He has built the culture, built the staff, recruited the players, installed the confidence and attitude in the players. Congrats on this amazing win Coach Freeman I know there will be many more. I’ve got to be honest with you. I met him when he was first hired at Notre Dame in 2021 as a defensive coordinator. I knew right then and there how special he would become not only based on his past performance at Ohio State, but his ability to bring out the best of everyone around him. When I was a young man, I met Bruce Lee, and never met another man or woman with the power that he had until I met coach Freeman. This is no joke. It’s obvious when people succeed they’re put on a pedestal, but freeman his down to earth, hard-working, and push his attention to detail like no other. No question there going to be back at work tomorrow going over film and preparing for Penn State. There is no stoppage only continuation an improvement. He is not only the real deal, but far more inspirational for challenging others to find the best in themselves

What a time to be alive. I’ve been a ND fan since I was 9yrs old. I remember beating West Virginia and Major Harris for the 88 National Championships. I remember losing to Colorado on a bs block in the back call that took Rockets touchdown away to win us the game. I remember the Snow Bowl against Penn State in 92’ when Ron Powlus hit Jerome Bettis in the corner of the end zone to tie the game. Then hit Reggie Brooks on the same play in the same corner for the 2pt conversion to win the game. I remember the 93 team beating #1 Florida State at home in the game of the century. But then turn around and lose to Boston College the next week at home which knocked us out of the opportunity to win the National Championship that year. I remember watching Brady Quinn and crew in 04’ against USC when we didn’t cut the grass for two weeks so their speed couldn’t beat us. Sitting on the edge of my seat because I knew we were going to win but they cheated us with the Bush Push (which by the way was illegal). I remember watching us get embarrassed by LSU in the Sugar Bowl in 06. I remember watching the 2012 team do the impossible beating Oklahoma in Norman and go undefeated with a Freshman quarterback. I member watching us lose to Clemson during a post hurricane rain storm on a goal line stand in the final seconds of the game. Man I could go on and on. There is nothing like Notre Dame football. I love it! Good bad and everything in between. It’s super cool to see a guy from my hometown lead the team I’ve loved my whole life. It’s like an extra incentive for me to brag on his behalf and tell my family and friends Notre Dame is winning with one of our own. Literally! I’m excited for the next week and the future of Notre Dame football. Man I’m so hype! GO IRISH ☘️

I was so happy when Kelly left for LSU. Couldn't stand him! I remember when Marcus got the HC job and cane in the locker room and the players went crazy! They wanted him more than anyone else in the country and they showed him that! And hes only 38!

I have loved Notre Dame since my mom took a waitress job at Legends. This is easily the best team I have watched since i was enamored with the '05-06 team. Jeff, Brady, Darius, and Co made me love this team. Marcus, Riley, Jeremiyah, Jadarian (i could go on forever) have made me really really love my team. After about halfway through his first season I wanted this man to succeed as he seems genuine to whom he projects himself to be. And I knew there would be growing pains as it being his first head coaching job, but here we are. I said before one playoff game was played that with that defense they have a punchers chance. And with every win that chance keeps growing. Halfway to the goal! GO IRISH !!
I cant say enough about the leadership of Leonard! I thought we were in big trouble with how he started the season but he got better and better each week.
