How to Build a Hot Dog Cart

  • Hello and welcome to our channel. Today's interesting video is about me, Lisa, a middle-aged female who decided to build a hot dog cart to generate some extra money to pay off some debt. The build took about 3 months, at a cost of about $5000. I sourced all parts from Harbor Freight, Home Depot and Sam's Club. Here's a list of items I used to build the cart:

    1. Trailer from Harbor Freight - Assembly required. www.harborfreight.com/automot...
    2. Trailer will need title and registered with your state.
    3. Plywood and particle board.
    4. Two 10 gallon blue water jugs.
    5. 5 Gallon Water Jug.
    6. Stainless steel screws.
    7. Aluminum angle.
    8. Aluminum flashing.
    9. 1 inch wood planks.
    10. Clear caulking.
    11. Chop saw.
    12. Drill w bits, screw drivers, hack saw.
    13. Restaurant depot parts (steam pans, etc.)
    14. Tarry coating for particle board.
    15. Water Pump.
    16. On-Demand Hot water heater.
    17. Propane Tank.
    18. Blackstone grill top.
    19. Speed rail for condiments.
    20. Utensils.
    21. Steam table lid.
    22. Plumbing.
    23. Stainless steel sinks plus faucet.
    24. Paint.
    25. Latches.
    26. Painters tape.
    27. Trailer wheel bearing grease.
    28. Menu Board.
    29. Order pads.
    30. Paper hot dog boats.
    31. Coolers/Ice.
    32. Condiments/food.
    33. Last but not least, a strong work ethic. Count on 2 days of work for a 1 day event.

      Well, I worked on it for 3 months sporadically. I couldn't even guess how many hours.
