Funny, I am currently in book 9 of The Wheel of Time and I was looking for some video on Lore so I can complement more the story. I found your part 1 video yesterday so I watched all and love it! Now, today while I have my breakfast I am watching the video and then realize it has just been uploaded and then notice that part 1 was from 2 years ago xd perfect timing xd thanks for the content! You're one of the best UA-camrs out there, man. So serious. Thanks for all the incredible work you do for us, it's much appreciated. As are you, as a person! Looking forward to literally anything you do ❤
Great video but I didn't see any functions holomorphic to D except in some isolated points as the channel advertised. Does the complex plain appear in New Spring?
Your manner of story telling is captivating, hopefully this video gets some traction and we can be blessed by a full summary of the events within the books.
Also, I'd like to see a history lesson for Fiest's Rift War Saga. There are at least three seeperate sieries of books in that one. Or Xanth you could have a lot of fun with that. Sorry, I love fantasy worlds and always want more.
Looking forward to the next part of the series in 2026/2027. How long do you plan the series to run? I do have to leave this mortal coil one day and reading the series may be faster. I joke, take your time. Better reason for me to live forever, although if you did only cover a volume of the story every 2 years I probably won't get to see them all. God, middle age is depressing. By this point I am just hoping I'm right and my 40's ARE my middle age years. Thanks for the great content, now off to go watch this part with what little time I may, or may not, have left.
@@Meromorphic Frees up time for funeral planning. And it's never the final part. If I know anything about fantasy breakdowns something will compel you to revisit it eventually. Something you want to cover more in depth or might have overlooked or because the views were great. Keep up the great work in the mean time. If you are looking for something new to cover that could last forever, be really popular, and attract new viewers then cover Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld.
Was Aemon Al Thor who Rand saw himself as in book 2 while using the portal stones? I was amazed at how many lives Rand saw himself living but the one where he is in Elayne’s kings guard was one that stood out to me.
No, he was himself in the future...the Seanchan were the world's "new masters", and the trollocs attacked and drove them back. Rand was himself going with the other 2 rivers folk to fight the trollocs at taren farrey crossing.
Fantastic video, friend. I am one of those newcomers to the Wheel of Time franchise. I bought all the novels back in 2020 as i was getting into fantasy fiction but i onky started reading this year. Finished Eye of the World and now on The Great Hunt. Your lore vids are great and a real help and fun time for me👍 just one nitpick i wanted to mention. That part about the Seat betraying Menetheren due to jealousy of theor Queen is not unrealistic or some bad moment of "Man writing women". It's pretty coomon even in our real life. Women are just as flawed as men and give in to the same emotional vices, like men also do.
Point of correction, the city of Rhuidean was built after the Aiel entered the waste which was at least a century after the end of the breaking of the world.
Hey, Meromorphic, I just finished your Moral Orel video and I absolutely loved it! But I do have a request: do you think you could take a look at Night in The Woods or Fall of Porcupine? Both revolve around small seemingly innocent small towns with a lurking secret behind it all that you piece together while you hang out with your friends! I'd love to hear a commentary on them, especially Fall of Porcupine (really is sad imo that such a fun game that released last year is seemingly forgotten)
@@Meromorphic Fall of Porcupine is similar in gameplay, art style, and in the fact it has an amazing soundtrack. Please check it out, it's definitely vid worthy imo!
@@Meromorphic The game is about Finley, a doctor for a small town and the elements of the game revolve around loss, grief, blaming yourself for things out of your control, mob mentality, and so much more. It's definitely worth a video, especially since even though it came out last year not a lot of people have gone over it...
@1:30 I could swear that the narrator said that Manatheren was "A thorn in the dark one's BUTT"... (Even though I know it is 'foot' in the book...) I REALLY hope that was intentional, and not just my misinterpretation of the narration. (Y'know when you see or hear something and cannot un-see/un-hear it? It's better that way anyway!) Great vid- CHEERS! 😆
Great video, though I could have done without the snarky remarks about the author and naming of characters and locations. Very informative and thoroughly researched. Thanks for sharing
why do you feel the need to qualify evils done by female characters as being due to “men writing women?” There are as many if not more evil male characters in the WoT. The point was to explore good and evil and how each effect both sexes. Yeah, each sex is capable of evil and, yes, there have been women who have betrayed for even less then vain glory. You didnt qualify whilst describing the jealous male forsaken who betrayed Lews Therin, but felt the need to do so once the betrayer was a woman. I think that is bizarre. Women are not morally superior to men. The story was about how the men and women of the light overcome darkness, not about men vs women in general. Just such a weird ass community ever since the amazon show butchered the story. Seems like most fans have yet to grasp the heart of the Wheel of Time.
These moments, as well as a few lore mistakes, were the only low points of the video. It feels a little pandering towards the Show Only crowd. If you're here reading this and you have only the show to go off of, I want to welcome you to the Wheel of Time and Encourage you to read the books or Listen to the Audiobooks (Those Voiced by Kate Reading and her husband Michael Kramer). I want you to experience the story and characters the show cast aside so they could bludgeon you with their own message. I want you to see first hand the story they thought they could tell better. The themes that they thought wouldn't resonate with you.

This was awesome! Loved the graphics and music, r 27:49 eally brought the commentary to life!
Great job Mero
Glad youre back and also escaped the treadmill of destiny content.
Thanks!
I loved your destiny content. I also love your other content. I'd like to see both continue!
Such a great video!!! Thank you for your time and effort!!!
So stoked for the follow up vid. Ty! ❤
The Fall of Manetheren is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read.

That Menethren narration left me in tears while I'm having my morning coffee. How dare you.
These videos are really good! Thank you so much for all of this :D
It’s about time!! 🤣 Love ya bud
Thanks for the content as always
Thanks for watching!

I just found your channel. I enjoyed this video. I never had a head canon of Moiraine speaking with vocal fry, though.

This is sooooo coooooollll
Janduin and Shaiel were not married
She would not put aside the spear
Great job
Janduin and Shaiel never married. To do so would mean Shaiel would have to stop being a Maiden of the spear.
Finally🎉
We need more❤
