- As Israel enters its 74th year of occupying Palestine, labeling all its critics as antisemitic, world public opinion is finally changing. But is it shifting fast enough for those being pushed off their land? What is the relationship between, and relative importance of, Western public opinion in connection with regional resistance? How should we deal with the new brand of political leaders who claim solidarity with Palestinians while campaigning but then disappoint when in office? Also, is a multipolar world good for Palestine and what does 2022 have in store for the Middle East?

The parallels of seeing tower blocks being bombed and collasing in the centre of a city in Gaza and 9/11 were very evident to me.
The main thing to consider with regard to Israeli policy toward Palestinians is, what is the end game? With the nation state law that came out in 2018, where it was made clear Isreal is a jewish state, the obvious end game is an apatheid state where non jews are second class citizens at best, the rest are stateless. Most of the problems we see in the middle east have their roots in this colonial experiment.
too fin bad, you could take any place in the world with a long diverse history, and think of adding a settler-colonial project in its midst, and within time, it'd cancel out most said history to the rest of the world, too, and in its place was violence, discrimination, turmoil, covered up with braggarts and liars faces..

The US is and has never ever been a democracy, it was always a plutocracy (Royalties = Oligarchs), even the founding fathers were literal rich slave owners that rebel cause the British kingdom made a deal with the French and Spain colonies, which prevented them from conquering the territories that France and Spain owned, which made the rich folks in the 13th colonies angry, which resulted in doing their so call "revolution", just so they (people in the 13th colonies) can colonies the whole north america continent for themselves (aka they did a revolution out of selfish imperialism, not out of moral principle of independence); so by voting for the one party duopoly, people in the US, by default, are also guilty for supporting imperialism by association and all of the deaths cause by your gov't is also on your hands, since the US is a corrupt republic, everyday Americans are responsible for whatever crimes your gov't commits, since you people help create said gov't in the place, by voting for corrupt politicians into power and being complacent with their corruption.
They're not stuck, they are OWNED by the Israeli lobby collective, who coerces them to only support Israel, and ignore human rights.

China may not be intervening in Palestine but I can assure you from China's presence in the Middle East will have a ripple effect. The Chinese influence and positivity will greatly have an impact and will influence Middle East and hopefully the Middle East countries will have some power to fight off these Western countries. Because Chinese presence and cooperation will bring money and the technological know-how into the Middle East. This is so huge. And this is what the West is preventing. The Middle East can slowly start repairing their country and be able to focus on their security with high tech weapons for their military. But this takes time. When the Middle Eastern countries recover... Hope all the money and prosperity will bring about good governments doing the right thing. And I hope there will good middle eastern powers to focus on Palestine.

I adore both of you guys and agreed with everything said in this vid, except for the final topic. The public safety argument is completely valid/justified when it comes to all the other major vaccines, from small pox to polio, because they prevent transmission. So for that reason it outweighs the argument for bodily autonomy. However, this specific vaccine, (the covid vax), this is completely not applicable, because this vaccine has proven to not prevent transmission. Im not an anti-vaxer in the slightest, and nor are many/most of the leftists who are taking issue with discussions of mandates and vax-passports. I have been vaccinated with a booster, and definitely think people should take the vax without question because it has proven to at the least - prevent hospitalization if your one of the few who still manage to contract covid while being vaccinated. The fact of the matter is this vaccine is simply not like any of those other vaccines, it's much more of a treatment, like the flu shot for instance - rather than a vaccine. The argument to get people to get vaccinated is by explaining that it will prevent hospitalization, but getting this vaccine doesn't in the slightest help other people or the public writ-large. Even Faucci has discussed this vaccines inability to prevent transmission. Now with all these new variants, this vax is incapable of doing what so many health officials, mainstream media/politicians, and sadly - many leftists such as yourselves, all seem to believe it does. If this vaccine did prevent transition and work the way people say it does, then how come places like Israel and Germany, which are currently both up to 90-95% vaccinated, and yet they are still having their highest contraction rate over the past few months - since this pandemic stated? And for this reason - the argument for bodily autonomy wins out and makes any sort of mandates, (enforced by the government or by corporations), nonsensical. Im staunchly against these mandates and i think far too many on the left are reacting to opposition to these sorts of policies, as if these are somehow equally as ridiculous as those who have been anti-vaxrs before covid. You guys are allowing your emotions and fear to prevent you from grappling with the actual science and actually engage with any of the specific reasons/arguments that other leftists are making for why they oppose these policies. I mean seriously, are you gonna tell me that the likes of Corbyn, Richard Wolf, Chris Hedges, Glenn Greenwald, and your close mutual friend - Max Blumenthal - are all just crazy conspiracy theorists pushing anti-science anti-vaxer nonsense?

I seriously think that a multipolar world is much better than a unipolar world. I think in my honest opinion, that middle east region specifically Palestine, is a fraught issue that must be addressed, and with this new impetus we would all hope that the suffering of these people the Palestinians would be addressed, this is what everyone wishes for, for peace, but as long as organisations such as AIPAC, aka American Israeli Public Affairs Committee is still around, given the current US stance on these issues, these two are the REAL stumbling blocks to progress for peace. When looking at views outside of Palestine, it is largely polarized due to mass propaganda by western rubbish msm always taking one side, or reporting it in such a way, which makes it look like David vs Goliath, Israel always being depicted as little David vs Goliath, which couldn't be further from the truth. Its the other way around. Yet, no western msm likes to report how mighty Israel, with all its might of its well armed military uses all this foreign aid from US, to aim its weapons at a defenceless people the Palestinians, instead its portrayed as "Pro-Palestinian extremists armed with serious, advanced weapons" when everyone knows this western narrative is a complete lie.
Israeli hardliners will NEVER concede to a independent Palestinian state ever. They're too set in their minds, & its been too long, this whole conflict has been left to fester such hard feelings on both sides for so long, exacerbated by the fact that US, its EU allies seem to predominantly support one side rather than showing true convictions for true peace, that true peace between Israelis & Palestinians will forever be short lived. We all want for peace for both sides. But, the hardliners on both sides do NOT trust each other. SO how do we deal with this from here. I say we bring in a neutral party to mediate a solution, forget about the US being a peace broker, forget aout the west being a peace broker here, they tried it for so many years, and from what i can see, they were never about peace since the west was one sided all the time, especially USA.
Another country should step in as a new peace broker so that all sides can have their concerns, voices heard.

But people like me who are from the third world understand the importance of a vaccine because obtaining it is a difficult process. Do you disagree with the vaccines period or do you find Pfizer's development of the vaccine to be inferior compared to other methods?
