As a Canadian who saw Bryan live, it brings me great joy & warms my heart, to see his music still connecting with people. Bryan Adams is definitely 1 of our proudest exports of that era 💓💓💓
This song is so beautiful and my all time favorite song since I was in high school. Now this song was on a tiktok im so glad the younger generations knows this song.
This came out in the original Robin Hood movie played by Kevin Costner as Robin Hood and Morgan Freeman as little John... They tried to make the reboot version better but this was and always be the best Robin Hood story especially no one played these characters better than Kevin and Morgan... Very very great movie check it out and Bryan Adams made another music video of this song for the 1991 film...
Morgan Freeman was Azeem, not Little John, but other than that, all true :) Oh and let's not forget late Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Underrated movie for sure.
30 years 🎂 last summer! 😎 From soundtrack to the movie 🎥 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves starring Kevin Costner and the late Sean Connery. Written by Bryan Adams, Mutt Lange and the late Michael Kamen. Produced by Bryan Adams and Mutt Lange. BA had reached his peak in 1984 with his album Reckless. In 1987, Into the Fire slumped. BA demoted Bob Clearmountain from producer and engineer to just engineer. BA took a break from songwriting partner Jim Vallance. Enter Mutt Lange. He had the Midas touch with music from the 1970s to 1991 👍He produced the bestselling albums/songs of AC/DC, Foreigner, Cars, Billy Ocean, Def Leppard, Heart, Huey Lewis. 😎 In 1991, Mutt wrote 1 song with Huey Lewis + wrote 1 song for Eddie Money. During the rest of the year, Mutt wrote + produced an album with Bryan Adams. This was the last song the 2 of them produced + wrote, with Michael Kamen, for the album in addition to the Robin Hood soundtrack. The music of the 2nd chorus/outro of Pour Some Sugar on Me was sampled and placed on the bridge of this song. No copyright violation: Mutt Lange cowrote it! + he is the producer + backing vocalist of both songs! 😎 My favorite BA song. 😎 1991 Billboard Song of The Year. 😎 RIP Alan Rickman, Sean Connery, Michael Kamen, Egil Woxholt (who passed away shortly after the release of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves). 1991 was a great year in music. Mariah Carey had a big hit then. But for my request, this will be a cover of Mariah Carey. Guess where we are going?! Philippines! 🌞Suggested video: Elha Nympha sings Emotions, cover of Mariah Carey. Link: ua-cam.com/video/g8QMo9MOrVo/v-deo.html. Elha sang Emotions 1 year after Morissette Amon was on The Voice Philippines.
