Now we need Lukewarm VR, where everything is in slow-motion except for us, but if we stop moving, everything fast-forwards.
I wish this game had a replay function in real-time so you could see how fast you were going.
Fr,more games(in general) need a replay feature.
Unfortunately, this'd be pretty expensive to do properly, especially with VR, since you wouldn't have control and if it stayed in your POV it would be nauseating

So it actually copies what it'd feel like if you really did have super speed- you're moving at a normal pace, but everyone else slows down relative.

Proud to announce I'm finally an owner of my very own oculus quest 2!
Bought it brand new and everything. I've been watching you on and off for a couple years now but have been watching pretty consistently for the past few months and you have been the main reason I even got one!
now the question is do you think it's just a gimmick? so many think it is and they haven't even tried vr. i'm only getting a quest because it is the cheapest for me to use on my pc. i don't want to walk around irl while in vr. so many do though.
do you like 'standalone' or pc vr better?

@@caliginousmoira8565 After having it for a few days, I really don't see it as a gimmick? It functions really well and I don't have access to a super powerful PC so being able to play a lot of surprisingly advanced games on it has been really nice. There's a tank in graphics because it's a portable system but it does it's job well without being super gimmicky, the only thing that was like oh wow this is cool but I'm never going to use it again was the hand tracking but I'm sure some people actually get a lot of use out of it
@@caliginousmoira8565 you can have both though, the quest 2 can work with your PC with the link cable, air link, virtual desktop, or ALVR. I can personally vouch for VD being pretty good quality for wireless play :)

I feel like if there was a stamina meter for super speed mode, it would be more challenging.
Like if you had to stop for 1-3 seconds to regenerate your super speed, before moving fast again.
That way the player would be forced to find a safe spot, and think their next move before continuing.
A dynamic between both fast and slow, like superhot.

Cold VR is really cool but time can be perceived differently, so we didn't NEED the opposite of Super Hot because the human mind slows things down anyways on its own when it enters flow state or other hyper awerness states.
Granted in reality it doesn't slow down nearly as much as Cold VR but it still does happen.
