Like BC once said, real estate is not a friendship business. It’s just a business. Doctors and lawyers don’t try to become your friend when you work with them. So personality doesn't matter. As long as you successfully help clients buy or sell homes, you did your job.
There is not “one” personality that will attract every referral. My personality attracts some clients and offends others. You don’t need to change your ways for anyone.
@@tyronesmith3812 all depends how good of an agent you want to be. You want to show up and say jack shit to your potential client? They’ll probably drop you like a fly. Now if you’re a part timer just doing it for kicks then be however you want Tyrone
@@tyronesmith3812 I’m not sure we’re talking about the same profession here. I’m talking about being a real estate agent. You drop half your sellers? Lol.
You are part of our family, that's why you feel so comfortable with us. But I still love your first videos, especially that one you're role playing alone with your eyes veiled! I can't wait to put into practice everything I'm learning with you!!!
Loida, this was incredibly inspiring. I myself am an introvert, which is odd considering I'm a teacher and counselor. I tell my students all the time that the only time I'm an extrovert is at work because I have to be. I'm planning on leaving education and possibly getting into real estate, and this video made me realize I can probably do it. Heck, agents are "educating" and "counseling" their clients when working with them. Teachers work with all personality types, the staff and students personalities. Teachers set up class rooms all the time, surely we can set up homes for viewings too. We market ourselves essentially as we give an education too. And, we do cold calls all the time to parents and guardians. The more I think about it, the more I think it can be a good transition! What do you think?
Hi Loida How do i get more information about the next bootcamp and do you think the bootcamp is relevant for agents across the globe or only for the states?
The bootcamp is now a self guided course and you can sign up and get access to it immediately. Everything I teach can easily be applied anywhere as its skills based. You can sign up at www.newinrealestate.com
@@LoidaVelasquez LOL, I used to see them at many events that’s why I bought maybe it was. The other is Monster Energy drinks. Fun times at the events, always! Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Feliz Año Nuevo!
You are an inspiration ! Thank you for sharing that us introverts can make it in this extrovert dominated world
Yesss! You’re welcome!💕🙌🏽

A personality will help with referrals You don’t have to be a dead fish.

I drop half the sellers I deal with before I hire them

I’m not shy, I’m reserved. I think that’s a better word for it.
