@TheLion_ 9208 it's the "grandfather murder" dilemma. if you go back in time and kill your grandfather, then you wouldn't be born, which in turn leads to you not being able to go back and murder your grandfather, but then what happens with you? and then time explodes and the MIB has to come clean it up. if the Exo stranger stayed and explained the situation, then we would've been able to make preparations and prevent this supposed tradegy from happening, meaning she didn't have a reason to go back, but then who comes back and explains the situation so we can make the preparations? basically, it's complicated.
The Vex haven't gotten a good raid since Vault of Glass. Seems like the black garden is a good start. Time for Bungie to put together everything they have learned.

It's already a known fact that Quria has the powers to "Take" from trying to simulate Oryx and because Savathun taught Quria the intricacies of Hive magic. Quria created the time loop in the Dreaming City which is why Dul Incaru returns there every 3 weeks. Savathun also infiltrated the Leviathan through the Crown of Sorrow and burrowed into Calus' loyalists.

Took me a while to realize this but this is just a guess: Since we only see 1 harpy and 1 minotaur the height of a boss, come out from the portal... The harpy is Consecrated Mind and the minotaur is Sanctified Mind. But this is them before they came contact with the Darkness that is/was in Garden of Salvation, the raid that they released.

This trailer gives us SO MUCH information on how the Vex are created and I love it. I love that we have some concrete evidence to support that they're the life form in the white goo, and that it's really been visualized. Vex are just mini-mechs for a race much more powerful, and smaller than our own. Fascinating!

No. They revisited the theme. They had this idea back in the day, it didn't work out for whatever reason and they put it aside. After Forsaken, they revisited the idea. Simple as that.

Another factor would be we have never seen nor were there any places as we see in the cutscene in D1. The pyramidion is what we see here which tells me this was intended for D2. What most likely happened was that they scrapped that, decided they were going to add it into D2, most likely for Curse of Osiris. Activision probably had a substantial say in that so it never happened. I will say that leaked cutscene though definitely was not made back in D1 and was most likely made in preparation for D2's launch.

Yes we killed them in the physical realm, be then we killed them in their own ascendant Realms too. Effectively killing them.

To be clear, the Hive are much more 'associated' to being 'undead' in Destiny. The Vex qre different from that.
@@CaptainPilipinas but it's the season of the "undying". While hive can be killed, can you truly kill the vex? Vex exists throughout time, so let's say we killed Atheon. Who's to say there isn't a past version of him alive in another timeline. Or a timeline were we failed?
Oryx on the other hand was considered a king, even Crota was a prince. Yes we killed them in the physical realm, be then we killed them in their own ascendant Realms too. Effectively killing them.
This makes me believe Bungie has always wanted to do a Raid in the Black Garden, considering this was leaked nearly 3 years ago. This franchise just keeps getting better and better!

*SO, this is how the vex are born, It's fascinating to see how naturally intricate these heavy-metal-chassis can be.*
OMG They actually used this cinematic! I never thought they’d actually we actually see them elaborate on the Vex using this. For anyone that doesn’t know, an incredibly similar version of this little cinematic was leaked a little over two years ago, it was quickly(and I mean quickly) taken offline. Those of us who were able to see it can recognize the similarities. The clip has obviously been modified a bit over the years, but you can still see the inspiration
