@@TapirBaseball lmao you 100% did mean to do that. Its rude to lie. This video genuinely is decent too, so stop it with the idea/vibe stealing. Its okay anyway :)
Everyone says mike trout or Shohei Ohtani or even bryce harper (lmao) are the best player of this generation, but I have to disagree. Mookie is the most consistent, not to mention he's not a naturally large guy. Mookie can do it all and do it any day of the season. He's more of a natural athlete than any other player. As you showed him bowling, I bet if you put him up against any MLB player against any sport, be it basketball, football, golf, soccer, or tennis, I bet Mookie wins against 95% of all the current MLB players at whatever sport you pick. He's good for the clubhouse too. He's not an arrogant player like Manny Machado or Bryce Harper and he probably will be one of the only former MLB players who stops and signs your ball or lets you take a picture with him 20 years from now without charging you $300 to do so. He's a perfect face for MLB. Clean, friendly, gifted, and consistent.
@@TapirBaseball No thank you because I couldn't find any good videos until I watched this. (Also baseball content right now seems to be at a low in terms of views so keep going more people will find you!)
I would still argue some people don’t fully appreciate the position versatility he brings to a team. He is obviously widely accepted as one of the best players in the league but I’m just saying I think he is even better than what most people think. Underrated does not necessarily equal people think he is bad. That was what kind of annoyed me about the most overrated player vote that happened a few weeks ago and I believe Jazz was noted as the “most overrated player”. I disagree not because I think he is great but I don’t think you can be overrated when most people think you’re bad. I can understand where you’re coming from though.
I would give you the benefit of the doubt on mispronouncing Plácido Polanco's name... if you hadn't displayed his name in the video with the accent. Plácido, not Placído. 😂
Nah, the thumbnail really tripped me up lmao, thought I was watching Foolish Baseball. Amazing video man, earned another sub. Get this guy to 1K
I might have to change it up to not confuse people, I didn’t mean to do that. But thank you for the support, it means a lot!

This is an awesome video man!!!! I felt like I was watching a Baseball Historian Or Baseball Doesn’t Exist video. Great quality, keep killing it!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to hear.
The Terminator music is phenomenal
It was meant to be a place holder but it grew on me and I really liked it.
Wow, great video, Tapir. I love that “Mookie has thrown a perfect game in the World Series… of bowling” 😂
Thank you very much!
Following because im obsessed with baseball and have a tapir tattoo lol
I really appreciate it! Really cool tattoo, it has been my favorite animal since middle school.
Is that the Terminator theme song playing?
Yes, 16-bit style.
@@TapirBaseball that’s awesome
I am glad you noticed haha
Really cool intro! Loved learning more about Mookie Betts :)
I really appreciate it! It was really fun to make.
Tapir Baseball returns! 😎
Just took a little bit!

I will hate Chaim Bloom every day for the rest of my life too for dumping him to LA. Worst sports executive in history.
I agree, such a good pure athlete while having a great personality. Hard to root against him even as a Giants fan.
It could go down as the worst trade in modern day history. Or at least in quite some time (Nolan being traded was pretty bad too)
Mike trout? Lol
@@TapirBaseball What do you mean that Mookie Betts has a great personality?
Underrated!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much!

I’m here for the Hyrule Field theme in the background
Nice, it is a very nice theme.
He would've had an mvp if not for Acuna last year
Absolutely, at least he won one with the Red Sox and still has time for another (might be hard with Ohtani as a teammate though).
@@TapirBaseballand him being hurt. Or else he woulda been in that conversation
Being an MVP contender is not the same as being underrated.

Definitely not, he makes really good videos and I am a very big fan.

Apologies, I listen to announcers say their names while gathering clips and practice a few times but I still mess up sometimes.
