  • Welcome back to Slammed Outdoors, this video is the first of the Caesars Creek Fishing videos that I'll be making for 2024. This video was a first for me, I started the day Crappie Fishing which was slow due to high winds and temperature changes, we decided to fish a point that had some good lumber which usually holds Crappie and I hooked something which I thought was most likely a bass, however shortly after I hooked it the fish started peeling Drag and seemed to get a lot larger. A Muskie in the 34-38 Inch range attempted to eat my bass and I somehow managed to get my 1/0 Dropshot hook to catch in the Muskie's mouth as the poor bass was stuck on the line. We successfully landed both fish, the muskie was unhooked safely and released. I didn't have the proper net to land the fish with me due to the fact that I was crappie fishing and never envisioned hooking a muskie. I am not much of a Muskie Fisherman so if someone who is and is reading this could comment some tips regarding handling these fish, netting them, or even any fishing tips for Muskie that would be appreciated. As always remember to like and subscribe it really helps the channel, I'll be linking the tackle that I used to land this fish in case anyone was curious.
