You do not need to remove the wiper, the battery and the slotted panel. If you remove the T25 screws that hold the panel, take out the loose middle section that covers the battery leads you can then release the battery (still with leads attached) and push it away from the relay box. You will probably have to wedge something to stop it sliding back, the battery clamp can do this and you should be able to flex the slotted panel up, put a small block of wood under it and that should give you enough room to get to the T20 screws on the relay box cover. The box lid seal is nearly always in poor condition, try to repair it - this box is in a very wet location. It is possible to prise off the yellow body on the relay, with two very thin screwdrivers (gentle!) and clean contacts, sometimes a contact has stuck and will come loose, try to clean with something like a points file (remember them!) or emery paper...but only if you are very patient!! (always seems to be the left that fails, wonder why?) Wire brush the box screws and WD40 them as you WILL have to do this again! (if any of you know the person who designed this please give him a slap..)

So I can not get that relay case apart I at no cost I have removed 7 small screws and two notes holding it am I'm missing a hidden sreww ?
