I just found this video and it helped me with the setup of the ZCam E2. Sad to see you leaving for Sony but just wanted to say thanks and hopefully you will be back to ZCam in the future.
So glad I could help! I am in full swing of using my sonys now. My job has become easier but I miss the image of z cam so much! I’m looking forward to what they have up their sleeve down the road.
Yoooooo this video was so clutch man!!! So much value here. I do have to wait until I get my grip before changing all these settings because it's near impossible to change them now. Keep crushing it.
I definitely agree. If you want to try a cheaper route to adjust exposure, pick up a variable ND filter from Gobe. That way you hopefully won't be messing with shutter or ISO as much. You could try setting the function buttons as specific white balances too. Thanks for the kind words!
@@HaydenGoldsworthy Yeah I have two eNDs on order and a couple of VNDs that I sue on the reg. My main thing is getting the grip because that will free up so many buttons. I do like the profile suggestion because it is so much better. I never thought of that. Thanks
I took your advice and purchased a Clutch, so glad I did! Thank you! This thing is amazing. I’m very new to this world, and learning more every day. I mostly shoot outside and move around a lot, so the light is always changing. With all my exposure tools available by my thumb and one finger( I have the eND ) and learning to use false color in the Zcam app, I think I’m starting to expedite this learning curve. Thanks again
Hi and congratulations for the video. I have to buy a Zcam e2 4k. What accessories do you recommend to buy to get started? Can you give me the links of the articles? Thanks.
Quick question, why set sharpness to weak? I did some tests and setting it to strong seems to worsen the noise a little bit, but when you expose right it definitely improves the image quality.
Really like this format of tutorial man! Great stuff. I'm interested in possibly upgrading from my GH4 to the Zcam E2 mft. This compared to the BMPCC 4k... I like the smaller form factor for gimbal purposes.
Not in the “anamorphic” mode, but I didn’t have much issue shooting in 16:9 on an S6 and shooting slow motion. This works well since the lens is made more MFT sensors and the 16:9 in the S6 will crop in more. You’ll have a bit more vignetting and less room to work with in post for composition - but it’s great!
Great Video Hayden thanks for this. You skipped over variable frame rates in settings and I was wondering is there an option to change frame rates by single digits so for example could I shoot 33 frames? Love to know!
Oh boy, I'm not too sure tbh. I think you actually can but I would prefer to shoot 48 or 60 and then slow down to a specific percentage matching the equivalent of 33fps.
Hey there! I would recommend using a Sigma 18-35 :) Visit my kit (located in the description) and check out my s6 setup! I'll be making a video about my favorite lenses in the very near future.
Hey! So I'm normally a one-man show on a lot of my shoots, and some of them are really fast-paced. Do you think this camera works well for gigs like sports shooting and weddings?
Man,the content is gold... Where are the subscribers?!?!?!?! I love my F6
Best and most honest Chanel for E2 cams. 🎉. Great work.

Duuuude you’re gonna have a sick setup! Definitely takes some rigging but well worth it!
@@TristanBarrocks What's the word on the Clutch V2?
dang, this was super helpful man. so many quick hacks that I didn't know, like that white balance hold tip! Thanks Hayden!
Yessss. Glad you found it beneficial!
As a newb appreciate this, please keep it coming.
one of the best videos I've seen on this camera, thanks man
Appreciate it, Will! Glad you enjoyed it!
Man, this is awesome. Been eyeing the Z Cam and this was great.
This video is very informative. Thank you!
Great video, I cancelled my a7siii and went with the s6, still waiting on the cage but already loving the camera so far.
Congratulations on your cam! It’s so much more fun and rewarding than a typical mirrorless!
Great tips on the profiles. Excellent.
Your set is so pretty! Seriously. I love it. Great job man!
Cody! Thanks for noticing the small details like that. You're the best!
Hayden Goldsworthy Nah, dats you!
Dope content man! Excited to see it in action this weekend!
Thanks dude! We gonna kill it!
Great video, would you share the info about that interactive grip handel, thank you
subscribed! quality stuff here!
Hey does the ZCam have a manual white balance option which you can use with a grey card to set white balance?
Yes, by default you hold F3 button for 1+ second in WB manual mode and it will measure and update WB to the actual value.
here from the group :) keep up the good work! awesome video
Thank you :)
How do you set the one push white balance?

instablaster...
Hey, how is focusing when using your iPhone? can you enable focus peaking so you can see when things are in focus? thanks!
Can I follow these steps with the portkeys bm5-ii 5.2" touchscreen camera monitor??
I found the right video - what’s the iPhone mount you use?
It's some cheapo tripod adapter for phones that I got from a walmart tripod lol.
Man this was very informative. Thanks!
solid breakdown bro! I have subbed!
Thanks dude, love your content by the way!
Awesome video! Subscribed!!!
Thanks for the sub!
That's a great backdrop. You couldn't have made a better vid!
Thank you Ben!!!
I like your work. Great stuff.
Thanks Kinson! Your work is pretty great too ;)

hi you mentioned using a tablet as a source monitor do you know what tablets are compatible?
iPad mini from version 5 works fine.
With native ISO at 400 what nd filters are you using to be able to shoot 24p 180d shutter angle in daylight?
Quick question, why set sharpness to weak? I did some tests and setting it to strong seems to worsen the noise a little bit, but when you expose right it definitely improves the image quality.
so sorry for the delay on this friend, literally over a year! You can always add sharpness in post, but not remove it :)
Such a helpful video! Thank you!

Hey could you do a video breaking down your rig?
Stay tuned, that's next up :)
Hayden Goldsworthy guess I’ll subscribe then :)
is it currently not possible to film in slowmo with anamorphic?

Hi, and congratulations for the tutorial!
I would like to buy the e2-s6: which lens do you recommend as the first equipment ?
Thank you.

Hey! So I'm normally a one-man show on a lot of my shoots, and some of them are really fast-paced. Do you think this camera works well for gigs like sports shooting and weddings?
I think it would be perfect for that! I am a one man show as well and it's been sooooo good for me! I highly recommend it :)
@@HaydenGoldsworthy Thank you so much! An excellent channel, you've earned a sub!
I saw your Z cam screen getting dimmer as well when you lowered the ISO. Is that an issue?
Just noticed that! That's actually the shutter speed from that camera angle causing that issue -- nothing to do with the z cam. Good eye ;)
There's an android app for the camera?
Also have used Zraw yet and how is the camera in low light
I don't use ZRAW as it doesn't fit my workflow. The camera is superb in low light -- it's the least of my concerns.
Android app exists and pretty good as well, but iOS version more polished.
Quick note: My monitor had to be switched off in order to enable the OSD. 😄
👏👏👏👏👏
