So...took a pottery wheel classes in Feb/March...fell in love...bought all I needed used and created a studio...been playing. Watched this video last night, dreamt about making spoon rests all night, and then made 12 today! Thanks for the great instruction and inspiration. You are my guru.
Can’t wait to see the collab. Y’all are my favorite pottery youtubers. Met Matthew Kelly while I was in seagrove a few months ago. Super jealous that I can’t be there to see both of y’all in action together but also stoked to see everything to come out of it
I’ve watched nearly all your videos. My fav is the hand warming mug even though you don’t like making them lol I was gonna see if you sold them and shipped to the UK
So this is one of those items that I did not even know existed as a product (I kinda just use a saucer for the same purpose), but now I need one desperately.
Jon you've inspired me again, this is the perfect item for me to add to the wooden utensils my husband and I make, thanks. I have a quick question what do you use to make the small square bats you use?

Thanks for the shout out buddy!
I find a wooden rib helps in pulling the wall. I also trim the bottom edge before I put the 'spout in'.
John the Potter...the man the myth the legend! I have actually been making those. I didn't know they were a thing!
So excited to see the videos with Matthew Kelly! Love his videos and yours. It's gonna be great!

I love this tutorial!! Thank you so much. I am very much a beginner and I am teaching my self to throw pottery through videos like this.
Love my spoon rest that I made 😊 they’re so useful to have.

Love your work!
Those spoon rests are gorgeous! I still use my grandma’s which is over 50 years old but not as beautiful as the ones you make!
Not a superfluous comment to raise the channel's rating!)))
Please make more videos like this!! I like it!
Bold of you to assume I own a dishwasher, but I could definitely use a spoon rest. I have a goal for my studio time tomorrow.

Just what I needed! Love the Sunday posts. Keep up the great work, Jon!
Really cool designs! 😊
I love watching the process. These look like a lot of fun. Tfs!
정말 멋지네요 ! 최고예요 👍
Have you thought about using a metal stamp to « sign » your pieces on the bottom side? It’s a really nice addition imo :)
How about a JTP Raku video?
Can you do a picture frame in red and gold?
John can u make little propagation dishes ? The plant world needs them.
Thanks-new to Pottery and I’m going to try this next week. What kind of bat is that? It’s different than any I’ve seen?
I need dessert plates and whiskey cups please/thank you/please/thank you sir, we love your work 🌈
Hi. How about making a stack of the spoon rests for the April sale? I would like to buy a few of them. 😍
