I love Jackie as a host. I think she's very entertaining and is honest when she does not enjoy a product, which is refreshing. Please, have her review more snacks!
For those of you who are just finding this video. My wife and i go to trader Joe's twice a month. We love Indian food but for 3 people 60 a pop it can get expensive. Those Chicken Tika masala dinners taste just like the real thing. Great to eat at lunch for work or quick snack if you're too tired to cook dinner. Pair that with a pack or two of garlic Naan bread(usually right next to the Tika dinners in same isle) you're good to go. There's one with fish that is good also, turkey meatballs are great as well. I used those when I went on a no carb diet
Cauliflower gnocchi: 1. Heat a tablespoon or so olive oil in a large skillet in medium high heat 2. Add frozen gnocchi directly to the pan (do not thaw) 3. Leave the gnocchi undisturbed for 5-6 minutes 4. Right before flipping, season side one. I use salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, and garlic powder 5. Flip and cook undisturbed for four minutes. 6. Continue flipping until all sides are golden and crispy. The insides will be soft, the outsides crispy. 7. If you need to, add more oil. Don’t be afraid of olive oil. Note: Do not shuffle them around the pan. The more you mess with them, the less crispy. Note: I haven’t cooked these in the air fryer but I bet they’re good in there. Anything you want with the gnocchi, cook separately and mix together when done. I cook it with vegetables that I either roast in the oven or sauté. I have also had it with sausage and that was pretty great. I don’t make it with a sauce because I think they get soggy. I would be more prone to think of them like fried ravioli and dip in a sauce than coat them in a sauce.
Just an FYI to my fellow delish fans, if you’re interested in eating dried fruit as a healthy snack, make sure you look for some that doesn’t have extra added sugar :)
This is going to sound nuts but Trader Joe's has the best vanilla ice cream I've ever eaten in my entire life. I know what you're thinking. "How good can vanilla ice cream really be?" Guys it's that good.
I am obsessed with Trader Joe’s. Their orange chicken and Kung pao chicken are on point. Lol and I always air fry the s’mores they are heavenly. I barely have anything I hate from there.
Other TJ's Favorites: Truffle Mushroom Flatbread Dried Mandarin Oranges Plantain Chips Meat Balls (Vegan/Soy) Kettle Popcorn (Pink & White Bag) Mini Tacos Vegetarian Thai Gyoza Blue Corn Tortillas with Green Verde Sauce Corn Pudding (I never thought I would've liked it but one Thanksgiving my aunt brought it and it was a WRAP)
Yesss! Along w the bbq teriyaki w some of their fried rice, and whip up some easy lo mein 😋 I get their fridge aisle tikka masala or frozen butter chicken w garlic naan to save on Indian take out too lol.
@@stephanieann9890 Oh, we haven't tried them but I'll definitely put them on my list. My daughter loves raspberries 👍 I get the best recommendations from the comments. Thank you💖
You can also ask to try the food while you’re in the store. They’ll open it up and let you sample. Well, this might not be true right now during the pandemic but it was true previously.
The dip round it comes down to if you feel like having meat (buffalo chicken) or not (cauliflower & jalapeno.) Spanakopita wins...every...time. Snacks it comes down to if you want sweet (chile mango) or savory (spicy mochi.) The dumplings hands down. Lava cake FTW! Whole Foods also has the dark chocolate pb cups (I know Reese's does as well) so I'd like to try both WF and TJ at the same time to compare. Great video, thanx! ~Be Blessed
I really want to speak to who made this top 25 list? Y'all ain't right. First of all how the carmelized onion dip didn't make the top dips I'm baffled. For appetizers the vegetable nests and the pastry pups are heavenly. The snack section was ALL wrong like I am baffled at this selection. The jalapeno corn and rice puffs are CRACK, the bamba is incredible (in either flavor), and puffed cheese doodles are the best. Dinner wise how the gyoza or fried rice in any flavor did not make the list is criminal. The dark chocolate peanut butter cups are crack LOVE them so I'm happy they made the list. But I have a bone to pick with this list maker.
Also, I love to mix the Indian dishes, like the spicy chicken curry and the chana masala. Stretches out the meal and really yummy combo. And two boxes of the full meals are fewer than 800 calories!
I cant believe after all this time, I've still never gone to a Trader Joe's. The prices really intrigued me. I didn't realize they're so affordable. I wonder if the strong inflation in the past year affected these products much... I'll have to stop into a store soon.
I really love their frozen gnocchis. And they give enough for a complete meal on nights you don’t feel like cooking anything. Excellent TJs haul review!
I love this! I’m ready to hit the nearest Trader Joe’s store! I have tried many of these items and agreed with her same tastes. Ready to try some new ones!
The cauliflower gnocchi need to go in the air fryer. Do that and toss in brown butter it is amazing I don’t eat them any other way. Never follow the package instructions for this one thing.
Thanks for doing this! You don't see advertising from TJ as it is against company policy. So this helps their customers get more insight. I LOVE TRADER JOES! One of my favorites is the Truffle Chicken Pate! YUM!
Jackie maybe you should try all the peanut butter pretzels filled brands and do a pretzel dip in the peanut butter jar…and start from the best to least favorite
This is my first time seeing this Jackie person on UA-cam and let me just say I want to be her best friend. I love this video so much and love the way she reacts!
NGL I thought Stouffers had the best mac and cheese for the longest time until I tried Trader Joe's mac and cheese. It is ridiculously good and worth ever penny spent.
@@agirlyhasnoname There's a gluten-free one at Trader Joe's. :). If you don't like that one, try the vegan Amy's brand. They are gluten-free, dairy free, etc.
As a Canadian I have only experienced a trader Joe's once or twice ! But all over Instagram I see the mini ice cream cones all over .. shocked they didn't make this video.
Jackie you said shedded cheese instead of shredded cheese for the buffalo chicken dip. Also... They have a curry fish (i think it's curry)... One of my favorites!!!
The tikka masala samosas are one of my faves that you didn’t feature here. Also, the pelmeni are sooo good with butter and the organic sour cream with the cows on the label. 😋
I'll be honest, I thought the spanakopita was bad. I also got enticed by the idea of spinach dip in a crispy shell, but it was actually quite disappointing. The filling was dry and the spinach tasted like it had been in the freezer for years. It might have been, at that.
I just learned that TJ recently opened a store near me and I’m so excited. Thanks for this fun video and the great recommendations. Mandarin orange chicken and lava cakes are the first items on my list.
ahhh you missed so many good things! the best frozen app is the vegetable bird nests. you’re def right about the mac and cheese bites being disappointing. best snacks are their version of takis, the crispy okra, and the tamari crackers! those ghost pepper chips are fire too but you tried them 😋
Those dark chocolate peanut butter cups.... CRACK!! I just brought some a week ago after winging myself off of them a few years ago and they still taste AMAZING! 😊😊
I can attest to the returning a product. I bought chicken that went bad within one day. I didn’t even have to show the receipt ( I went and picked out another one ) no questions asked.
My son and I both love snacking on the Unexpected Cheddar. Seriously, we'll eat it straight out of the bag! I have to make sure to buy at least two bags so we don't fight over it. LOL
This was fantastic! Going shopping there asap ❤ love your style and format! More please, especially since you can order on line if distance/health etc are constraints!
I love how she’s being honest with the appetisers instead of just saying how great everything is and being fake
Yep! They could of picked better appetizers as well. What about the smoked salmon, smoked trout, vegetable rolls, mini pizzas & more....
Yes!! If the taster loves everything it makes me skeptical of what they’re saying.
I love Jackie as a host. I think she's very entertaining and is honest when she does not enjoy a product, which is refreshing. Please, have her review more snacks!

Thank you I bought some on impulse and wasn’t sure how to fix them. Trader Joe’s cooking direction are often a bit inaccurate
"Smells like a bagel from Starbucks" is one of the most tragic Californian food lines in history
Tragic
lol I knew somthjng was off about this description of a bagel
hearing it hurt my soul
"if you put it on a plain bagel, it'll taste like an everything bagel" ....sent me
HAHA when it wasnt some local authentic bagel shop i was like STARBUCKS???
Trader Joe’s has some delicious snacks and appetizers.
Also, Julia and Jackie need to make a new video together soon!
Pro tip: pan fry the cauliflower gnocchi instead of following the package directions, it's SO much better
Pop it in the air fryer, your life will be changed forever lol
The Trader Joe’s soup dumplings are 100% a staple in my house
Those are the best.
You know what else is great? The chocolate sunflower cups. Those are always sold out and so delicious
PMS chocolate lava cake. Perfect
Seeing her put soooo much dip on her chips gave me anxiety for some reason 😅 the ratio was just so off on some of those chips lmao
Lmaoo right in was waiting for someone to say it
I*
I mean thats how you enjoy dip to me it bothers me when ppl just dip the tip like ur not getting any flavor
Lol omg me to I thought I was tripping how much anxiety that gave me

Yes.
I love how much dip she picks up because same
I love her commentary! She is really good at describing the items and her experience in a way that I have some new items to try!
I absolutely love Jackie on Delish. Especially June teaching Jackie to cook. This is great, too.
Try their lamb vindaloo. I pair it with their frozen garlic naan. It's spicy and delicious. It's my favorite frozen dinner from Trader Joe's.
This is going to sound nuts but Trader Joe's has the best vanilla ice cream I've ever eaten in my entire life. I know what you're thinking. "How good can vanilla ice cream really be?" Guys it's that good.
Top it off with cookie butter
The *crunchy* red jar MMM!
Coffee Icecrean too‼️‼️
I am obsessed with Trader Joe’s. Their orange chicken and Kung pao chicken are on point. Lol and I always air fry the s’mores they are heavenly. I barely have anything I hate from there.
Something I found to add to the hate list - their toothpaste. It's really bad.
The hatch chile mac and cheese, chocolate ice cream cones, and kimchi fried rice..... ahhhh so good.
Agreed about all of those.
Great recommendations! The hatch Chile Mac and cheese is their best flavor

The mandarin orange chicken is the bomb. We buy 5 bags at a time. It is my go to when I want Chinese.

I’m sorry, Trader Joe’s has a return policy? You can declare the snack whack and take it right back to the rack?
Yup.

They also let you try the wine too. Well before the pandemic you could try before you buy.
Dude those dark chocolate peanut butter cups are AMAZING !! def dangerous lol
Yes, and so does Aldi.
I needed this honest review. Trader Joe's is god but not unquestionably great the way some people act.
Try their potstickers! Thin wrapper goodness in soups!
Trader joes used to have another supplier for the mac and cheese bites and now they just don't taste the same 😭😭
The Chipotle Vegetable Quesadillas are AMAZING!!! The Black Bean Taquitos are sooo good too!
Really can't decide who my favorite host is among Jackie, June and Julia, I love them all girls, they're the kind of people I'd like to be BFF with!
Right!!! Same here!!!!!
As an American living in the UK, I MISS TRADER JOE'S SO MUCH! PB cups, I love you....
The dark chocolate pb cups are the best 🧡

Who else teared up watching her eat that lava cake. 🥺🤤
I think she needed a sponge afterwards. J/S.

jackie: the texture’s so good
She is so fun to watch. I need more videos with her!
Personally I appreciate the big bites and heavy dip ratio! That’s how it’s meant to be eaten!
I wish Trader Joe's would go virtual. I would shop monthly.
I’m pretty sure it would be wild. I think they want to stay a medium size franchise
Also, I love to mix the Indian dishes, like the spicy chicken curry and the chana masala. Stretches out the meal and really yummy combo. And two boxes of the full meals are fewer than 800 calories!
The butter chicken entree (frozen) is awesome! I am obsessed!
we need june to come try some stuff with jackie one day. that combo is THE best.
I also agree that sweet spreads .... “cookie butter, almond hazelnut spread” is better with fruit 🤗
Thank you for actually giving your opinion and not just saying everything is great.

The mandarin orange chicken, and cookie butter are among my favorites. FYI... the plantain chips and veggie samosas are amazing too.
Triple Ginger Cookies before they ruined them. Now they're fluffy and pale. Before they were dark, snappy, and spicy with more ginger pierces.
I always feel guilty eating dried fruit... cuz the sugar intake is HIGH!
The spinach dip should have definitely made the list !

No it doesn’t. I eat a LOT of lobster and it’s not there for me. It’s not sweet enough. At least not for Maine lobster.
