- Conflicts and wars are the main cause of food insecurity worldwide - even more so than poverty and the climate crisis. Yet the right to food is universal: it applies to all people, at all times and in all places.
The United Nations clearly identified the link between hunger and conflict in its Resolution 2417 and adopted guidelines on the right to food 20 years ago. But why do we still see so little progress? Let's talk together about what is needed to implement the right to food in conflict areas.
