bevel with 'vray way' isnt working when rendering with CPU on Vray 5, only work when it rendered with GPU, any ideas how to solve it?...

I'm using this workflow while rendering on CPU as well as GPU. It should work both ways. If not, try to use a new Bump, not the one that is built in Generic material type. Maybe that would help?

@@modelup it works, but i need to switch the bump type to bump texture channel so it can be rendered with CPU, thanks!

Not sure if I understand your question, but dirt is just whole another story. Maybe we will cover a subject of dirt along the edges in the next tutorial 👍

@@modelup how to have broken edges, not perfect edges! i know that in 3dmax vray you put a dirt map in the roundedges in the bump chanel but in vray for sketch dont work the same way.

@@nunomota9838 Still not sure if I understand your question, but if you want imperfect, bevelled edges, just go through all of the videos suggestions and load a dirt map in Edges Color slot.

@@modelup I would like to see a detailed guide on getting started with V-Ray. I'm struggling too much in getting perfect light setting for my models. Professionally I'm civil engineer I run a design studio in Pakistan. Due to problem stated above I outsource rendering of models. The which should go in my pocket goes to someone else :(
