Hi Simon and others, Looking at game 3, the exchange French. The preferred position for black is 0-0-0, Nc6 and Ne7, Bd6, Bg4, Qd7, king side pawns on h7 (5), g7 (5) and, most importantly, f6! The e7 knight is indeed looking for the f5 square and you start a k-side attack, supported by the important f6 pawn.
A lot of this is very advanced for me, but I always feel I learn someting when i watch your videos and you are such a funny nice person as well, always enjoy your vids :)
what would you recommend to main defence (for a begginer-intermediate player) against d4 between dutch and english defence?. I loved your London system for the busy player at chess.com and now I want to go for your english defence course or your classical dutch course there (I hope that both courses gives middle game ideas and atacks like the london course).
Simon you always mention that you don't understand the computer's accuracies remember the engine also takes into account when you don't play the best move but still a good move, the score won't be that high, even though you played very good same if you see a mate in 7 but there was a mate in 4 then you get a worse accuracy, that actually means "accuracy"
1:25:20 "that's when the computer is right !!" yeah that was a nice game. @Ginger GM i feel like you are similar to me (although generally better at chess) but you can play really superb sometimes when really it doesn't matter who you are playing you can just bring it.... other times ... not so much. On a smaller scale, i'm really like that also.
Hey man, I've been a huge fan for years, especially your "Longer Games." You are hilarious and I've learned a ton from watching you. I'd love to interview you on my show, about the chess world in general, and also your thoughts on whether this "Queen's Gambit" show that everyone's so obsessed with is really "about chess" or whether it's just a drama show with a chessboard in it.
Computer accuracy ratings: I recently played a game where I blundered my queen on about move 7, then won with checkmate when my opponent missed my hanging queen. The computer gave me an accuracy rating of 97+. Why? Shouldn't it be under 90? Less than 10 moves and I blundered my queen!
It's been so long youtube missed you
A long but entertaining drive with Granddad Master Williams! Thank you, old chap. *
* You're not that old, cut it out, you're still up there!
Hello Simon, really good stuff what you provide. I have enjoyed it. Please more of this. Thx.
Wow that first game was intense!
More videos please. You have a unique ability to make complicated games very simple. 👍👍👍
and he's also the best at complicating a simple position!!
Love it!! You're the best Mr. Williams!
Really enjoyed watching GingerGM
Love your TT, keep up the great work, mate !
more youtube content please!
so enjoyable!

Missed Simon so much I've been watching Gotham and Hikaru too much
Simon is really underrated. I always understand his thought process more than that of any other chess player. He deserves more love
Simon is the coolest
Sounds exactly like me lol
What about John Bartholomew? He is the UA-cam chess goat in my opinion.
Simon's play seems too weak. He always gets into precarious positions. I like Ben Finegold more. He plays solid and also very entertaining.
By far the best chess on UA-cam, and likely any other platform as well. Ginger president
Great as always. Self deprecating unlike many egos out there.
looking well Simon please keep pumping out the blitz footage!
Just excellent 👌 !!!!! Merci 🙏
Thank you Simon . Always a pleasure. In the second game Bd3 and retake with the pawn usually works for me.
A lot of this is very advanced for me, but I always feel I learn someting when i watch your videos and you are such a funny nice person as well, always enjoy your vids :)
Thanks Simon that was a good run!
That bird shit comment, was hilarious
Yes! the Ginger is back!!!

Dutch is an opening for black against 1.d4. English is an opening for white.
@@Andha1 There is also a English defense againts d4
@@TheJulijiji I googled it. You're correct. But I would always recommend the Dutch. At any level. :)
@@Andha1 Thanks, then I will finish the chess.com course of the classical dutch by GingerGM .

What was reason hikaru not treating Eric hansen fairly
please show the standings at the end, thank you

it might sound shocking but Simon Williams is my favorite chess player
The guy who resigned after losing a piece just quit the tournament afterwards.
the dutch at 1hour 46 minutes is interesting

It was because of his videos that I started playing the bird. I'll be forever grateful. People don't know what the hell to do in response.

6minutes in, so funny. People are indeed stupid. Just go away really lol.

Yep
17:10 if you play c4 and nc3 instead of nf3 you dont need to worry about Bf5 !

Simon always starts playing his crap openings whenever hes doing well in titled Tuesday
I love you Simon, but honestly you are getting old! Those kids destroy old men like us unless we create chaos on the board
