Long Island Rail Road: New York - Hicksville route for Train Sim World is now available on Steam.
The Long Island Rail Road is one of America’s most historic and legendary railroads, carrying nearly 90 million passengers a year. You can experience Train Sim World's version of this iconic route, travelling across 42 miles and through 26 LIRR stations, in the M7 EMU, all captured in full authenticity.
This route covers Atlantic Terminal, Long Island City and New York Penn to Hicksville, as well as the Hempstead Branch. Now’s the best time to hop on-board, we’ll see you on the Island!

Good work on getting this route made and released Dovetail Games! Now that it's available, please don't forget to keep making more MTA content for your train simulation games since you still have a partnership with them. As I've said before, please do the Hudson Line/Empire Corridor/Water Level Route from New York's Grand Central Terminal (and Penn Station if set after 1991) to Poughkeepsie, NY for Train Simulator 2019. Then if time and money are available, please consider making an extension for it to bring the route to Albany and include the parallel West Shore Line/River Subdivision to Jersey City. Yes, the Hudson Line does take priority over the Harlem Line when it comes to making the next MTA (at least for Metro-North) route because the Hudson Line has always had a wider variety of trains and better scenery than the Harlem Line. Thank you.

I have a very important question I’m from NY and I take the Long Island rail back in forth from the city back to ronkonkoma. What I’m so annoyed about is WHAT HAPPEN TO THE Announcement saying THIS IS THE TRAIN TO Ronkonkoma THE NEXT STATION IS Jamaica to let the customers knows on the train. As you driving the M7 there red BAR that’s on the outside of the door it suppose to have a destination on the side of the train

On a prototype note, the modern LIRR is about as close as us Yankees get to the British style of railroading.
Honestly havent played the game since WSR. I know they havent improved the preformance so whats the point.
They have. I get 80fps on ultra. And I use a Dell laptop. So... yeah, it has improved.
For reference my laptop is a Dell inspiron 5000 gaming with a gtx 1050 and core i7

Dude, that is really the only business model that works for this sort of game. Do you know how much time it takes to make a route? There are not enough players to make it profitable if all routes came in the base game.
