Lol him on the toilet killed me! XD! but hey Jazza! I am thinking about getting the 24 HD when I get more and more into my artisitic studies, I wanted to know if you had any pointers from a learning artist?
Draw with Jazza * I just bought my husband the Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 for Christmas and I was trying to figure out a good glove to get for him and am sooo thankful I remembered you mentioning one in this video! Question, the one you use, is it the name brand SmudgeGuard or are you just using the words Smudge Guard generally for all Artists Gloves? I am sorry if this is a silly Question. I just do not want to get my hubby something that seems like it would work and have it be nothing but poo. I have really enjoyed your videos since I found you a few days ago and you really helped solitify my decision to get my husband the best verses a knockoff so thank you very, very much for your help!
10 bit color means the value of each color (RGB) is between 0 and 1023 instead of 8 bit which is between 0 and 255. Essentially , you can see a lot more colors, but only if your image has 10 bit color as well.
I just used my tax return to get an Intuos Draw. I'm hoping it will make my future uploads much better, as up untill now I've been using a mouse to draw xD
he's explaining his expierences with it, it's not just a some random "so I'll show you now how this thing looks" type of review, on his channel are enough videos of him using it. he is telling his experience and impressions, that's his type of review for this. not including a speedpaint doesn't make it any less of a review.
Goran Stoil don't trust them because? Because they don't say wacom on them? The commas made the comment unclear, and I think the question was for Jazza
I go to school for animation and visual effects , my school has the 24inch version of this in class for the students, eventually am I going to need to buy this product down the road of my future career? I hate the fact the idea that I have to be at school to do projects and homework just because I don't have this sketch computer at home.
Hey Jazza! My first tablet was the Bamboo, than I upgraded to the Intuos 4 and yesterday got the DTZ-1200W which is like Wacom's original Cintiq and surprisingly enough it works fantastic for a dinosaur and they hold they're value extremely well for being 8 years old. Great product and awesome review sir!
humm id rather pay the extra buck to get cintiq intuos pro is kinda expensive too but then again ill never prolly get any more tablets because i suck at using them
Dude, for the longest time I didn't understand why I found your reviews unsatisfactory. I think I have the answer now. When you're reviewing a product, show us the unboxing, setup, and the workflow. Show us the actual product, not your face. This video is 99% you staring into the camera and talking about the tablet. Really a bad format for a review.
Thanks for the heads up about DisplayPort. My videocard (a GeForce GTX 570) doesn't seem to have it. It is around 6 years old but it hasn't failed yet to run any game I want to play. A new graphics card is a non-trivial expense when you're already sinking so much into a Cintiq.
DonAdwick he just spent several thousands on this, you want him to spend several thousands in another expensive all around super art machine? That's a dream world, he's not made of money, get one of the other, getting both would just be madness
First off, this was 9 months ago; Secondly this person is not saying that he should just spend his money for the hell of it. Lastly Jazza gets some things to REVIEW that the company sends him to review so people will buy their product.
Cloverr AJ one big difference between the two is the surface is a non upgradable pc so will very quickly date and become useless whereas the cintiq is a massive touch pad that connects to any pc which happens to be readily upgradable as required.
Hi I am just learning at the moment and I don't really understand how it works. I used an old graphics tablet which doesn't have a display just to see how it feels, but I don't really get it when it comes to those that have displays. Do you plug the device into a laptop or pc and see what you should see on the laptop or pc or do you install an operating system on the tablet itself and then don't need any other device? Thanks
I have a serious question,I can't really find similar topics on forums ... How does the screen impact your eyesight? I'm using one of those oldschool tablets without a screen, plugged to the PC.(My monitor is Samsung SyncMaster S22B150) I get eye strains often and before I buy the Wacom Cintiq 13HD I want to ask if you have noticed a difference between a desktop monitor and a tablet screen?
It's been 9 months since I broke down and dumped my whole pitiful savings into buying my first tablet, the Wacom Cintiq 13HD, and it has been so good to me. Of course, I probably would've been too chicken shit to spend $900 if I didn't have the information I got from your videos. so I have you to thank once again for your overflowing wisdom and talent.
*_IF_* I had your Cintiq, I too would put the portable express-key-thingie in a drawer. I'm a devout user of Clip Studio Paint (what an awful name!) and its keyboard shortcuts offer a smooth, powerful workflow with my 21UX model. But built-in touch panning and zoom features do sound nice... Great review, Jazza!
Friend ... have spent 5 years of that mode 24 hdl, today there is a new generation Cintiq 27-inch QHD in ... I have not seen a live but I imagine they're awesome, bought a 13-inch HD Companion, the display and resolution are good without being great, but today in 2016 have had a wonderful opportunity to buy an old (an apology so if you think an insult to his team) Cintiq 24 HD not touch on such a cheap price I was tempted impossible ... 650 dollars, delivering new home (I live in Mexico ... that explains my bad writing in English jajajaj) do you think it was a good idea? Is that bad resolution 24 hd? My dream is to buy the 27 qHD but it is still very expensive ... also had the opportunity to buy two cintiq 22 hd only pen ... but the resolution is a bit bad ... worse resolution 24HD? I think the price of 650 dollars for the new team and boxed unopened ... was an impossible temptation to let go ... just tell me ... I'm horribly disappointed when you turn the screen? Is very frightening the resolution? Greetings from Mexico.
Ah man drooling so much right now, I'm getting a 13HD soon to replace my Intuos but perhaps I also can get a 27QHD in 3 years time!!! Thanks Jazza for the eye candy.....(Take that anyway you wish)
Aw I really wanted to hear about the touch feature. I kinda want to get the touch but at the same time I don't want to wear it out and then have it effect the rest of the cintiq. The only other concern I have with the touch feature is if it registers the palm of my hand and moves the canvas while I draw. Can you say anything on this matter with the touch feature (I mean after all its a few $100 more and thats alot).
Hey Jazza! You should look into getting some noise cancelling foam for your office space! It removes the reverb or echo you hear in the background and makes your voice sound much smoother
Hi Jazza , I started following you up recently and it would mean a lot to me if you check out my works and whenever you got time and give me some feeds in order to help me out get in to the right track. cheers.
_Here are some pointers for anyone who thinks they may be in the same predicament as Jazza with respect to their graphics card. Also, I am somewhat of an expert on the subject of personal computing- so you can trust what I have written._ *_But first, some basic teachings:_* This QHD monitor is at a resolution of 2560x1440 as opposed to the traditional 1920x1080. The reason it is called Quad-HD is because it has four times the pixel count of the standard HD: 720p. HDMI as a display transmitter was previously only capable of driving a 4K screen at 24 FPS. With the extra bandwidth in HDMI 2.0, 60 FPS is possible. DisplayPort is the newest and most advanced display type available on the consumer market. With DPort 1.3, 30 FPS is achieveable at a resolution of 8K. _For all intensive purposes, DisplayPort is the only real option for this monitor._ Getting the screen's native resolution of 1440p might be possible if the monitor supported HDMI 2.0 as well as your personal computer. But Cintiq doesn't list this specifically on their site, so DPort is the best bet. _Protip: YOUR DISPLAY IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR WEAKEST LINK._ I.e. if you have an old HDMI cable only capable of driving 1080p plugged into a 4K monitor, you will only see 1080p. This applies to almost everything with computers. I won't even talk about DVI and VGA (the display cords with the pins)... if you're using either of those, you're better off buying/building a totally new computer. *_Upgrading your graphics card:_* *Mac Users:* Apple computers do not allow customization in any way, except maybe memory. Newer model Macs may have Dport, so look out for that. *Laptop Users:* If you're on a laptop and don't already see a DisplayPort port anywhere on it- you're out of luck. You can't buy a graphics card with a DPort port and slam it into your laptop. Graphics cards (GPUs- for graphics processing units) in laptops generally come sautered to the motherboard, so removal is near impossible, unless you really know what you're doing. On top of this, most all laptops are made so that upgrading any component besides memory or storage is not even remotely possible. Remember, your weakest link in the display chain is what you'll see. So if you buy an HDMI to DPort adapter for your laptop- you will not be happy. *Desktop Users:* If you're on a desktop (unless it's really, very old)- you can upgrade the GPU. I'll try to make this as simple as possible, but given the fact that there are so many scenarios with desktops and GPUs, this may be a bit technical. If you are on a pre-built, bought PC that has no dedicated (visible, standalone) graphics card, chances are getting a GPU to drive DPort may prove quite difficult. But first, check to see if your motherboard's IO (the rear of your computer) has a DPort port. A few newer pre-builts without a GPU do support DPort. If you don't have a visible GPU, this means that your computer has an IGPU, or integrated graphics built right into your CPU. If you want to upgrade your GPU to support DPort, here are the things you need to watch out for: 1) Power: You need to check how many watts your desktop's power supply unit (PSU) can dish out, and how many watts your new GPU will need to function properly. If you don't already have a dedicated GPU, you will absolutely have to upgrade your PSU if you intend to install a GPU, or face the risks of computer damage. If you already have an existing dedicated GPU, you may not have to upgrade your PSU, because your current GPU may have near or more wattage than your intended newer one. With advances in technology, newer GPUs are more powerful than older ones and are often more energy-friendly. Find your pre-bought's specs and make sure you can handle a new GPU. 2) PCI-E Compatibility: This isn't really a big issue for most tech-savvy, but I thought I'd mention it anyways because a lot of pre-builts are pretty low-end when it comes to PCI-E slots. Most gaming-grade graphics cards need a PCI-E 16x slot (the biggest) for the most power draw and bandwidth. Some slightly slower gaming-grade GPUs only need an 8x slot (smaller) for less power draw. To my knowledge, PCI-E 4x and 1x slots are not used for GPUs. Make sure your computer's specs support your intended GPU's PCI-E type. Also, the generation of the PCI-E slot can have an effect on your GPUs performance. I.e. if you have a PCI-E 8x GPU of Gen 3.0 in a PCI-E 8x slot of Gen 1.0, your graphics will run at the 1.0 level. I think the generations also have an effect on power draw, so watch out for that. 3) GPU Size: Again, not a big issue, but make sure your GPU can fit in your computer's case. What you're looking for here is the GPU's length and the 'max supported length' for GPUs in your pre-built's specs. You can also measure this yourself. *_I hope this helped any of you, because I know this can be a confusing area of computing for many._* If you need any more help, I would recommend running through the channel 'LinusTechTips' for additional assistance. Regards, Yeti
Hello anyone here please help me!! I bought a second hand ergo stand for my Wacom Cintiq 27 Touch, but the 4 silver screws (of the silver and the black ones) are missing. I would love to mount the Cintiq, but I need to know the size of the missing screws. The pitch should be something like around 12mm, but I'm missing the width! Please, if anyone has them in handy and could tell me the size, I'd be very grateful! THANK YOU :=)
my PC is 10 years old.... my Graphic card is 7 years old......... I can't afford a new computer how am I going to get that f*cking awesome cintiq?? T____T
Sorry but all these monitor based drawing painting devices like cintiqs are full of design faults UA-cam is full of films showing this fact, and they should be avoided at all costs, I use a intuos 4XL tablet that’s built like a tank, and it costs a ¼ of the price of the 27 cintiq and my intuos 4XL is connected to my 27 inch 5K iMac, so given the fact Wacom don’t make a graphic monitor that’s got 5k resolution. and the best image display the cintiq 27 can offer is 2.5k. I will never change over from my intuos 4 XL tablet and 5k IMac all the cintiqs do is nothing more than feed (G, A, S) Gear Acquisitions Syndrome, and are just an overpriced illusion, that is full of faults and design problems. And the overpriced smudge glove wow! like any fingerless wool or cotton glove that costs half the price and you get two gloves in a set, will not do the same job! really? They say a fool and his money are easily parted ;0) p.s. felt i should say I have a BA fine Art degree with (hons)
First of all, thanks for all the great content you create. I have followed the channel for a while, but for some reason only got to this video now. You probably don't care, but since I know I thought I would share. That it can show 10 bit colours is simply a more precise and technical way of saying it can show 1.07 billion colours. A digital display usually has 3 colour channels; r, g and b. It works in binary with each channel having 10 bits: 2^10 = 1.024 colours, and then having three channels: 1024^3 = 1.073.741.824 colours.
I have Cintiq 24HD Touch , is it really going to be worth upgrading $ to 27qhd Touch in the terms of getting crispier sharper image resolution? In another words comparing 1920x1200 on 24” vs 2560x1440 on 27” , practically better , worth it ? Or no? Thanks in advance!
Awesome channel, but I'd like to make a small suggestion about these device reviews: You lightly touched on the issue (about yourself having an outdated GPU), but it'd still be helpful to have more details on these little things that typically induce insanity. Anyway, would you mind going into more detail about the cables and the options surrounding what to expect with them? The reason is that there a so many different GPUs with different outputs that it'd be nice to know what to expect with the 'in-box' cables and whether or not a current workstation setup is even doable. e.g. my extra monitor requires a displayPort and already occupies that single slot on my GPU. My current Cintiq uses the DVI port, so would a DVI to displayPort cable even work? Cool channel, great artwork.
Jazza, I really like you, and wacom products are great but it is just so hard to justify such a tremendous price. I currently have a Ugee UG-2150 witch is a 21,5 inch HD device with similar specs (colors, levels of pressure, resolution, IPS panel) to the wacom 22HD and even has some advantages, like the thinner bezels and an included stand. But the best about it is that it only cost me 500$ with shipping included, witch is about 1/4 of the wacom counterpart. I have it for 6 months now and it works flawlessly! What i want to say is that you (maybe unintentionally) are pushing people to buy wacom since you only talk about them and it is the only brand you seem to know, and as a result people may spend 500$ in a wacom device that cant even measure up to other less known brands. To everyone out there that wants to buy a tablet, inform yourself and you will not regret it.
Facepalm* The toilet completely took me by surprise. This video was extremely helpful. My Cintiq 21UX just broke so I'm going to need a replacement. I recently started watching your videos so I can get into animation and I find your tutorials very helpful. I would like to get this tablet but I wanted to see some reviews and as soon as I saw "Draw With Jazza" pop up on the side, I was like "Heck yes!" Thank you for your honest opinion and instructions!
Hi Jazza! I follow relatively soon and I would like knowing what program you use for your animation normally because for me, for example, I only know Adobe Flash but I can't get have good results like you (I can't do circles and squares forms >.
9:19 GET OUT Also I have heard a lot of horror stories about the 27 models having terrible physical screen quality? I.E., averaging around a dozen dead pixels, tons of dust and particles under the screen itself, etc. I have also heard some bad things about actually installing the drivers and such. Not certain if this was all problems exclusive to the Regular and not the touch one, but considering I was, well . . . considering . . . getting one eventually, I am rather hesitate of doing that if the track record of some of these accounts is to be believed: as in, some people have gotten 2 or three replacements and still have the same problems in the new ones. And then I have heard terrible things about Wacom's customer service . . . I mean this is a 2K+ piece of equipment. I would like to be absolutely certain that it is not only a top-of-the-line piece of equipment but also that SHOULD an unavoidable problem arise, the company will handle it well.
To anyone debating on wether or not to purchase a Cintiq: I'm currently in school for computer animation, and I decided to invest in the 22hd, because that's what we were using in class and I realized how useful it would be not only for my school work but for future projects and my career in general. Also because I wanted to start doing small jobs on the side and that was my excuse for purchasing one. I am a college students so yes I don't have 2,000 to just blow on something like this. Luckily with some researched I found that Dell also sells some Wacom products. And Dell offers financing on their products, with a credit approval ofcourse. So long story short it's a lot more convenient for someone in my situation to simply pay it off monthly. And be able to have the device immediately and not spend x amount of money on another less expensive device, knowing I'm eventually going to want to upgrade. Hope this helped :D
Kinda wonder what's your opinion on the felt nib, since from you videos you seems to use market a lot, and felt nib is for providing similar feeling of using a marker, I guess. I personally got 3 packs of knockoff felt nibs but then... I kinda just stay using knockoff normal nibs because firstly I'm lazy and secondly the normal nib is actually the most accurate, considering I usually only do solid coloring and inking. By the way, I'm using a Bamboo (or One, as said on the package) and I use a white normal nib because it looks great on a black surface.
1st: Keep your Cintiq 24hd 2nd: Wait for 1 million subs (it'll come) 3rd: Sell it for a small loan of a million dollars 4th: ??? 5th: Profit...wait wasn't that step 3?
Hey jazza, enjoyed the review and was hoping if you can do another review with longer use on the 27qhd tablet.I have been hearing complaints non stop about it's calibration problem and dealing with alot of bugs.I have the budget to buy it but will have to wear out my intous 5 small tablet first, it's hardly used!!!
You mentioned that you use a Razer Orbweaver for editing. Would you care to explain that in more detail? Beacause I got an Orbwaeaver for drawing as well but kinda unexperienced I am, I'm not sure if I use the device to it's full potential. I'd like to see how you use it and especially how you configured the keys.
5:41 the emotion is a big factor in my point of view, becausee I oftenly get frustrated with a common tablet (without screen), and that's mostly because I'm not seeing what I'm doing, and feels very different in that aspect, I don't enoy quite as much as when I'm drawing on my sketchbook! even if I can use so many awesome features the digital world gives to me :/ thinking of getting a cintiq 13Hd
Been waiting for this review :)! Only thing missing would be more of your opinions when comparing with you older cintiq 24. Please make another follow up video, I am about to buy either 27 or 24 and need all advice I can get! Cheers
Jazza, i have a question, i am starting in digital art and i was using photoshop(not official) and i lost it when my computer broke, do you know if i can still buy photoshop without paying monthly? And if i can't what program( not too expensive) do you suggest for drawing?
Less talk, more drawing!! Now get to work and start pumping out drawing tutorials on that thing!! Good Lord $2800!! :-0 Can you use it like a smart phone? LOL Thanks for the upload!!
I think a cintiq increases workflow , its more fun and it builds a connection with your work , where as to a intuos all it does is grant you pressure sensitivity . companies realize this which is why Graphic tablets are so expensive , you can produce the same quality art , but a cintiq/ cintiq alternative , will increase your workflow and make it more fun and if its more fun you'll probably use it more often which means your art will improve greatly. I have a intuos and my lackluster hand-eye coordination just ruins it for me , takes me a week to get something done, im still trying to train myself with simple shapes, but I might invest in a temporary cintiq alternative.. but the 27 is my dream tablet
Great review - thank you. Skill/budget does not currently justify the expense of this very nice product but maybe one day...not sure why to mention USB's as being redundant though - as your follow up comment confirms USB are a must and the more the merrier is what I find more often than not.
Hey jazza! I was wondering what wacom product you use for all your art? Like what model? Been thinking of grabbing one but want the best! Love from canada!!!!
Thanks to your video I know that im not going to be full happy when my cintiq arrives lol. I don't have a display port but I was wondering if a lenovo y50 laptop's hdmi port can display the cintiq's resolution at its max resolution. I can't find any information anywhere of what type of hdmi port it is specifically.
Jazza are you from Australia? Also I notice your "H" is pronounced Hayche rather than aych :P fucking awesome tablet, so jealous but happy for you Jazzie :D
I wish everyone reviewed products like Jazza, watching the steam controller reviews give me all the cringe since it's basically a bunch of people who state their preferences as negatives for their particular product (Look at woodsie's vids m8's)
im 13 years old and im from Canada I usually spend 8 to 13 hours drawing with my wacom intous but I like to go places like my friends house out side, i have to go to school so I have been looking at the wacom cintiq companion 2 for like 3 months now i am saving up for the cheapest one i can get, because my family does not have enough money to get it for me, because of bills and more. as of rate now i have $22, wish me luck.
Not sure Wacom lowered the price on the Cintiq 27QHD to accommodate for the elimination of the stand that was on previous models, so not much bang for your buck there.
One question about the Cintiq (basically any Cintiq): How easy on the eyes is the screen? Right now, I'm drawing with a Bamboo so I look at my computermonitor all the time and it's really irritating my eyes. Would you say the screen of a Cintiq is a little bit more relaxing to look at when you work on it for hours on end, or is it about the same as a standard monitor?
Your darn tooting right about the touch feature being a pain in the pencil lead. hehe. Purchased the Cintiq 24HD touch a couple of years ago and am forever turning the touch function off. The 27 looks real nice.
*looks at my wacom intuos 3 that i bought second hand 8 years ago*
i'll always love you baby
Too*
egduf8 I have one from 2006 and one from 1999

I only saw two I was surprised
Lol him on the toilet killed me! XD!

Draw with Jazza * I just bought my husband the Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 for Christmas and I was trying to figure out a good glove to get for him and am sooo thankful I remembered you mentioning one in this video! I want it, I want it! Oh wait... the price

what a help you were tho, you basically just listed wacom products from the best to the most basic one
Saaaaaaaaaame I want it so bad but I probably will never get it because of the price...
Fuckin 2500€, with that you can buy a car xD
Am I the only person who sows smudge guards herself? I literally just cut open old gloves and sew them in a way they won't rip.

Seeing that and knowing i might never get it breaks my heart ;-;
Very entertaining! I love learning about high-end tech (even though I won't be upgrading my $30 tablet anytime soon!). :-)
I also have a tablet that's around $30. Mine's a Huion
you poor bitches. my first tablet was $200

i find using a tablet kinda hard huhu
"...and you're using it on an airplane..." **shows jazza on the toilet** ooooookay xD
jazza - how is exactly is it a review without you showing using it to draw?
simon gentry Exactly seemed just a load of talk and no show...pointless review.
he's explaining his expierences with it, it's not just a some random "so I'll show you now how this thing looks" type of review, on his channel are enough videos of him using it. he is telling his experience and impressions, that's his type of review for this. not including a speedpaint doesn't make it any less of a review.

smudge guard is also a great way to clean your screen as your working. lol
is there a reason why you bought the touch version if you don't use it? Thanks for the review Jazz you sold me to upgrade from my 24"
BlueMaroon|Sarah Goran He was just curious if he would use it.
What's your opinion on Huion tablets?
i was on , to buy alternatives ,,huion , bosto ,mp .... but i dont trust them....im close to buy cintiq 27qhd...and im a hobbist...
Goran Stoil don't trust them because? Because they don't say wacom on them? The commas made the comment unclear, and I think the question was for Jazza
GreyCat with Monocle he did a vid on it.
I have a Huion tablet and I would say it's good if you're starting out like I am.
I actually grabbed a Gaomon PD1560 in the end, serving me very well, even though I just got it.
I go to school for animation and visual effects , my school has the 24inch version of this in class for the students, eventually am I going to need to buy this product down the road of my future career? I hate the fact the idea that I have to be at school to do projects and homework just because I don't have this sketch computer at home.
TWITCHTV. GNARLYYGAMING
You could always just buy an Intuos. They're pretty much the same. The Cintiq is just more work-efficient.
TWITCHTV. GNARLYYGAMING where do you live? What's the name of the school?
They definitely hold their value :)
i got the intunitious pro cuz of budget, could never afford those fancy cintiqs
+PastaPool I'm going to work on getting the companion by getting a job. :D
humm id rather pay the extra buck to get cintiq intuos pro is kinda expensive too but then again ill never prolly get any more tablets because i suck at using them
Dude, for the longest time I didn't understand why I found your reviews unsatisfactory.
I'd love to see a comparison with the very new Surface Studio. Hands on, or something...
Hi
I am just learning at the moment and I don't really understand how it works.
I stare at them all day and don't have any problems tbh
Draw with Jazza Awesome! Then I'm gonna try the 13HD as soon as I get the bling.
Thank you for the response!
If I am spending $3000.00 I'd better be getting a stand.
Im still using a WACOM Intuos manufactured in the 97' :D
damn
Same
Nicolas Tschubarov bullshit, Intuos line didn't exist in 1997. The only wacom tablet back then was Art Pad. Intuos 1 came in around 2001.
Brian Fantana someone did their reasearch I see
Brian Fantana then, what do I have right here with me?
It's been 9 months since I broke down and dumped my whole pitiful savings into buying my first tablet, the Wacom Cintiq 13HD, and it has been so good to me. Of course, I probably would've been too chicken shit to spend $900 if I didn't have the information I got from your videos. so I have you to thank once again for your overflowing wisdom and talent.
My Dad left me when I was 6 did he need to upgrade ?
I'd never be able to afford one, but I don't think it'll happen in my life time. :( I guess I'm just not "sexy" enough. LOL
i like the felt because it doesnt feel like im scratching the screen.
Damn, that;s a lot of tablets in Your house
Can You please adopt me?
I'm really quiet, You won't even notice me
please
The way you pronounce Wacom is disturbing to me. It's Wack-em not Way-come
That would be wakem its wa-kom
10:34
"-Darling could you help me make a video?
-Yeah sure, what do I have to do?
-Pls record me drawing on the companion...while pooping. Thanks."
0:59 markiplier?
Hey Jazza! You should look into getting some noise cancelling foam for your office space! It removes the reverb or echo you hear in the background and makes your voice sound much smoother
Do ya even draw bro'
LOL
Thanks for sharing. It helps a bunch with the decision of which device to upgrade to.
Wait wait...hold the phone. WTF!? do you have to conect this to a PC? Buy a graphics card aswell Fuuuck
Hi Jazza , I started following you up recently and it would mean a lot to me if you check out my works and whenever you got time and give me some feeds in order to help me out get in to the right track. cheers.
Robust, sexy, hardcore artist you are Jazza! hahahaha
Id love one , but us young artists have around 14$ and 3 packs of ramen...
_Here are some pointers for anyone who thinks they may be in the same predicament as Jazza with respect to their graphics card. Also, I am somewhat of an expert on the subject of personal computing- so you can trust what I have written._
*_But first, some basic teachings:_*
This QHD monitor is at a resolution of 2560x1440 as opposed to the traditional 1920x1080.
*_Upgrading your graphics card:_*
*Mac Users:*
Apple computers do not allow customization in any way, except maybe memory. Newer model Macs may have Dport, so look out for that.
*Laptop Users:*
If you're on a laptop and don't already see a DisplayPort port anywhere on it- you're out of luck.
*Desktop Users:*
If you're on a desktop (unless it's really, very old)- you can upgrade the GPU.
If you want to upgrade your GPU to support DPort, here are the things you need to watch out for:
1) Power:
You need to check how many watts your desktop's power supply unit (PSU) can dish out, and how many watts your new GPU will need to function properly.
2) PCI-E Compatibility:
This isn't really a big issue for most tech-savvy, but I thought I'd mention it anyways because a lot of pre-builts are pretty low-end when it comes to PCI-E slots.
3) GPU Size:
Again, not a big issue, but make sure your GPU can fit in your computer's case. What you're looking for here is the GPU's length and the 'max supported length' for GPUs in your pre-built's specs. You can also measure this yourself.
*_I hope this helped any of you, because I know this can be a confusing area of computing for many._*
If you need any more help, I would recommend running through the channel 'LinusTechTips' for additional assistance.
Regards,
Yeti
*wiggles* One day I will get myself a Wacom Cintiq, hopefully 22HD to start with 8D
THANK YOU :=)
Stop saying heich dee
qassam rabi it's his accent, he can't really help it
qassam rabi Australian English pronunciation, get over it.
You know you can set the express keys per program? It's like having a macro oriented orbweaver
So u have to buy a graphic card
my PC is 10 years old.... my Graphic card is 7 years old......... I can't afford a new computer how am I going to get that f*cking awesome cintiq?? T____T
But the real question: does it come with talent and mechanical understanding? And how many souls do I have to sell?
Sorry but all these monitor based drawing painting devices like cintiqs are full of design faults UA-cam is full of films showing this fact, and they should be avoided at all costs, I use a intuos 4XL tablet that’s built like a tank, and it costs a ¼ of the price of the 27 cintiq and my intuos 4XL is connected to my 27 inch 5K iMac, so given the fact Wacom don’t make a graphic monitor that’s got 5k resolution. and the best image display the cintiq 27 can offer is 2.5k. I will never change over from my intuos 4 XL tablet and 5k IMac all the cintiqs do is nothing more than feed (G, A, S)
Gear Acquisitions Syndrome, and are just an overpriced illusion, that is full of faults and design problems. And the overpriced smudge glove wow! like any fingerless wool or cotton glove that costs half the price and you get two gloves in a set, will not do the same job! really? They say a fool and his money are easily parted ;0) p.s. felt i should say I have a BA fine Art degree with (hons)
Jazza must have mountains of wacom tablets, if he buys every variation of every tablet when it comes out :0
First of all, thanks for all the great content you create.
Awesome channel, but I'd like to make a small suggestion about these device reviews:
You lightly touched on the issue (about yourself having an outdated GPU), but it'd still be helpful to have more details on these little things that typically induce insanity.
9:19 GET OUT
Also I have heard a lot of horror stories about the 27 models having terrible physical screen quality?
To anyone debating on wether or not to purchase a Cintiq:
I'm currently in school for computer animation, and I decided to invest in the 22hd, because that's what we were using in class and I realized how useful it would be not only for my school work but for future projects and my career in general.
1st: Keep your Cintiq 24hd
2nd: Wait for 1 million subs (it'll come)
3rd: Sell it for a small loan of a million dollars
4th: ???
5th: Profit...wait wasn't that step 3?
Jazza will you be reviewing the Wacom mobilestudio pro?
Julie C. lol
Aand if Jazza included an Amazon affliate link he'd probably be able to afford two new ones.
Less talk, more drawing!!
Now get to work and start pumping out drawing tutorials on that thing!!
Good Lord $2800!! :-0 Can you use it like a smart phone? LOL
Thanks for the upload!!
I'm considering getting a Wacom Cintiq 13HD. What do you think, Jazza? (if you see this, haha)
It'll be quite the upgrade from my Wacom Bamboo.
nice to know this version is good. buuuuuut that dosnt really help us artist who are unable to afford one of these.
I just got one of these for $500!!! Some guy on offer up was selling it for dirt cheap
I don't normally like videos, as much as I view... im a bad viewer, but I had to show love to this "Sexy, robust, hardcore, piece of work" :D
I can't wait to connect my Cintiq 27QHD Touch above my toilet paper. Cause I'm going to be drawing while dumping. :3
