not agree?
Tim has made so many great points. I have zero tactical knowledge, and I was thinking the security team looked more panicked than Trump. I love the insight Tim brings to this situation. Much appreciated
The question I’m seeing no one ask on these deconstruction videos is: why the hell was Trump left speaking on stage for 4 minutes knowing there was an imminent threat?
Ran into Tim Kennedy out shopping here in the Austin area. I said hi and mentioned my father was a Vet of Vietnam War and the first Iraq war and I was a fan. He's one of the nicest guys and the personality you see here is all him.
As a Marine I am one that disagrees with females in combat roles- why because most females can’t handle combat. The secret service women that were assigned to the detail for President Trump proves this.
37:00 As the proud owner of a Barrett M107 chambered in .50bmg I can confidently say that it will do absolutely ZERO damage if the projectile itself does not make physical contact with the target. The crack of the projectile breaking the sound barrier will probably ring your eardrum if it’s close enough but other than that it will do no damage.
Yeah man, Former infantryman here.. i got mad respect for my brethren in arms especially those that have the level of training this man does however… he loses so much credibility for talking out of his ass like that… i genuinely find motivation from these guys but that statement right there had me smh…
I just watched a guy prove it on UA-cam with 3 white claws 2 in front 1 in back with a can space in between….the back one blew up a piece of tipped one of the other cans over the other one didn’t even move lol
As a female construction worker. I 💯% agree with what TK said about DEI. If you can do it great. If you cannot we should not lower standards. Outliers are outliers. You don’t pick a quota like 30% female or any other minority. Who is most qualified? That is fair, honest and safe for everyone. It’s insulting to the minorities who do have what it takes. Great episode. Thank you.
In my lifetime I’ve met one woman steel worker. We played on the same women’s soccer team years ago. She worked the shipyards and construction in Portland Oregon. She said her union boss asked her why their campaign to recruit more women was failing, and how they could improve it to welcome more women into their union. She said it’s mainly that not that many women are interested in becoming steel workers. Also, as you say, you have to be able to physically and safely do the work. She said great money, when they had work.
Exactly. Feminism was supposed to be about equal opportunity, not forced diversity for the sake of being diverse. The best man or woman for each and every job, period. That’s how a nation functions at its full potential
As he pointed out, a sniper's first responsibility is observation not shooting. The most disturbing aspect of all this isn't why they didn't shoot sooner. It's their apparent failure to signal SS on the ground to get the President offstage during the minutes leading up to the shooting.
They are saying that without a rifle in sight, they couldn't be sure he was an active threat. But if communication was as it should have been, they would have known from the officer who climbed the ladder that the suspect DID have a gun. Do they need to see it, or simply know it exists? Apparently the former. That all being said, the rifle had to be visible for at least 4-5 seconds as he set up for his shot and then fired 5/6 times. So the whole point is mute. Those snipers should have fired after 1-2 seconds of it being visible. Not wincing from the audible gunshots and then reacting.
Thank you for your explanation. I highly suspect that whoever mapouts out the security forTrump is either incompetent or sloppy by design. Someone wants to take out or disable him badly ????
@@ClayAsbury122that’s the issue. They were informed initially that the building was secure and then somewhere the communication between groups broke down. It is reasonable to assume that they wouldn’t know for sure if this was a credible threat or another LEO taking up a position. Trust me it’s a sticky situation. In Iraq we had ROEs where we could not shoot unless shot at which put us at a severe disadvantage. This is just how the US govt rolls and unfortunately people pay the price for it.
The saddest thing, seeing this 2 weeks later, is how the media has memory holed this story. They WILL NOT let this be a contributing factor in the public’s opinion. WE CAN NOT FORGET
Fascinating..It would be such an honor to just sit and quietly listen to these special forces vets tell war stories. As a former SEAL with very similar experiences, thank God someone with a bigger soap box than me is voicing my exact thoughts. Thank you, Kennedy! DEI only works if standards are NOT lowered or as the woke say, “adjusted”.
As a female veteran, I concur that there should not even be different physical fitness standards for males and females. You either have what it takes or you don't. It's not a matter of privilege but a matter of national security!
@@karolinaska6836You're right about that!!! Several of the females that I served with told me they refused to use adjusted standards & followed the men's standards! Made me proud!!!

I’m a 71 year old Marine and I couldn’t phantom the level of incompetence I saw on Saturday. Thank God our prayers were answered that protect President Trump. Enjoyed the discussion between the two of you! Keep up the great content! God bless.
So a guy climbing over his secret service detail trying to protect him is admirable? If a second shot came from some where and hit him, you’d blame the protection detail. It was obvious he wasn’t listening to them. Saying,” Wait! Wait!” To the people trying to whisk him away.
If you listen, you can hear the police yelling the shooter is down, shooter is down!! Thats why Trump felt it was ok to get up. I also believe it is Trump saying Wait, wait as he wanted to grab his shoes!!
I read somewhere the cop was boosted by another to grab the roof edge to pull up and peek over. Gunman pointed his rifle at him and cop fell injuring himself. The cops called in after the fall.
One of THE best takes on the events. I'm impressed at how little we regular folk will never understand what it means to be this type of expert. It's important to hear the truth. Bro is solid. The mainstream media need to hear this.
I find him incredibly annoying and he's not giving any insight. Don't think I can finish watching this. The machismo and over emotionality, and he doesn't answer the questions directly. Doesn't seem like someone who would be calm cool and collected in the face of a tense situation.
@@darianbalcom8777 I understand completely how you could think that and the knee-jerk recoil from the machismo but imagine if you were in a life or death situation and you could pick Tim or one of the female SS agents on the stage with Trump last Saturday. Who would you pick? You don’t have to like the person to make the smart choice. The man knows his job inside and out, likely with the same competency and minutia detail that you know your own. Military needs these type of abrasive personality people 🤷♂
Rarely have I come upon such an intelligent discussion. I was riveted by the whole thing. Extremely well thought out and incisive questions and a fascinating guest with not only incredible knowledge, but very eloquent and well spoken. Fabulous content. Well done!
Shooter bought the ladder at Home Depot, a mile away, before he had setup his climb to the roof. Crowd audience reported to police the shooter on the roof. So much went missed here..communication and the shooter bought ammo also near HOME DEPOT from a gun shop.
One of my first thoughts about the Mr. Trump Deletion attempt, was who were the people in charge outside his campaign, responsible for making decisions for his safety? Next, is there possibly anything suspicious behind the curtain, a smoking pew-pew so to speak. 🤔 My next assumption was, the individuals who have the most to lose are the people in charge: Mr. BRIBED-DONE, Executive Branch; DHS Secretary, Mr. Mayorkas; Director of U.S.S.S.S.; Ms. Kimberly Cheatle. They are all likely going to be replaced if Mr. Trump is elected. The following are on the Hot-Seat: Obviously, Mr. BRIBED-DONE;😉 Very Likely Mr. Mayorkas, continued unmitigated failure in his position; somewhat likely Ms. Cheatle; though after the Trump deletion attempt, more likely. I said; more likely, because, Mr. Trump did nothing with, Mrs. Clinton after her intentional injurious & misguided failures.😊 Oh, I just found that, Ms. Cheatle, worked on Mr. BRIBED-DONE’s VP Secret Service Detail During Mr. Obama’s administration. 😮 I wonder if she has a “Conflict of Interest?” Nah, she is just as professional as the other Department heads in this Mr. BRIBED-DONE administration,(Executive Branch), like the DOJ.😉 🤭 🤭
Thank you for the clear and concise discussion on this matter. As a veteran, I can tell you my goal was always the “men’s” version of every test or die trying. I used to scream at women who did the 80% effort of their requirements BS. I screamed “you are the reason women aren’t taken seriously.” I demanded of myself every day, I will not be the reason anyone dies or gets hurt. I can be mushy as a marshmallow as a wife and mother but as my service spouse said to anyone who would listen “she is hard as Christmas candy” as a soldier. I didn’t know he did this until after I had left the service. It is the best compliment ever. DEI = Did not EARN it.
This is also a lot better than the interview with Mike Baker that he did yesterday! Mike Baker definitely showed his true colours yesterday and that he is still with the CIA
But its not, you never take any of these podcasts as 100% fact or trustworthy. They were and now majority all have some angle or advertisers etc to please so they are not much different at this stage of the game.. He doesn't push back on people very much and the likes of Tim who talks 'a lot' shall we say.. you can enjoy it but you don;t just take it all in at face value without questioning it
Epic episode. This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen - let your expert guest do the talking and ask the right questions at the right time. Kudos, Chris - this is next level.
I have been avoiding this topic since it happened because I don't trust the US media. This answered a lot of the questions I had. Tim and Chris did a great job keeping it clear and easy to understand. Thank you for this.
Same here. 🤫 Japanese media cannot be trusted as well. So I am here to looking for more inforamation. Is it all same around the world in these days? (LOL)
Many of us feel the same, especially when initial _media_ reported that President Trump fell and was helped offstage! Pods like this are why the MSM and big-tech discredit, suppress, outright ban, or even destroy the content creators (financially, etc.) and guests.

28:39 i think the issue here with this complaint, the sniper team on the north side has a tree in the line of sight and it was the South team that had the line of sight but wasn't fixated on the point.
The snipers would have *had* to see the rifle. The rifle had to be over the crest of the roof for the kid to see Trump through his scope, and it would have taken the kid at least a few seconds to get Trump in the crosshairs. Both snipers were facing the roof the kid was on. All this multiple minutes after people are telling the police the kid was on the roof. Pretty damn fishy.
Have a close friend who worked for USSS. The agency is riddled with problems and retention issues. There’s a reason why USSS is rated one of the worst places to work in the federal government.
Social security admin is rated the worst Then DHS Then DoJ Then State department and Department of the Navy are tied Secret service seems to actually be ranked above average …. It if you’re in the middle of a colonoscopy go ahead and pull out anything else you’d like to add
@@BlackOpMercyGaming USSS has the tendency to overwork their personnel, because of staffing shortages. From what I’ve been told people have also had their leave cancelled. I won’t post the number of personnel leaving, but I’ve been told it’s in the ballpark of high double digits per month. So while they can graduate a class, 1 class or more of people is leaving the same month.
@@EndlngAnthem Okay, let's do some math here. There are 7800 people working in the Secret Service. Your figure "double digits" sounds sexy, but it's not a factual number. Let's say between 10 and 99 people are leaving per month, which would be between 0.12% and 1.2%. Gasp! It's a stampede! I presume the average agent retires after 20 years service, and they are evenly distributed in age. That means 130 retire per month, and that's assuming nobody quits earlier than that because of the tough effects of this job on family life, etc.
@@dougerrohmer lol are you an employee? 7800 people is the entire agency. There’s only about 3200 agents and 1300 police officers. All of the officers are in DC and the agents are spread across the U.S. It’s widely known there’s retention issues and it’s obviously impacting agency performance.

I love this talk better than those who are professional journalists who always seem to be biased one way or another. In other words you guys are genuine. Please don’t change
That’s a pity. But you’re right. Professional investigative journalists would have to found their claims in research and facts - which is something this guy isn’t doing an inch of. He’s got field experience, great - but this all falls into the category of opinion. And very much BIASED opinion at that; not even a whiff of objectivity on display here. Podcasts like this very clearly demonstrate that this is talk radio with pictures, at best.
Thank you this it’s been a fantastic watch, I never got bored once, never fast forwarded it once, all the way through I enjoyed every second of it and I learned so much, I’m an English muddle same as Chris but I’ve watched Tim on some of podcasts and I always love to hear him, but I’ve seen a lot of others that have done this same topic but this by far the most interesting watch to date.
Whatever the dog you may have for the fight, I’m not secure being covered by a 5”6 person when I’m 6”3.

In my lifetime I’ve met one woman steel worker. We played on the same women’s soccer team years ago. She worked the shipyards and construction in Portland Oregon. For centuries, men have protected women, not the other way around.

Think God protected Trump - He knew that Trump would be vulnerable, and got him to focus on a chart to his right.
Competence is paramount with no bias towards individuals.

One of my first thoughts about the Mr. Trump Deletion attempt, was who were the people in charge outside his campaign, responsible for making decisions for his safety?
Next, is there possibly anything suspicious behind the curtain, a smoking pew-pew so to speak. 🤔
My next assumption was, the individuals who have the most to lose are the people in charge: Mr. BRIBED-DONE, Executive Branch;
DHS Secretary, Mr. Mayorkas;
Director of U.S.S.S.S.; Ms. Kimberly Cheatle.
They are all likely going to be replaced if Mr. Trump is elected.
The following are on the Hot-Seat: Obviously, Mr. BRIBED-DONE;😉
Very Likely Mr. Mayorkas, continued unmitigated failure in his position; somewhat likely Ms. Cheatle; though after the Trump deletion attempt, more likely.
I said; more likely, because, Mr. Trump did nothing with, Mrs. Clinton after her intentional injurious & misguided failures.😊

@@BarrackObamnathis just change my life! I am a remote podcaster too and this will improve my audio so much, thank you
@@hemmasittarpodden I’m sure there’s software that does this automatically too it could be that
This was an EXCELLENT podcast. You asked virtually every question I was wondering and this is the only discussion I've seen so far that walks through all parts of the operation.
He is wrong about the ladder. The ladder is not fixed it was brought and put there. It's clearly visible in the helicopter video from sky news. Go to Google maps and you can see no fixed ladder.
4 women on the security detail is insane
Also thank God for the Internet!!! We had 3 networks for information !! I’m watching everything on the independent channels here. Great job! Thank you 🙏 ❤
I love this talk better than those who are professional journalists who always seem to be biased one way or another.
Thank you for having on a professional to analyze all of the aspects of how things went versus how things should have gone.
But I would like to hear more of the short I watched Tim talking about the time he went on tv giving his address out because some people were trying to find him i do recall him saying he regretted it only because it stopped the people coming for him that he frightened them off. He is a great guy.
