Definitely, if a reputable employer can offer you a higher wage you're not wrong for seizing that oppurtunity, and if you like where you're at you can even give that company the oppurtunity to match the competitors offer. Either way you're not obligated to stay with a company. These employers seem to forget that they dont own you, they are simply paying you for your services, and should you ever want to sell your services to an employer who is willing to pay more you have every right to do so.
Couldn’t agree more!!! At the end of the day… a job can replace you in an instant and wouldn’t give it a second thought! You should do the same if it benefits you!
