I remember being all of 7? 8? And my parents had just bought Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman...Alan Rickman most known nowadays for playing Prof Snape) Anyhow....this was the soundtracks single (you know, much like My Heart Will Go On in Titanic? Well, this was the song for that film.)
My dad would play it for my mum and he'd be all sweet and loving (I had a wonderful example of a loving, married couple as parents.) This really brought back memories! Not just of the film etc but of that time in my life (we lived in Dubai...hey, it was still mostly sand dunes then lol. But the sea/gulf was stunning as ever and we'd go every day. Sooo...Dubai sand dunes, beaches and...Robin hood + Bryan Adams. GREAT mash up!
