What in hells the point of the UN. It's nothing of value and just rubber stamps whatever their told. Since the Nakba in 1948, my Palestinian family has been displaced by Israeli forces from Jericho, their birth place, to three different refugee camps in the West Bank until they settled in one camp near Bethlehem, where they started their fourth new life after all of their assets they had in Jericho like houses, farms , shops, and lands were confiscated by the Israelis and simply given away to Israeli settlers who immigrated to Palestine from Eastern Europe. After that my dad worked almost all of his life for Israeli building companies in the occupied West Bank to secure basic needs for his children. My mum and despite her mental illness caused by the displacement trauma, she somehow and miraculously managed to keep us all alive , and together. However the saddest aspect of this brutal Israeli occupation was not the loss of our land in Jericho itself, but the overall poor living conditions we experienced under the apartheid military control where the Israeli soldiers can shoot and kill innocent Palestinians without being prosecuted. Of course, lack of basic human rights has been the main highlight of the Israeli occupiers who did not give neither my mum nor dad any health care, social care, life or health insurance , compensation for displacement , care home or even basic pension as they later became frail and ill. My parents were lucky to bring up a family in such inhumane circumstances and for me they were my biggest heroes and without whom the story of my life would not be possible to tell. The story of my family is just one of millions of similar stories in Palestine and I’m sure there are more horrific stories to be told, but there are also many that can never be heard , as their heroes are no longer with us.
The world needs to hear these stories. I'm sorry that you went through this and that this is still going on. This isn't right you are a human being all human beings have rights, including the right to property and to be treated with dignity. The US is doing its best to maintain a propaganda war to make sure nobody knows these things are happening but now with social media that's getting harder and harder to do. The world should hear your story and everyone else who has a similar story. I am a disillusioned US vet, and I will no longer serve the cause of US empire. I hope one day soon justice can come for Palestine and all of its inhabitants. I don't know exactly what form that will take; whether it will be a military operation, or combination of outside pressures from non-western governments. But I hope it happens ASAP. These crimes against your people and all those from your region are unacceptable. I understand that Jewish people felt like they needed a safe haven after what happened before and during WW2, but at what price? An apartheid regime? The oppression of a new group of people in a new land? Settler- colonialism? Mass violence? That's not right. What of those native to the Palestinian region? Where are their rights?? We're all human beings. We all just want our simple rights respected. I want to support whatever solution the majority of the Palestinian descendants want, whether that's a one or two state solution. I don't know enough to decide which one is better than the other, so I'm eager to get feedback from those who do know.

Most Israelis are of European origin. The dominant class of Israelis immigrated from Europe. This is why the west has unapologetic support for Israel. During apartheid in South Africa, the west for decades gave their unwavering support. With the help of Israel South Africa gained nuclear weapons. Israel is a racist state coated in religion.The concept of manifest destiny has been used by Europeans to take lands of indigenous people globally. Manifest destiny is a doctrine which gives immigrants the right to take the land of indigenous people, because they believe that God gave it to them. I watched a video of a streamer who was video chatting w a very young boy in the West Bank. He couldn’t have been more than 10 years old. The streamer asked him to talk about what’s going on there and the little boy said “I can’t talk about it on the internet.” They spoke a little in Arabic but the little boy was afraid they’d come for his family if he spoke about what’s happening on the ground. SA apartheid had a segregated tricameral parliament system (with so-called coloured and Indian politicians onboard) along with various bantustan "parliaments"... the key point was that the white minority rule was held in place precisely because it incorporated some black stooges into its apartheid politics of divide and rule. Arabs, Palestinians included, just aren't there yet. When Israel Is Mighty (Edit) The source of Judaism is not in the Bible. The source of Judaism is in the Talmud. The people who wrote the Talmud are the ones who decided what books would be included in the Biblical canon. What they decided wouldn’t go in - didn’t go in. So for example, while the Catholic Church included the Books of the Maccabees in its version of the canon. Judaism did not preserve them, and in fact only the Greek version of them was preserved. Whether there were ever Hebrew or Aramaic versions of them is an interesting question but only Christianity preserved them. The Book of Judith and the Book of Tobias as well as many other books, mostly dealing with the Jews of the Diaspora, didn’t make it into the Jewish Biblical canon, and were only preserved by Christianity. Now, the Judaism that preceded Rabbinical Judaism was pretty much erased from history. In other words, there’s not enough information to know what happened back then. We know that there were Sadducees and there were Pharisees. The Pharisees are today’s Rabbinical Jews. But back then there were also Sadducees and Essene's. We don’t know anything about them for certain because when their enemies were victorious they simply erased them from history. What we do know is that from very early on, Rabbinical Judaism is a Judaism that hates humans. It defines only Jews as humans. And then only Jews who believe in their religion as humans. Okay, let’s get this exactly right: It defines only Jews who believe in the religion and are men as full humans. Everyone else is some level of ‘other’, that must be pushed aside, or, in extreme cases, destroyed. Rabbinical Jewish law prohibits the killing of a non-Jew, but it does not punish a person for doing so. In other words, if you kill a Jew, even a Jewish woman, even the slave of a Jew [Orthodox Judaism has never abolished slavery] then there is a penalty you have to pay. It could come to execution or it could be a fine. Back then there were no jails. But if you kill a non-Jew then you’re guilty, but there is no penalty. God will punish you. And that is - how shall I put it? - a bit problematic. When you say something is a crime, but there’s no punishment for committing it, then it’s not really a crime. This is the Talmud. The worst case, in my opinion, is the case of Maimonides, who decrees that it is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a 3-year-old girl. That age of consent is - problematic. And second of all, he decrees that if a Jew rapes a three-year-old non-Jewish girl, then she must executed. Her, not him - because she tempted him to sin. And for this reason, you have to treat her like an animal that puts obstacles in a person’s way, and then he quotes some verse about a bull. The rabbis know that these parts of the religion that are misanthropic and discriminatory to non-Jews - pose a problem for them. Because if they try to implement them there will be a pogrom. So to avoid that situation, the Talmud defines two different states of reality. One is called “Darkei Shalom” [peaceful ways]. In that case you delay the religious law until later because it would cause a huge mess, and people will die, so you don’t act that way.” Now, until what point does the ‘peaceful ways’ rule still apply? Just as long as the other situation does not exist, which is “When Israel Is Mighty”. That’s when there is a Jewish regime. It is independent, and it is merciless, it can do what it likes. Under those circumstances - it’s all over, you go back to the letter of the law. No more ‘peaceful ways’, no more nothing. Now, when religious Zionists look at reality, they say, “We’ve got a state. We’ve got weapons. We’ve got a Jewish army. This hasn’t happened for 2,000 years. ”What that means is that God wants us to bring about the Messiah, that God wants us to build the temple.” They skip over all of the conditions that are imposed by the Talmud on what a Messiah must be, and they go back to Maimonides. And Maimonides says, “There is no difference between our time and the time of the Messiah, other than the subordination to kingdoms.” In other words, the only difference between the time of Maimonides - he died in 1204 - and the time of the Messiah, is who is subordinate to whom. Are the Jews subordinate to “kingdoms”, of other nations? Or can they subordinate the other nations? And that is how Maimonides begins his Book of Kings. He explains what the rules are for a king, what a king can do. It emerges from the belief that, yes, there can be a king. You don’t have to first have a temple. You don’t need God to come down from the sky and point at someone and say, “That’s the Messiah”. You can have a king, and if he’s victorious, then he’ll also be the Messiah. And then you look at what the religious Zionists are doing about this. They want a Messiah. They want him now. There must be cleansings. Religious law prohibits contact with non-Jews. Of course Kosher laws prohibit you from eating with them. Other laws forbid you from treating them fairly. You are forbidden to return a lost item to a non-Jew - except in order to “keep the peace”. There is no prohibition on stealing from a non-Jew - except in order to ‘keep the peace”. You can’t say “hello” to them - unless there is no alternative. And so on and so forth. Now, if you killed someone’s entire family and left only him alive, he will indeed have a reason to cause harm. If you stole his lands, turned him into a refugee, tossed him to Jordan or Lebanon - he will indeed have a reason to cause harm. Many people said that the book’s arguments are not sound according to religious law, and so on and so forth - but no one really tackled it head-on. And it’s no wonder that it became a best-seller. Because in general, what religious Zionists actually want is for the Land of Israel to be for Jews only. Now the situation for the Christians, on the other hand, will be really bad. [According to Judaism], they are idolaters, and you have to kill them, even if they do not resist Jewish rule. In Jerusalem, religious seminary students have a despicable habit, they urinate or defecate on churches. If you go there and talk to the church staff, you’ll hear it from every church. Spitting on clergymen on the street is something that happens regularly. If the priest has the gall to hit the person back, to slap him or something similar, then he is deported, quietly. They cancel his residence permit in the country. If you want to justify a pogrom, all you have to do is say the words “missionary threat”. And from that perspective, Christianity, which is the historical archenemy of Judaism, is going to get a serious beating once the religious Zionists are in power. The Christian Fundamentalists who send them money apparently don’t understand what they are dealing with.

What in hells the point of the UN. It's nothing of value and just rubber stamps whatever their told. Since the Nakba in 1948, my Palestinian family has been displaced by Israeli forces from Jericho, their birth place, to three different refugee camps in the West Bank until they settled in one camp near Bethlehem, where they started their fourth new life after all of their assets they had in Jericho like houses, farms , shops, and lands were confiscated by the Israelis and simply given away to Israeli settlers who immigrated to Palestine from Eastern Europe.
After that my dad worked almost all of his life for Israeli building companies in the occupied West Bank to secure basic needs for his children. My mum and despite her mental illness caused by the displacement trauma, she somehow and miraculously managed to keep us all alive , and together.
However the saddest aspect of this brutal Israeli occupation was not the loss of our land in Jericho itself, but the overall poor living conditions we experienced under the apartheid military control where the Israeli soldiers can shoot and kill innocent Palestinians without being prosecuted. Of course, lack of basic human rights has been the main highlight of the Israeli occupiers who did not give neither my mum nor dad any health care, social care, life or health insurance , compensation for displacement , care home or even basic pension as they later became frail and ill. My parents were lucky to bring up a family in such inhumane circumstances and for me they were my biggest heroes and without whom the story of my life would not be possible to tell.
The story of my family is just one of millions of similar stories in Palestine and I’m sure there are more horrific stories to be told, but there are also many that can never be heard , as their heroes are no longer with us.

The world needs to hear these stories. I'm sorry that you went through this and that this is still going on. This isn't right you are a human being all human beings have rights, including the right to property and to be treated with dignity.

The world should hear your story and everyone else who has a similar story. I am a disillusioned US vet, and I will no longer serve the cause of US empire. I hope one day soon justice can come for Palestine and all of its inhabitants. I don't know exactly what form that will take; whether it will be a military operation, or combination of outside pressures from non-western governments. But I hope it happens ASAP. These crimes against your people and all those from your region are unacceptable. I understand that Jewish people felt like they needed a safe haven after what happened before and during WW2, but at what price? An apartheid regime? The oppression of a new group of people in a new land? Settler- colonialism? Mass violence? That's not right. What of those native to the Palestinian region? Where are their rights?? We're all human beings. We all just want our simple rights respected.
I want to support whatever solution the majority of the Palestinian descendants want, whether that's a one or two state solution. I don't know enough to decide which one is better than the other, so I'm eager to get feedback from those who do know.

I watched a video of a streamer who was video chatting w a very young boy in the West Bank. He couldn’t have been more than 10 years old. The streamer asked him to talk about what’s going on there and the little boy said “I can’t talk about it on the internet.” They spoke a little in Arabic but the little boy was afraid they’d come for his family if he spoke about what’s happening on the ground. Great interview. A note on one point: The fact that they have Palestinians in parliament means absolutely nothing. Apartheid is apartheid irrespective. SA apartheid had a segregated tricameral parliament system (with so-called coloured and Indian politicians onboard) along with various bantustan "parliaments"... the key point was that the white minority rule was held in place precisely because it incorporated some black stooges into its apartheid politics of divide and rule. So, if Muslims are true Muslims and they are doing Ramadan because of its is their religion duty and they are committed Muslims, why don't all Muslims join Palestine and fight for the Al- Aqsa mosque? The Arab world had very little passion to prevent (or rapidly draw to a close) the massively destructive Iran-Iraq War of 1980-1989. Ditto the Syrian Civil War, ditto Libya, Yemen, and others.. so it looks to those outside the Arab world that Arabs have great difficulty solving internal problems. It looks to those outside the Arab world that there's a deficiency in the kinds of mental habits and skills that enable folks to cooperate and build better futures.
This idea that the world's concern for Ukraine is a sign of hypocrisy or racism is a narrative that helps you feel like righteous victims but it ignores greatly important facts. One is that Ukraine has been mightily struggling for twenty years to advance from being a kleptocracy under domination of a tough mafia state (events of 2004, 2014) which really shows they have a passion for a more accountable type of government. Arabs, Palestinians included, just aren't there yet.

The source of Judaism is not in the Bible.
The source of Judaism is in the Talmud.
The people who wrote the Talmud are the ones who decided what books would be included in the Biblical canon. What they decided wouldn’t go in - didn’t go in.
So for example, while the Catholic Church included the Books of the Maccabees in its version of the canon. Judaism did not preserve them, and in fact only the Greek version of them was preserved. Whether there were ever Hebrew or Aramaic versions of them is an interesting question but only Christianity preserved them.
The Book of Judith and the Book of Tobias as well as many other books, mostly dealing with the Jews of the Diaspora, didn’t make it into the Jewish Biblical canon, and were only preserved by Christianity.
Now, the Judaism that preceded Rabbinical Judaism was pretty much erased from history. In other words, there’s not enough information to know what happened back then. We know that there were Sadducees and there were Pharisees. The Pharisees are today’s Rabbinical Jews. But back then there were also Sadducees and Essene's. We don’t know anything about them for certain because when their enemies were victorious they simply erased them from history. What we do know is that from very early on, Rabbinical Judaism is a Judaism that hates humans. It defines only Jews as humans. And then only Jews who believe in their religion as humans. Okay, let’s get this exactly right: It defines only Jews who believe in the religion and are men as full humans. Everyone else is some level of ‘other’, that must be pushed aside, or, in extreme cases, destroyed. Rabbinical Jewish law prohibits the killing of a non-Jew, but it does not punish a person for doing so. In other words, if you kill a Jew, even a Jewish woman, even the slave of a Jew [Orthodox Judaism has never abolished slavery] then there is a penalty you have to pay. It could come to execution or it could be a fine. Back then there were no jails. But if you kill a non-Jew then you’re guilty, but there is no penalty. God will punish you. And that is - how shall I put it? - a bit problematic. When you say something is a crime, but there’s no punishment for committing it, then it’s not really a crime. This is the Talmud.
The worst case, in my opinion, is the case of Maimonides, who decrees that it is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a 3-year-old girl. That age of consent is - problematic. And second of all, he decrees that if a Jew rapes a three-year-old non-Jewish girl, then she must executed. Her, not him - because she tempted him to sin. And for this reason, you have to treat her like an animal that puts obstacles in a person’s way, and then he quotes some verse about a bull.
The rabbis know that these parts of the religion that are misanthropic and discriminatory to non-Jews - pose a problem for them. Because if they try to implement them there will be a pogrom. So to avoid that situation, the Talmud defines two different states of reality. One is called “Darkei Shalom” [peaceful ways]. In that case you delay the religious law until later because it would cause a huge mess, and people will die, so you don’t act that way.”
Now, until what point does the ‘peaceful ways’ rule still apply? Just as long as the other situation does not exist, which is “When Israel Is Mighty”. That’s when there is a Jewish regime. It is independent, and it is merciless, it can do what it likes. Under those circumstances - it’s all over, you go back to the letter of the law. No more ‘peaceful ways’, no more nothing.
Now, when religious Zionists look at reality, they say, “We’ve got a state. We’ve got weapons. We’ve got a Jewish army. This hasn’t happened for 2,000 years. ”What that means is that God wants us to bring about the Messiah, that God wants us to build the temple.” They skip over all of the conditions that are imposed by the Talmud on what a Messiah must be, and they go back to Maimonides. And Maimonides says, “There is no difference between our time and the time of the Messiah, other than the subordination to kingdoms.” In other words, the only difference between the time of Maimonides - he died in 1204 - and the time of the Messiah, is who is subordinate to whom. Are the Jews subordinate to “kingdoms”, of other nations? Or can they subordinate the other nations? And that is how Maimonides begins his Book of Kings. He explains what the rules are for a king, what a king can do. It emerges from the belief that, yes, there can be a king. You don’t have to first have a temple. You don’t need God to come down from the sky and point at someone and say, “That’s the Messiah”. You can have a king, and if he’s victorious, then he’ll also be the Messiah. And then you look at what the religious Zionists are doing about this. They want a Messiah. They want him now.
There must be cleansings. Religious law prohibits contact with non-Jews. Of course Kosher laws prohibit you from eating with them. Other laws forbid you from treating them fairly. You are forbidden to return a lost item to a non-Jew - except in order to “keep the peace”. There is no prohibition on stealing from a non-Jew - except in order to ‘keep the peace”. You can’t say “hello” to them - unless there is no alternative. And so on and so forth. There are all kinds of prohibitions that are entirely psychotic, that are based on a religion of vengeance.
Religious Zionists have a serious problem with the fact that there are any non-Jews here. The Land of Israel is supposed to be only for Jews. So ironically, they would manage to get along with the Muslims, more or less, if we weren’t involved in a military conflict with them. Because according to Judaism, Muslims are not idolaters. Muslims believe in one God. They don’t have idols, they don’t have statues, they don’t have anything like that. So ironically, during the Medieval Era, Jews got along better with Muslims than with Christians. But what can you do? We conquered a territory populated mainly by Muslims, and the Muslims are fighting us - so those defenses fall away. And look, now they are starting to talk about genocide.
You have the [book] “Torat Hamelech” [King’s Torah], which tells you that you can kill children if there is a reason to believe that one day they could cause harm. Now, if you killed someone’s entire family and left only him alive, he will indeed have a reason to cause harm. If you stole his lands, turned him into a refugee, tossed him to Jordan or Lebanon - he will indeed have a reason to cause harm. Many people said that the book’s arguments are not sound according to religious law, and so on and so forth - but no one really tackled it head-on. And it’s no wonder that it became a best-seller. Because in general, what religious Zionists actually want is for the Land of Israel to be for Jews only.
Now the situation for the Christians, on the other hand, will be really bad. [According to Judaism], they are idolaters, and you have to kill them, even if they do not resist Jewish rule. In Jerusalem, religious seminary students have a despicable habit, they urinate or defecate on churches. If you go there and talk to the church staff, you’ll hear it from every church. Spitting on clergymen on the street is something that happens regularly. If the priest has the gall to hit the person back, to slap him or something similar, then he is deported, quietly. They cancel his residence permit in the country. If you want to justify a pogrom, all you have to do is say the words “missionary threat”. And from that perspective, Christianity, which is the historical archenemy of Judaism, is going to get a serious beating once the religious Zionists are in power. The Christian Fundamentalists who send them money apparently don’t understand what they are dealing with.

You have to remember most Americans are Christian and Believe the Palestinians are occupying historic Israel not the other way around, by going by the old biblical Bible maps of Israel and believe the surrounding Islamic nations should take the Palestinians refugees out of historic Israel.
But they refuse to help the Palestinians with anything but weopons but will not let them enter as refugees.
