I'm using this workflow while rendering on CPU as well as GPU. It should work both ways. If not, try to use a new Bump, not the one that is built in Generic material type. Maybe that would help?
Not sure if I understand your question, but dirt is just whole another story. Maybe we will cover a subject of dirt along the edges in the next tutorial 👍
@@modelup how to have broken edges, not perfect edges! i know that in 3dmax vray you put a dirt map in the roundedges in the bump chanel but in vray for sketch dont work the same way.
@@nunomota9838 Still not sure if I understand your question, but if you want imperfect, bevelled edges, just go through all of the videos suggestions and load a dirt map in Edges Color slot.
@@modelup I would like to see a detailed guide on getting started with V-Ray. I'm struggling too much in getting perfect light setting for my models. Professionally I'm civil engineer I run a design studio in Pakistan. Due to problem stated above I outsource rendering of models. The which should go in my pocket goes to someone else :(

bevel with 'vray way' isnt working when rendering with CPU on Vray 5, only work when it rendered with GPU, any ideas how to solve it?...
