I hope the girls understand that America is a massively huge country with many, many, many different cultures and styles within each and every city and region. For example, we do have schools that require uniforms as well as one's that don't, and there is no such thing as a "typical" american outfit. You can find a vast array of styles (including asian styles) anywhere you look in the US.
Yeah like I don’t think they realize their country is only 100,000km2 while the US and many countries are a lot bigger 💀
@@hayden6713 Well, I think knowing it on paper and grasping it in-person are very different.
That's true but I think it's a given that the video is referring to pop culture. The same goes for South Korea or any other country
Yup I wore a uniform from kindergarten and all throughout high school so it differs
i've gone clubbing in different places in the US, and most girls dress the same lmao... including me kldsnvalskndc
Is it me or Cha Cha just SLAYS every outfit she doesn’t like too much?😂
She really does.
All four of them do. It's impressive.
If I'm being honest, she was probably the one who had the hardest time fitting into the outfits of the others. The other 3 could kind of pull off their respective partner's outfits.
The yellow dress is so pretty on both of them! I think I'd see someone wear it to a wedding rather than clubbing here in Ireland. Loved hearing everyones opinions and perspectives!
I think it depends on where and what type of clubs in the US. I think the black dress is more common style. The yellow dress definitely is something I’ve seen at weddings also in the US.
Omg i thought you were me for a sec
Chacha needs more confidence, she has a fabulous figure and looks fantastic in all of the outfits.
MJ could be an international model - someone needs to sign her up immediately! Wonderful episode, thank you.
Both looked great on all styles but I think I noticed more on Chacha today. I think she looked so good on the green outfit
Differences are what make us unique and beautiful! There is empowerment in covering up and being comfortable and dressing up and wearing revealing clothes! Just wear whatever you want.
No one in the comments has said it so i will🤷♀️. The black girls are so gorgeous like omg. They were servingggg!!
Serving?
@@Good_Hot_Chocolate it means they looked really good
Nah
Yep both beautiful.
I'm from NY so imo the clubbing clothes are super tame lol those are like date night outfits for us.
I was thinking the same. I also live on the east coast.
Bruh I was thinking the same.
Yeah I would classify those are general “party outfits”. They could easily be for like a work Christmas party or a fancy dinner.
@@xxarianahiltonxx5116 same
Yeah I wore something like the party dress to a friends quince before the dress was a different color and a little longer but similar.
They are both beautiful with their outfits being switched 👍
What I like about Korean outfits is they’re very minimalist and focus mostly on comfort. Not so much accessories, loose tops, sweatshirts, sneakers, etc.
Is it? But they wear the skirt too short? And they cover it with blanket
@@Merlina2004 yh I noticed that too and their uniforms is worse. Like really really short. But ig they like that style
@@Merlina2004 istg lol korean outfits are literally the opposite of what they described it as.
@@Merlina2004i heard that in korean culture showing off legs isn’t considered scandalous, but showing off the upper body is
I tend to dress like that, I think Korean fashion is perfect for me
MJ looks soo pretty in the yellow dress!!
How did you find such beautiful, bilingual American queens 😍 I hope MJ and Chacha are gaining more confidence with each of these videos, because they should absolutely be proud of their beauty!
Great episode and all the girls are 100% beautiful. BUT what made it so fun is that they are all so nice and positive about each other. Really heart-warming. Oh and MJ looks amazing in ChaChi's clothes and vice versa!
I love this switch, commentary, discussion about difference of culture and i love Chacha's reaction, she can't wear too revealing clothes, i remember in promotion party dress Chacha's reaction going on the floor and can't wear american revealing dress, it was too much
Chacha is very shy, but I don't understand why. She has a nice body and a very pretty cute face
I loved this so much, great episode. It was nice to have a comparison of perspectives and understanding of each other's culture.
I loved the korean girl with the bob outfits, she was so cute and the afro girl with her really rocked hers as well
They all look beautiful in so many ways. American and Korean fashion are distinct from one another. One may appear totally conservative while the other is much more out there in terms of how the garments were designed.
That yellow dress looks amazing on both girls . Two different types of bodies, but beautiful both of them.
"TOO HOT TO HANDLE." I'm crying haha
Chacha looks amazing in those fitness clothes! 💙 It wouldn't hurt be a little more adventurous in your stile
But Chacha happy is the best Chacha 🤗
That yellow dress looked amazing on both ladies
MJ always looks so cute in whatever she wears! Her funny personality is a great bonus and she seems like a sweet person!
it’s interesting how jay said there’s not really hakwon’s in the US because it really depends on where you are. Where I grew up it was not everyone I went to school with but mostly south or east asian kids would go to some sort of tutoring at least 2-5 times a week for multiple hours and when they start high school that tutoring shifts to prep classes for college entrance exams and I feel like this has the same concept as a hakwon? i’m so so sure about other communities in america but generally standardized testing was taken very seriously by my parents and other asian families so private tutoring was almost seen as a necessity to do well in school and get into good colleges.
That sounds more like an Asian American experience. I am one but my parents were never strict. I'm actually shocked some Asian Americans have those.
Both Korean girls looked amazing in the Western work out outfits!
MJ has looked great in any of the outfits that were outside her comfort zone
I'm in love with MJ. That club fit really makes her look good.
Loved it! 😍 All of you were very cute in the switches. Asians show their figures in different ways, which is more subtle, but they were as nicely built as the American girls and could pull it off. Great video.
Both girls looked good in the orange dress!!🥰😍
ChaCha-ssi!! You look amazing in every one of those outfits. Thank you for this content PD-nim as it was very fun to watch. I grew up in in a city in America and we had to wear uniforms but it was not the "formal" type, but just color-coded uniforms: Blue, Black or Khaki pants, with a Blue or White collared shirt. Also, my friends and I dressed more in the casual styles when going to clubs in University with Jeans and sneakers. I have never worn a fancy dress or anything like that to a nightclub. but That's just us 😀
As a student in the US in the '90s, we often had study periods during the school day. Basically, you sat in a classroom and just studied or did homework. I could usually get my homework done during those study periods, so I didn't have any work to take home at the end of the day. It was awesome. Students need a healthy school-life balance just like adults need a healthy work-life balance.
The only time I had study periods was when the teacher was out sick. I graduated in the mid 90s and went to school in Southern California. I agree that students need a healthy balance and looking back I can see I was overburdened. I also did sports, so some days I would spend about 12 hours at school and then have 1-2 hours of homework on top of that.
I graduated in 2021. We still do have study periods also. They’ve purposed it as a time for tutoring, testing, re-testing, and a time to do homework.
Went to high school in Australia. Our all girls Catholic school gave free period, this was maybe 2× per week plus any period a Teacher was absent & no replacement found. Straight home after last bell, no tutoring or academies.
Yeah In Highschool at least we had study periods
Lol, imagine the Korean girl had to switch clothes with a girl from the high school in Euphoria 😂
Hopefully a background character or rue 😅
Cha Cha looked awesome in everything.
MJ with a yellow dress and flannel is so beautiful. :)
The girl with short hair and the girl with the curly hair + pony tail are so cute
jay is sooo pretty omds and her voice is SO cute 😭😭 more content with her!!!
Being an American I am not shocked by clothing, I have seen it all and this includes men's clothes also. But I must say the OSSC ladies are classy dressers, have great figures and from what I have seen Koreans in general take a lot of pride in how they dress and overall appearance. In America trendy clothes and hair styles come and go but a classic or timeless look goes anywhere around the world. BTW ChaCha is a doll as are all of the OSSC cast. Enjoyed the video.
Chacha looked really comfy in that high school outfit. Although, to me, it looks more like a college outfit. It's a nice half-half outfit: half urban, half rural. Ready for either a study date at the library or a hike in the woods. Versatile dress is the best dress. 👍
I enjoyed seeing both Korean and American opinions and reactions to each outfit. As always, OSSC delivers the entertainment.
All 4 of you were adorable and I enjoyed the outfit swaps…Aloha 💕
ChaCha you would need to carrying a bat with that clubbing outfit on in LA. To keep the boys away. You looked beautiful!!!
that yellow dress was stunning in both of them
I love this channel ❤ how open the girls are to trying new things 😊
This was such a fun video! I loved it!! All the outfits were super cute too! 💕💕✨✨
the girls ate down
I liked all d girls friendly personalities.. Politely telling d pros nd cons of their fashion choices
im american and i prefer the korean style more. whenever i wear "revealing" clothes, i always regret it because i sometimes feel uncomfy. i do love wearing short skirts and dresses though, its only the revealing tops that make me a bit uncomfy
I hope MJ realises the absolute GODESS she is
Honestly, women can pull off any kind of look. This is coming from a guy's perspective. Every outfit I see them try on is #1 for me!!!
Wow chacha look pretty in black dress😍😍😍😍😍😍
I need to know where Miss Mamas got that off the shoulder dress cuz that was beautiful
I would LOVE to see a male version of this video please!
I’d love for them to Try some American School Uniforms.
I really want a part 2 !!!
2:48 Girl, anyone who is in IB/AP, that is NOT the schedule. lmao
Yea same! Also, there are after school sports and activities that can end around 6 or 8, and then you do homework. Not to mention a lot of American high school students work after school too. Some school have a program where they let you leave early so you can go to work.
Yeah very interesting for Korea women curious about America clothes. Yeah depend on comfortable to wear it. America culture don't care what to wear as long it's comfortable and match as depend on what type people prefer it. Just be yourself and have a fun. 😊
We technically do have Hakwon tho. We have private schools and academies (they wear uniforms) and even private boarding schools.
they all look so pretty and amazing in their workout clothes and all of them💕💕 this was such a nice video I loved it
I feel like the girls who expressed a positive reaction to their look received a positive response back; the girls who had more negative to say, received a more negative response. If we lead with an open mind, others will return the favor.
This was cute 🤎
I guess it depends where in America u go to. I only had to wear a uniform in middle school and they were very strict about it. Girls weren't allowed to wear skirts. We weren't allowed to wear school pants that wear black, only khaki. And we couldn't wear just a random school shirt it had to have the logo of the school on it. If we didn't wear the right uniform we got detention.
MJ rocked that orange dress. It doesn't scream "club" to me unless you're talking about a swanky jazz club. Less "shots, shots, shots" and more "highballs and martinis". Of all the gin joints in all the UA-cams, she walks into this one. A real classy dame. 🍸
7:52 WOW... Chacha is looking good..
TWO BLACK GIRLS WE MOVEDDJS
This is segment is pretty cool! Great feedback and comparisons.
We do have private after school programs that are similar to hakwons in the US. I know cause I went to them lol. However, they don’t usually last as late as hakwons do.
Can I just say that Jay is SOOOO pretty? Like hello?🙏
It would be so fun to see this again! Maybe with different nationalities or men?
I would really love them to meet a more introverted American one time! A lot of people think we’re super out going but some of us are not like that at all- I think that’ll be cool!
In the city where I live the clothing for high school wear whatever they want unless your in a private school
MJ in that orange dress???Sñgeg!kklm SO BEAUTIFUL
Western women like to strut their stuff, Asians are more modest (in public).
Looool @ "too hot to handle"
Too cute
Molto bello questo confronto, mi piacerebbe lo faceste con delle ragazze italiane.
Magari anche i vostri amici potrebbero confrontarsi con dei ragazzi italiani
Awwww this was really cute and fun to watch
Jay really pulled off her own outfits well, and her partner's outfits too. The other girls... had a harder time.
MJ in the yellow dress immediately made me think of Sunmi.
Hello 👋 this was interesting and funny 😁, I understand what each other was saying, but I think the problem is Korean has been so isolated from the rest of the world and other countries are just open and comfortable with the style and confidence. Okay thanks
Cha Cha & MJ both looked great in all the outfits but Cha Chas confidence made her stand out more .
Oh yeah, in private schools in America kids wear uniforms like in Korea. And u have to have curves to show curves. Curves are beautiful 😻
In Germany where I live It’s Even a bit more extreme. They where like shorts that show their whole ass already in 7th grade and crop tops and stuff.
Both girls in the Thumbnail look good in that blazer
HOW CUTE you guys are ❤️❤️
In my own opinion I feel like the Korean girl with the short hair is little insecure. I just don’t see anyone going to the club dress like that.
Also some Korean girls dress sexy and revealing at the club too.
The girl who said the outfit looked bad and was the too hot one, I get it's her style and you want to feel good in what you wear, but I will say it looked so good on her, I think she could do with a bit of confidence that she looks good, but I get it.
all the outfits looked good.
I had to make my middle school change the dress code for the skirts and dresses because my arms are longer than they r supposed to be
6:55 한국에서 클럽을 가는데 저렇게 입고 간다고요? ㅠㅠ 중학생 같은데.... 저 흰색 티셔츠 무슨일이야
I got out of high school at 2:40 every day my school was not keeping till 4pm 😭😭😭😭 my middle school did that though
MJ is so fucking beautiful, god damn 😍
Wow!! Cha Cha in the American gym and the American clubbing outfits... sexxxxyyyy!!!
Seems like it is real. lmao.
5:21 ChaChi: I have big boobs, so it's a bit tight.
5:25 MJ: - EMOTIONAL DAMAGE -
I thought that they all looked good in all the outfits.
패배 : 승리
Anybody know if chachi has a yt?
I like the Korean outfits, after all chocolate takes better when you take the wrapper of yourself
You can tell this video is a little old since MJ cut her hair
Korean girls figure are goals slim fit
I like the black girls; they're slender.
Nah we like thicc not stick.
Please do Koreans react to uk drill 🙏
Am i the only one who realised that when they said "American Girls" that was straight 2 BLACK women. racism.
So funny 😆
👍👍👍👍
