My Dad would absolutely love " All of these channels " Showing n doing the all this stuff ! .......... Thanks to all of you who share this !( Love from Dad ) - Me i love it too now that im older ! Thanks all
Thanks Tim.
That brings back memories from when I was a child of starting our old Lister Generator, which ran about 12 lightbulbs, and not a lot else, and easily took up twice the space of that motor.
We finally had electricity connected to the farmhouse, but that Lister will always have a soft spot in my heart.
Oh, that pulsing noise, very slightly different to the Generator, but still so evocative. ❤
Yes it is, Thanks for sharing your story too.
Love the sound of those old engine's. I'd happily have one in my shed. It's like music to me. Best wishes to malc, he is from a different generation when people appreciated what they had.
Great to see the lister over 2 channels, Malcolm is so passionate about it 👍
Cheers Bud.
Great Vlog Martin. Can't wait to see you restore that lantern.
Malcs a star proper old school , keep the videos up watching all time steve.
Cheers Steve
That takes me back to the early 70s working in a brickyard, twin cylinder lister engine trucks taking bricks into the kiln. Many a time the crank handle would kick back and whack your hand, spot on about holding the crank handle properly.
What a beautiful sound that engine has...I could listen to that for hours
Old engineering at its best Brian.
I love the sound of these old engines.
Good to see Malc Of Lincoln again.
That was a maze video clip you put up there it was good to see it and old vintage machine .👍👍
Don't get me started on the friggin EU Martin...
Near where I live in South Leeds area there's this paint factory...
They did a special order of some paint stripper to get some stuff off a wooden floor in this pub I used to go in...
It were that strong you couldn't stay in the building when they put it on the floor...
Powerful vapours...
I've a load of Lister and Petter diesel engines..
Diesel welders...
Diesel water pumps
Diesel hydraulic power pack
Allsorts...🇬🇧👍
Just finished a bottle of nitromors from about 10 years ago, mega strong and worked amazing, went and purchased a new bottle and it was shocking, so yeah I'm with you, nothing like it used to be
Yeah your right there it doesn't taste like it used to 😂😂😂
That’s a great looking engine Martin I remember mal when you went to he’s house before I think it was about a Briggs engine

I've checked your Retrohax channels and started doing some restorations of my own. Where i live the street signs are all faded and the frames are rusty so ive painted them all up. Many people have complemented me for doing it.
