Great caves ,love old woodwork. Hope you keep old touches .Sometimes to much is lost of past ways of life. Thanks for all your group does.Stay Healthy Everyone !
I don't know that area, but I think I'd be concerned about seasonal flooding. There had to be a reason that people abandoned those homes. I didn't see a levee along the banks of that river and there seems to be a layer of mud deposited along the bottom of the walls inside and outside of the structure. Sure hope they've thoroughly assessed the site before deciding to take over that abandoned home.
It's something I asked myself. I don't know the condition of the earth, but from the softness of the earth and how it so easily shaped this slope I assume that it may be a terrain that is not reliable for this type of construction and threats of collapse must be constant. I assume from the land where I live that it is easily eroded, if there is no rainwater channeling system that is effective, then the neighborhood is all engulfed by erosion. I don't know what the rainwater absorption system is like, but the terrain doesn't inspire any confidence!
@@carlosandino821 - I looked at it again. It's not easy to catch, but it seems like the far end of the yard toward the river is elevated quite high above the river trough; so, if there is an issue with erosion it's not from the river rising during the rainy season - unless that river rises more than about 25 ft. However, I think it's possible that there haven't been any measures taken on the slope above those homes to relieve hydro-static pressure caused by rain runoff seeping into that slope and then into those homes. The homes might have been originally built during a period when they had a number of years without serious ongoing rainfall; in which case, everything might have been fine until the day came when they had a really wet season that caused severe seepage into those homes, and the occupants was forced to abandon them.
I am impressed with your hard work. This stove is something I haven't seen before, like a central heating. I'm curious about the end result. Good luck!
what is this channel? Everyone leaving the big city and just grabbing empty houses and remodeling them? Why are you leaving the city? What will you do for work? I have questions..lol
Just who are you to judge??? When I bought my home they told me I needed a dozer. I said nope I can see past it.So doing it myself and working 12 plus hrs. I now have a beautiful home that God provided & designed. Took me 9yrs but a labor of love : peace & tranquility
You ever been to Hong Kong? They can't even breath there the air quality is so bad. Here they will be self sufficient and go to the city only when they have to. Many people are choosing to leave the cities in alot of countries.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for english subtitles…I will be a new subscriber because you were kind enough to make them available ! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

والله انا باستمتع بفديوهاتك
Good Job
I hope they don't destroy the existing Architecture. That would be sad. Very beautiful.
I enjoyed watching the progress of the renovation. Just would have made easier to follow if you had numbered the videos.
Great job 👍👍😍

@@mikeohandley1922 I agree!
A cave?!?!?! I need to have one!
I like it. Hard work. Beautiful. Ful wt and sbcb you.
I wonder who originally built them, and why.

Very common in rural China, Tibet, Mongolia. Ingenious. The stove warms the sleeping area you lay on.
@@lindamcconnell9441 Thanks for the explanation. I'm from a different part of the world and for me it's something I haven't seen.
can you show us how it looks though everybodys video just shows pieces
Sooo is it normal to just claim a ''house'' even if its abandoned?
Can't wait to see rest of it. Great job. What country is this??
This is in northern China
@Leaving City…..how good will your caves be against an earthquake. Do you have any idea ? I’m just curious.
I think he just found Bag End.
IF THIS IS FOR REALS, AND NOT SOME PROPAGANDA VIDEO, ITS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ANY FAMILY MAN THAT WANTS TO BUILD HIS OWN HOUSE.
Who's cave ? Your cave ? Did you buy it ?

Это северное Шенси ?
Care to link back to the og channel this came from?
Do you renovate to live in? Do you do it for someone else?
Where are you located?
Why renovate if no one benefits?
It looks like some people are going to live there because they have installed drinking water.
just like your video incomplete
it says P01 Start with...
Ridiculous all that to live in a cave
