In all fairness, I think LoTML is THE worst starter quest for new players. BDO is popular for it's combat, and you do next to NONE of that in LoTML. It's 10hrs of running and talking to NPCs. Doesn't really highlight BDO's selling points in any shape or form. So I always tell every single new player to avoid starting with LoTML.
@@Kingsanitea True true. I honestly liked LoTML story, tbqh. It was a nice change of pace from the standard grinding, but the storytelling was still pretty meh compared to most other games out there. A system like novice network from FF XIV would be great, that is how I found my FF Guild, filled with lovely people that I love playing with, and of course, that makes any MMO a much easier experience. I didn't join a guild for two reasons, the first one is that I knew I wasn't going to be sticking around, the second one is that EU servers are people allcaps typing in 20 languages, and the few I saw advertising themselves in English were all mentioning minimum requirements and activities that I still don't know what they are. None were "New player friendly". It's also really important to remember, if you come from an MMO that has very static combat and are looking for something that has more of a character action game feel, the weighty characters feel really good to play. The beauty of BDO was that the devs threw you into this massive world and said "alright figure it out, survival of the fittest" I feel like BDO's early game was like a trial. Yeah , i never understood why anyone would ever recommend LoML or god help us Mountain of Eternal winter to a beginner player. It makes absolutely no sense, neither of those have any combat or actual gameplay mechanics introductions, they are both essentialy R spam simulators
37:11 what's the problem with the ancient stone? It's simple and enjoyable "kill 10 goblins, now kill 50 goblins, now kill one big goblin. Now do the same with a different type of goblin". It's a simple loop that lets you enjoy the best part of the game - combat.
As a new player myself, I agree with all his points. Ancient Stone Chamber, ironically, is the best starting point imo. After Awakening quest though, I was really asking "what do I do next? What gear should I try to get? How/when is the best time to graduate from season? How to make silver?" I was geniunely confused on what to do. Also, he makes a good point about LoML. Yea, you are killing bosses there, but that is actually NOT what you will be doing for the large majority of time you spend actually playing the game. You will be grinding mobs, pvp or lifeskilling, and the Ancient Stone Chamber questline has you do more of killing mobs, so its more aligned with how you will be actually playing the game later on.
the only problem i have with LOTML as a starting zone is its lack of basic mobs and combat in the first 8 hours of a game with the best combat system of any MMORPG. Ancient stone chamber is the most natural and enjoyable start of the game in my opinion too, they should think about voicing the entire main questlines though. As for the guilds, i played several years without ever touching the g key, it's only by returning to the game this year and being interested in large scale pvp that i decided to join one
The first time I came across Blue he was streaming, shotcalling a war (siege maybe?), and was violently ill and pale as a ghost, sweating, and throwing up off camera IIRC but he trucked through it. It was one of the best things I've ever seen on Twitch. I knew he was going to grow as a streamer and content creator right then and there. You have to want it.
Hey Blue, recently stumbled across your channel like a week ago. Really enjoy your reaction content as you actually give some hilarious commentary. The ‚How to double your first billion‘ reaction with the +1 valks had me in tears. Keep it up!
Remember us vet players are jaded as fuck we've been with the game for 5+ years. So a person whos going to love the game and stick with it is most likely going to enjoy all the same shit we loved at the start. Mediah start quest + farming helms and unlocking awakening was amazing when we first started.
They need to remake all the quests so that it teaches the player about their character's combat system and combos - while also walking them through the confusing UI and enhancing systems.
Didn't know people hated LOML so much lol. As a Korean the story was by far the best for me and the whole island is like a time-traveled Gogoryeo village in a fantasy element. But It's understandable most foreigners aren't interested in another country's history. As a new player, the stone chamber made me drop BDO twice and it was LOML that brought me to stay.
Well I think people love the LoML story but uh when you compare it to good storylines that really GRIP your attention and make you feel invested it falls short. When you compare it to other bdo quests it looks incredible because the rest of it is garbage.
When i did my first playthrough i went the first path because it said it was recommended for beginners. That path is unironically really interesting, and i was invested through the entire quest line. I must say tho, the altanova quests were a huge falloff
I started in September, 2020 and I also started on a Normal server, my character wasn't Season, because at the time, I had zero idea what Season was, I noticed it in character creation, but I thought that was something special for veterans. But I had a pretty pleasant experience, I slowly got to 56, did my Awakening quest, then eventually made it to 60+ by just exploring the regions, doing all kinds of side quests, getting ass blasted by Steel Nux the first time I tried to kill him. But I will note, I think I was using mostly Naru gear with a DUO Sicil necklace and the TRI rings you get from Mediah and Valencia questlines. I'm probably in the minority, but I enjoyed the levelling adventure and how clueless I was about everything. It's part of the fun for me, to learn over time and learn from your mistakes overall.
He definitely nailed the average BDO player questing experience. "Idk, I ended up in some place talking to someone who said a lot of names probably important to some lore." As a side note, I always do Ancient Stone Chamber. I hate all the xpac starters. LoML doesn't even have a monster zone, which is just.....ok.
a little trivia, the crossroad in serendia is actually quite different, i only did the jordine and middle one and i can say they gave totally different experience, the jordine for me is a very good story quest (but still crappy questing, just the story is good, the writing is awful) which later on you'll fight jordine as last boss that made him outcasted from the serendia, while the middle one you just basically said idgaf to jordine face and fuck off which later you deal with orcs and some other monster until you go to harpy monster which was the start of calpheon questline
Ancient stone chamber is GOATED! LOML is the WORST questline of ALL time. I hated LOML even as a veteran player, Eternal winter was cool imo. Ancient stone chamber is the BEST for new players bc the story is decent and you get to play your class way more.
im so glad i learned about turning server notifications off long before the brought in seasonals and tuvala gear.. imagine seeing EVERY single tuvala fail and success..
starting land of morning light is the worst thing u can do. the most boring long experience ever. i went there on an ult, played for like 4 hours and wanted to kms, i put everything in storage and deleted that character. idk why hes encouraging starting it. you will have so much for fun starting ancient stone chamber and for an ult spam r for 1 hour and u get to level 51 easy peasy.
As a new player myself, I recognize a lot of the issues brought up. I as well think the stone chamber is the best place to start because at least you get to do some stuff. But there is no doubt that BDO has a lot of issues with new player experience, a confusing and boring story and all kinds of weird stuff. Also, the fact that it defaults to overwhelm you with endless messages as soon as you start playing is completely incomprehensible. I was so frustrated the first hour or so. Starting to get the hang of it now after 20-25 hours. But life skills and high level gear is something I have no clue about. I have increased my Tuvala armor and weapon as much as I could... I think. But I have no idea what to do now. I keep running what is called "main quest" and am currently stuck in an infinite loop of Press T - Press R as my character autoruns from pointless convo to pointless convo in Altinova. I tried reading for a while, but eventually I just gave up and try to speedrun through all that to get it done. I am probably also a moron for choosing witch as my first class. I hadn't read any guides and simply picked a waifu with what appeared to have understandable mechanics... Ofcourse, she is difficult as hell to play, something I didn't discover in my first fifty levels as the game just auto-levels you insanely fast against basic enemies. My first real fights in "grinding" areas, and I realized I had no clue after all. Am wondering about starting a new character that is maybe easier to get into, but I don't know what to pick. Whatever I say, someone will roll their eyes and say "you picked THAT class?!!?": I am not sure how long I'll be able to keep my interest at this rate.
As a returner player who got a couple friends to play. I also believe LOTML is *NOT* the way to go. That place is simply not as cool as the mainland FOR A NEW PLAYER Pacing is too fast, quests are 90% talk, 10% combat. You are not as amazed by the depth and size of the world being in a island instead of visiting different towns super different from one another... There's a lot going on that gives the game charm and is entirely lost in LOTML.
I think ancient stone chamber is better for new players cause it puts you into combat more than lotml and they can see if they like the combat of their character more that way so they can decide to switch early on rather than later
As a builder of angry robots who's projects are mostly going down the toilet due to a sick addiction known as BDO, I humbly ask that you please be kind to our future robot overlords. - Awabi IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY.... an angry robot may show up in your discord and tell you in video format its piece of mind! 😂 (edited... i cant type yet.. im watching Bluesquad videos at 7am while working on the morning coffee... what happened to me) 😂 (Although maybe not right away as I moved into a new house recently and havent reassembled most of my bots or got my workspace set up very well yet. 😅)
i definately recommend mystic, even though i havent gotten too far with that class, it is VERY op, early into the game you'd be bulldozing bosses, Red nose is so unbelivably easy with mystic its crazy.
I started 3 weeks ago and BDO good me hooked up for good. I finished EVERY single questline in Main tab, it's now empty. And i gotta say, LoML was indeed the worst questline and the Ancient one was amazing. I honestly loved all the questlines, up until LoML, that was a R-spammaroo
I had the same experience as this guy. When I started the game, loml was boring af because i felt like i was doing none of the good stuff (combat) then went to do ancient stone chamber and then the game told me to actually engage with the combat. It's as simple as that.
To me the only questline boss that gives any meaningful firsthand combat experience is red nose in velia main questline, Even as a veteran player who has many classes played for hours, when i make a new class i look forward to rednose questline fight
the game has 16 trillion words exchanged between you and npc and 4 quadrillion books of knowledge on how a mushroom is going to backstab a fairy 1800 years from now... but they cant just type "yo season has serious bonuses, play this"
You know there are side quests that walk you through life skills right? They are green. This was actually a good to rewatch video as I saw it live. There are a lot of these things that we want it just takes a while to find, and I am not sure who joins this game and expects to pen their Naru gear like right away. You don't even need that kind of score for much of the content. You don't really get enough black stones until you are doing the valencia quest line. The more expectations you have about this game the more disappointed you will be. OFC in hindsight it is all 20 20, but when I joined, it felt like they wanted to make me stay in one place a long ass time, plenty to explore and do, and I enjoyed it. I spent way too much time and money on horses. lol Bro would be stuck at mediah for a while if he really went the way the quests seem to lead you. They give you gear in those life quests too.
This is also points to the direction that developers keeps on changing everything and that not all player feedback are useful. Older version of the game was good which is why people kept playing BDO. They seems to be hell bent changing everything. They are basically making BDO that at some point nobody will recognize and for the worse.
I don't remember being a new player. Because I don't want to remember. YOU want to remember that you had to get stabbed to death by town guards so your reblath could downgrade so you could continue to build your pathetic 20-30 failstack?
In the entirety of LOML you only get to fight bosses that you basically murder. Once you're out of it, you can at least try out the combos that they have been pointing at the whole time
ive wanted to start BDO for the longest time, but i am ALWAYS put off by the fact the whole leveling process seems to be "one shot this" combat isnt fun if stuff doesnt get chance to fight back. one shotting things with flashy skills doesnt entertain after the 100th time you did it. hearing that you can start on a server where that didnt seem to be the case might sway me to try it, because funny enough, i TOO have BDO in my steam library, i think it was free at some point.
Hi blue, i'm a new player and I started on dark knight. I bought costumes on her and I feel like a moron lol. Just wondering from your perspective how does she rank PVP wise in all situations?
Oh do not feel like a moron, dark knight is a great class. If you don't believe me I made a how to choose your class guide series, and dk has a video. She excels at a lot of things. She is good in both pvp and pve. You made a good choice.
Does moew and loml give beginner blacktones when you start there instead or do they all still come from balenos serendia calpeon mediah questline? (On seasonal)
Yeah i tell people to do ancient stone chamber. Land of the morning light sucked unless you liked the story somehow. Im hoping the go back and change the rest of the ancient stone chamber play through like they did with Balenos at some point.
I seriously do not wanna be in any guilds.. I've been playing a week and I've been watching group chat. There is no way I want to be in a guild with those people
Why it's so hard for them to just make a pop-up message when you enhance it for the first time click enhance and a message appears saying if you fail you gain a failed stack but your equipment downgrade or something like that?
No idea where this "LOTML questline is better" bs comes from. It is not. Voice acting doesnt save a really uninspired, boring mountain of pointless questing. The ancient stone chamber in its revamped form IS actually more diverse and more engaging. The guy was all on point. LOTML SUCKS period and should be removed as a potential new player experience for that reason alone.
Then don't be together. It's that simple. Don't get why these couples stick around when the husband is annoyed at the wife, and she doesn't want to listen.
I am sorry BUT, people play MMO because they want it to be a complex game and to have to search for ressources how to figure out the game. Play Fortnite if it's not you ... It's so easy to ask Group chat about enhancing your Naru to PEN. This guy is pepega
i would NOT recommend Land of the 'Land of the Morning Light' for beginners, either do the original 'Ancient Stone Chamber' if you want to know the story or do 'Mountain of Eternal Winder' because its the shortest. Morning light is just too long
If they just added combat to the LoTML quest line. It's literally all-talk. It's too much emotional crap, and not enough engagement. They need to add some boss battles within the story. BDO needs it's Hogger's, and it should feel rewarding.
my hot take: people are absolutely skipping cutscenes during the big filler arcs of ff14. off the top of my head like... nearly all of the "post" MSQ quests i.e. X.1 to X.5 for any given expansion, or at least for ARR and SB and for me EW. And let's be real, there's a reason they had to go back and abridge the ARR msq. to be clear, it doesn't even compare to KMMOs like BDO and Lost Ark where the story is essentially *all* filler, but it's not always engaging in non-K mmos either.
i almost didn't make it through that horrible bidibap scene and i had just came back after a 2 year break. i had to mute the game and look away to get through it. and loml could actually be worse for older players because it feels totally disconnected from the rest of the game. yes i really did read the dialogue and it was a waste of time. with the older quests, you can simply r spam but you can't do that with half the stuff in lmol. they really should have known better releasing a disaster of a mainstory like that. i also had several issues with the game locking itself up like he did. a note about difficult bosses for a new player. back when i started, i had a hard time fighting the cyclops and i couldn't kill ferrid. this was before tuvala was a thing so i had to go away for a while to get better gear
as a new player i dont want to be in a guild because they keep spamming with their enhancement upgrades on my screen, its annoying and no way to disable it... just terrible design
I will not comply I hate questing only do when forced I have a pro tip for questing when I have to do a adv book or new quest line I get really fkin drunk then wake up in the morning with the rewards and no memory of the quests
Mountain and loml are the shittiest starting experiences of any mmo. If you honestly think that forcing new players to commit to 10 hours of the mid story on a class they don’t even know if they like, is a good idea you’re bein really goofy bruh
"LoML so good only if you are a veteran player..." Nah man i hate a few things about BDO. Questing and journals. Not because I personally hate them, but because to anyone that has seen BDO. He/she has seen me grinding with all the fancy skills, maybe even asked a question of wtf does that do? Cuz of curiosity. Only to try later to get into the game... Make a dent on their R finger and finally think they are done with questing. Only for me to tell them they now have to do meaningles tasks (journals) which will culminate into handing in literal ogre excrement for 1 ap. Also where tf is combat in LoML? It feels like PA is advertising a mobile game with shiny graphics every time I play trough any of the questlines... Excluding the Fughar blessing of being able to bless you with skipping them.
This is going to be long. I'm a newbie myself to BDO and I have a lot to say. Please read, and thank you! I'm a new BDO player, started about a month ago. A lot of this stuff is very true, but there's other things you should know about. In my case, I started at the Ancient Stone Chamber and I leveled up way too fast. For all of Balenos and Serendia, all of the enemies were Grey Named to me, wouldn't aggro, and caused no damage. The only enemies with any challenge were the first three bosses, Red Nose, Giath, and the Black Knight. After that, not even the bosses had any challenge until after Serendia. I decided to try a non-season char and server, thinking I had overleveled due to exp boosts and sidequests. I decided I would only do the main quest, and avoid any boosts. I noticed there was still a double exp boost. It was hot time. I overleveled just with that. I realized that in order for the main story quest to have any gameplay at all, not even difficulty but basic gameplay, I'd have to avoid hot time on top of everything else. One wy or the other, there was no gameplay, no combat, no learning my class. I leveled up primarily from exp from quests and dabbling with lifeskills I was most of the way through Serendia and I decided to say 'screw the story quest then, I'll just powerlevel and try the high level stuff' and went back to my main character, but there's some stuff that you need to unlock through the quests, so I started going through them. I did actually find the story a bit interesting in Serendia and Calpheon because I'm that sort of dork. I was on the Xian Merchant Guild path. So, I decided to go as fast as I could to finish the main story quest. I almost quit the game when I finished Serendia, and then I got to the Anti-Troll Fortification. The trolls had green names and were aggro and did a slight amount of damage. I had to fight and defeat them since I had to go through them just to get to the quest NPCs. I actually celebrated. Since that point, even grey name enemies have aggroed and done a little damage, and most enemies take two hits instead of one. The bosses are easy but not one hit kill with my best spell. This is a pretty serious problem. I don't think many people would have gone this far like I did. I'm a slow gamer, I take my time and look at the scenery. I only use the autowalk when I'm going someplace I know, and use the path on the minimap otherwise, to take my time, stop and smell the roses. Did you know this game is beautiful? Have you just taken a long walk in Calpheon? The game is improving, but everyone has been telling me that I'm playing it wrong. That you're not supposed to go through the quests, you're supposed to powerlevel and that the game doesn't start until 61. I'm 51. I've been playing over a month. I said I'm a slow gamer, right? For example I have 700 hours in FFXIV, primarily focused on questing, and I didn't finish Stormblood. In BDO I am in a guild, but after what you said I think I should mention that only one person has spoken to me in-game since I started. It was the person who wanted me to join their guild. They spoke well and I agreed, and I talk with folks on guild-chat, but nobody has spoken to me on local chat or whisper chat since then. I see other players, say something sometimes, I get no response. A lot of UA-cam vids about BDO tell you to start at Ancient Stone Chamber instead of LotML. I thought the recap at the start of LotML would spoil it for me. I didn't know it was optional. I'm on vacation, but when I finish my Seasonal char or if I have to start again, I will probably try LotML. There's a lot to like here, but it's broken, and you have to make it work. I was willing to do that. You already did that. How many newbies are willing to fight a game to make it fun if it isn't fun on its own?
38:00 - A lost more challenging.. yes, might be good.. but i am a valk, always will be a valk. and lemme tell you something, until you hit level 60 valk.. its trash. Pre awa is such a painful character to play if not succ...
LoML is the worst starting zone imo. It's so unique in comparison TO LITERALLY EVERYTHING else in the game (except the R spam). BDO should be putting it's best foot forward and in LoML you don't experience much of that at all. Starting at Ancient Stone Chamber is honestly the best way to start BDO, it gives you the story from the beginning and it let's you experience the combat and new skills at a natural pace. Sure EXP events can screw that up and leave you overwhelmed when you get new skills several times a minute.
bro, watching hive mind chat jump on the fact that he said he wanted a system like 'failstacks' is hilarious. failstacking is NOT a good system, our enhancement system as a whole is not good, just unique for the game so we allow it. some people might actually seek the gambling dopamine but we gotta stop defending ass systems just because its the game you main or love. like bring up bdo's shitty optimization in global chat and youll get ripped apart as if its your fault that modern high end pc's struggle to run the game in crowded areas..
LOML is literally 10 hours or torture i always, ALWAYS tell new players to start at ancient stone chamber. LOML is hot garbage R spam and they could do better, they should do better

Keep it up!
Thank you so much for that positive feedback! Keeps me going on these videos! Ty so much!
Remember us vet players are jaded as fuck we've been with the game for 5+ years. So a person whos going to love the game and stick with it is most likely going to enjoy all the same shit we loved at the start. Mediah start quest + farming helms and unlocking awakening was amazing when we first started.
That "20-hour" part is so true. 2 friends I started with quit in just 14 hours. Makes me sadt
"Idk, I ended up in some place talking to someone who said a lot of names probably important to some lore."
As a side note, I always do Ancient Stone Chamber.
Love every second of every video! True Gem of a UA-cam personality!
Whats up with the wet floor signs lol? Damn, your 2 camera set up is so funny! Keep it up man, love your content.
Another banger video! Thanks for making these, as an EU viewer can't always be there for the streams
Thanks for making my work day bearable with these heat vids
Ancient stone chamber is GOATED! LOML is the WORST questline of ALL time. I hated LOML even as a veteran player, Eternal winter was cool imo.
Ancient stone chamber is the BEST for new players bc the story is decent and you get to play your class way more.
im so glad i learned about turning server notifications off long before the brought in seasonals and tuvala gear.. imagine seeing EVERY single tuvala fail and success..
Props to mentioning FF, I cried after the msq.
starting land of morning light is the worst thing u can do. the most boring long experience ever. i went there on an ult, played for like 4 hours and wanted to kms, i put everything in storage and deleted that character. idk why hes encouraging starting it. you will have so much for fun starting ancient stone chamber and for an ult spam r for 1 hour and u get to level 51 easy peasy.
Whatever I say, someone will roll their eyes and say "you picked THAT class?!!?":
I am not sure how long I'll be able to keep my interest at this rate.
As a returner player who got a couple friends to play.
I also believe LOTML is *NOT* the way to go.
That place is simply not as cool as the mainland FOR A NEW PLAYER
Pacing is too fast, quests are 90% talk, 10% combat.
You are not as amazed by the depth and size of the world being in a island instead of visiting different towns super different from one another... There's a lot going on that gives the game charm and is entirely lost in LOTML.
This video was hilarious. Subbed!
39:27 don't be mistaken he did get that the ending was the same he's talking about the path to that same ending being different.
making a trial character fist actually sounds like a good idea for a new player
I think ancient stone chamber is better for new players cause it puts you into combat more than lotml and they can see if they like the combat of their character more that way so they can decide to switch early on rather than later
i love the part there are no bugs in bdo only features every games designers favorite moment
you saying level 61 at 20 hours as a new player start on thats exactly where im at lol love this channel big sub bro
I keep evasion roll unlocked purely because I know how much it gets to the sweaties, and its funny watching them have a breakdown over it
I still have PTSD from that unskippable loml cutscene
As a builder of angry robots who's projects are mostly going down the toilet due to a sick addiction known as BDO, I humbly ask that you please be kind to our future robot overlords. - Awabi
IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY.... an angry robot may show up in your discord and tell you in video format its piece of mind! 😂 (edited... i cant type yet.. im watching Bluesquad videos at 7am while working on the morning coffee... what happened to me) 😂
(Although maybe not right away as I moved into a new house recently and havent reassembled most of my bots or got my workspace set up very well yet. 😅)
i definately recommend mystic, even though i havent gotten too far with that class, it is VERY op, early into the game you'd be bulldozing bosses, Red nose is so unbelivably easy with mystic its crazy.
It's as simple as that.
holy shit dude, never seen your channel before youre funny as hell, i cried out loud from laughter 🤣😂 , subbed and liked! 😆
To me the only questline boss that gives any meaningful firsthand combat experience is red nose in velia main questline, Even as a veteran player who has many classes played for hours, when i make a new class i look forward to rednose questline fight
I loved mountain too. Fastest way to spam R to get through the story
Pressing ''R'' in BDO will become new Olympic sport on the next 8 years
the game has 16 trillion words exchanged between you and npc and 4 quadrillion books of knowledge on how a mushroom is going to backstab a fairy 1800 years from now... but they cant just type "yo season has serious bonuses, play this"
Blue you are the KING of BDO content, thank you for your daily efforts
your wizard looks like Tiltus lol
Oh about the how I got through the LOML story voice? I had it in Korean Voice so it don’t sound so stupid.
I don't remember being a new player.
Because I don't want to remember. YOU want to remember that you had to get stabbed to death by town guards so your reblath could downgrade so you could continue to build your pathetic 20-30 failstack?
Don't bring up my suppressed memories? Please and thank you xD
In the entirety of LOML you only get to fight bosses that you basically murder. Once you're out of it, you can at least try out the combos that they have been pointing at the whole time
Started playing a few days ago and found your channel. Love your content! Do you have any guild recommendations for beginners?
I swear my entire first week of BDO was LoML quests. Japanese voice lines got me through the cringe parts lmao
at 22:15 when the guys said the thing about his wife going left and going to loml everyone with a gf or wife knew immediately what he meant
I manage to go through all my cut scenes because I play it in Japanese, it give a anime feel to it.
We got ‘em boys
When i started the game i also went with ancient stone chamber and thought it wasnt terrible. Better than LOML imo
I thought boner tag was gonna be about a military formation with an odd shape.
More people should take that two camera setup you've got.
Great content, funny stuff
ive wanted to start BDO for the longest time, but i am ALWAYS put off by the fact the whole leveling process seems to be "one shot this" combat isnt fun if stuff doesnt get chance to fight back. one shotting things with flashy skills doesnt entertain after the 100th time you did it.
hearing that you can start on a server where that didnt seem to be the case might sway me to try it, because funny enough, i TOO have BDO in my steam library, i think it was free at some point.
If I was a new player I would have quit 5 mins in because of those trash quests.
I like to think the boobs would have kept me in for longer.
Who also always make booba smaller?
There is no way I want to be in a guild with those people
Why it's so hard for them to just make a pop-up message when you enhance it for the first time click enhance and a message appears saying if you fail you gain a failed stack but your equipment downgrade or something like that?
i think i spent my first week in BDO without a guild lol then i got kidnapped by a random guild while i was finishing jetina's quest
No idea where this "LOTML questline is better" bs comes from. It is not. Voice acting doesnt save a really uninspired, boring mountain of pointless questing. The ancient stone chamber in its revamped form IS actually more diverse and more engaging. The guy was all on point.
LOTML SUCKS period and should be removed as a potential new player experience for that reason alone.
ancient stone chamber is the best one for new players imo
22:35 How telling is it that streamer and chat alike didn't get that she chose the opposite because the husband usually gives terrible advice?
Most hated thing is all quest run RRRRR run RRR :D
How long did it take me to change my evasion roll? First aos game. Why are you rolling. Oh. My bad.
I don't buy Value Packs since PA is throwing free ones at me. Also the one day VP from loyalties is enough for me.
the secret stories on lotml made me uninstall the game when they popped up last time i played it because i couldn't take it anymore
Omg... I didn't know you could lock the shitty basic roll skill. That's huge.
Ancient stone chamber is way better though! 7 years in soon and I’ll easily take Ancient over any of the other starting areas for new chars
I will not comply
I hate questing only do when forced I have a pro tip for questing when I have to do a adv book or new quest line I get really fkin drunk then wake up in the morning with the rewards and no memory of the quests
Mountain and loml are the shittiest starting experiences of any mmo. If you honestly think that forcing new players to commit to 10 hours of the mid story on a class they don’t even know if they like, is a good idea you’re bein really goofy bruh
Goofys Trial is perfect
i’m gonna make a new player guide rn 😭
THAT scene was a lot more enjoyable in japanese
"LoML so good only if you are a veteran player..."
Nah man i hate a few things about BDO.
I leveled up primarily from exp from quests and dabbling with lifeskills
I was most of the way through Serendia and I decided to say 'screw the story quest then, I'll just powerlevel and try the high level stuff' and went back to my main character, but there's some stuff that you need to unlock through the quests, so I started going through them.
How many newbies are willing to fight a game to make it fun if it isn't fun on its own?
why doesn't PS5 get the winter land as a choice when starting a new character?
38:00 - A lost more challenging.. yes, might be good.. but i am a valk, always will be a valk. and lemme tell you something, until you hit level 60 valk.. its trash. Pre awa is such a painful character to play if not succ...
As a veteran I thought Loml was hella cringe. Magnus questline has the best story... Ez
I feel attacked i have over a year of play time and have not locked the evasion roll FIGHT ME
LoML is the worst starting zone imo.
Honestly hot take they need to fire the lore team and get a new team because i cant be the only one who has no idea wtf is going on
Lol when you said you lost alot of wait I would've said looks like you found alot too
Is that a son of Asmongold and Evildousharm?
LOML is literally 10 hours or torture i always, ALWAYS tell new players to start at ancient stone chamber. LOML is hot garbage R spam and they could do better, they should do better
Simple new player should play morning with character brain off for gold and exp. Beat it game starts at main Map but of no explanation given beat pass duvencrune then you learn the game now lol Gett pass meat shield year 1 beyond ambitious what are kkirito?
