Can we talk about this audio though? How easy listening this is? This is like, the Bob Ross of rig building. No yelling and blaring music. Just a dude, passion, and a camera. Well done!
Thank you. I hope to be a model of complete ignorance. Everyone else on UA-cam seems to know what they're doing, or at least fake it well. There was a great video I watched about how the danger of this camera is it's price. It's approachable, yet it still is a cinema camera, meaning it's not designed to be user friendly. It's designed to produce the absolute best image trading off everything else.
@@DanielHoang I agree, the market is plentiful with good cameras. I have been wanting an S6 since the days I had the E2 & E2C. Always been a fan of the color and dynamic range of Z cam and how involved the engineers and owner is to the consumers on FB.
@@VidHeadz my purchase decision pretty much was on the nimbleness and community built in. It’s amazing to have that type of support vs all built out tech specs.
I love your setup. It looks very practical and so simple. I am still thinking whether I should get the Z-back or not. I like how cables are protected but the additional length is something I am not so sure about.
About time to do an update rig soon! I got the Nucleus Nano coming tomorrow. I realized that when I want to film myself, having wireless gives me the ability to nail focus without having to go back and forth.
@@randrmedia8338 why do you need so much power or distance? I think for most use cases the nano is perfect. Only advantage I see is that the motor is wireless. However, this can be also a disadvantage. I have the tilta side handle which controls the nano. If everything was wireless, you would need to swap so many batteries. In my setup I have a big battery in my handgrip and this is the only one I need to change.
Spray paint, although I’ve seen some options for powder paint. I sanded the factory finish to scuff it up a bit, two coats, let dry, and then sanded the edges a bit to give it a broken in look.
Love this vid, huge push for me to get the S6 - wondering if you have a moment to help me with a question Daniel? I feel as though my S6 is very warm color temp wise, have you had same feeling? Here's an example of me playing around w white balance: ua-cam.com/video/Qr6obadIGM0/v-deo.html

Thank you friend. That means a lot. I’ll double down on that approach from here on out.
So true!!
Love your video title because I've had my eye on this camera to learn videography but also have zero idea what I'm doing :)

I'm on the fence with buying a flag ship Z Cam. Nice rig bro!
Thanks. It’s a tough decision with so many good cameras on the market.

I currently took off the z-back for a lighter setup. When I did my paid gig, the big rig made a better impression.
Which V mount did you connect
Great video!
Thank you, trying to up my game this year.
at 11:37 How long did it take you to find that Allen wrench? :P
Question is how long did it take me to find the tiny screw when I dropped it!
You'll need a follow focus :D Otherwise stunning rig!

@@DanielHoang I suggest the iKan PDMOVIE Air 2 way better no wires and more powerful than Nucleus nano !!

Hey, mate. What tripod are you using for your Z Cam rig?
Thanks for coming by. I’m using the Manfrotto 635 Fast tripod legs. It’s overkill for my small setups but perfect when I’m fully rigged out.
nice bro:) con grats )
Thank you! I’m learning lots are now starting to actually know what I’m doing.

Awesome! I left a comment but also suggest checking in with the zcam Facebook group. There’s a lot of smarter people there.
