Man Scott I was fishing the other day and I caught two 3# bass and I thought I was doing something but than I thought WOW! I got two bass all day and these guys have to get a 5 bag limit. Not only that but the biggest they can get. You guys are truly professional. You guys make it look easy but Lord knows it’s not easy at ALL! I have real respect for ya’ll. Keep up the good work!

In a little experience I have fishing tournaments at the club level I would say that you're doing things right get your points make the championship in your case the classic and then go out and try to hit a homerun there's always next year I kind of tend to believe that in a bass fishing tournament where the skill levels are all about the same it doesn't matter if you're at the professional level or the club level or anywhere in between somebody's going to catch him and a lot of people aren't going to catch them and it's can pretty much be anybody's day when everyone shows up at the boat ramp so I think fishing conservatively get your points and make the classic is the way to go.
I had 6 fish get off today. Switched to a jig and got 4 keepers.

I think you should have a giveaway for that spinnerbait that wouldn't give you hookups, call it the Accursed Giveaway as the lure was obviously cursed or jinxed, or call it the Blind Bass or Short Strike Giveaway.
The water changed color s lot due to the flooding I think it's possible the fish we're a little blind having trouble focusing hitting the wrong part of your bait?with a swim bait there's only one part of the bait they can't miss it vibration wise just a thought

IF IT WERE ANY OF US SAYING THE FISH IS JUST MISSING THE BAIT, you know you would say then you're reeling it in too quickly. Slow down your tempo buddy let that thing sink. give it a yank make it flutter and fall to the bottom then start it up again. I've been scooped right off the bottom like that a few times

Make a sacrifice for the fishing gods. In the morning go out to the middle of the lake and throw a megabass overboard. Guaranteed 25lb bag.
Just need a bright swimbait on that spinner bait in that dirty water makes all the difference in the world.

Fishing the Coosa in that water color having a round blade spinnerbait seems to work better than the willows, as does the swim jig. Hang in there Scott, you will get one soon.
I think in my river i have small largemouth but big hogs for smallmouth so i was thinking a ned rig but too much grass any tips

Maybe they weren't blind bass but were just sick of that damn spinnerbait, so many times, whizzing past their head at 30 mile' an hour and were snapping at it just to get some peace & quiet😊
