Some lovely photos there, Ron. A good slide show can give as good a feeling of a place as a video does, sometimes.

A Very good morning Ron. Greetings from Poland
Back home on Thursday evening having spent 6 days in Praski Hospital in Warsaw having laparoscopic surgery to remove a small tumour on my right and remaining kidney. I feel very well and will start english conversation classes at 09.30 this morning.
Superb vlog today. Great to hear from so many PW family members from around the world. The film from Padstow was wonderful. The accompanying music was superb. Despite the grey morning here, the film made me feel good to be alive.

Good morning Ron and everyone. Just love your orderly shed with colour coordinated garden tools hanging there in an orderly fashion and it’s so nice to sit here listening to you reading out everyone’s comments. It’s a sunny day here but the leaves are coming down fast now. Elder sister went to Telford on Saturday and got to Wolverhampton ok to change trains and then found everything had stopped because of a line side fire in the Birmingham area and in the end my friend came to pick me up. When it got to time to return Telford still had no trains so Sarah kindly took me to Shrewsbury and luckily trains from Wales were still running to Manchester so went home that way instead. Good thing there was an l alternative although a long way round and 1/2 an hour to wait on a very cold Stockport station for connection to Macclesfield. Then no seats on the next train but it’s only 10 minutes. A little girl was sitting on the floor in the vestibule and I wished I could do that but I’d never get up again without making an exhibition of myself. I’m getting too old for all these things! I can see why you both take refuge in Padstow. It’s lovely to see all those beautiful views. It doesn’t seem to matter rain or shine. Thank you and looking forward to seeing lovely Broadway station again. 🌻

Hi Marilyn, I'm sure I speak for the rest of our virtual family when I say it is great to hear from you. You pop up in comments here and there, usually raising a smile. Glad you enjoy the vlogs and hope you have a chuckle here and there. That journey sounded quite a trial, but you are home safe now thank goodness. I know what you mean a bout not being able to get up off the ground with dignity these days, I know the feeling. That's old age creeping up on us, or galloping in my case. Take care of yourself. Ron

    Good morning Ron.
Gorgeous photos of Gloucester Cathedral in your vlog.
I had some news from our family member Michael from Poland - he had an operation recently which thankfully was a success and he is home again now. Best Wishes Michael.
Thank you for a lovely vlog. Great scenes from Padstow with super Cornish choral music.
My last day in Devon today - up early packing and I want to film a lost railway before I go back up the M5.
Hope you and all the Parkinson's Walks family have a good week.
    Take care,
    Paul

Good evening Ron and all the PW family. Sorry to have been a bit quiet lately, but I'm back (no groaning at the back there please!). I've been backpacking the West Highland Way in Scotland, where I can actually wild camp legally for a change. Left it until now when the midges have died down - never do it in the summer or you will get eaten alive!
Thank you for today's matters arising; its lovely to hear the interaction between members of our family. I really enjoyed the film of Padstow. There's not a lot I can comment on there as the beautiful pictures of this lovely part of the world speak for themselves, and an excellent soundtrack to boot. Last time I was in Cornwall I was backpacking around Bodmin moor and lost my phone. I managed to find it due to some kind soul walking with me over the part of the route where I knew it went missing and continued to call it until we heard it ringing way down in some undergrowth where I never would have found it purely by looking. Thanks for today's offering Ron and I look forward to the Broadway station visit next week. Best wishes to you and all the PW family. Regards Trev.

Hi Ron, a lovely visit, thank you. Biking home Tuesday afternoon I stopped at a 4-way stop. I let the car to the left and the car to the right go before I entered the intersection to go straight. To my right, another car stopped, then with me now right in front of him in the intersection he started up, hit me, and i went flying through the air on my bike before coming down on the road with more than a bit of momentum behind me. The police don't come anymore here, but on calling the emergency number (yes, I'm glad I finally gave in and bought a phone) the remote constable told me to get the driver's licence and insurance details (he was still in his car, never having got out to see how I was)...luckily plenty of bystanders did, one even went over to ream out the fellow who hit me. The upshot (a word I appropriately use here) is that I have an injured elbow and a very painful back now. Fortunately, it was a slack week at school with all but the 12s away on trips, and even the 12s on an alternate schedule. Lacking doctors in the great metropolis, I'm off tomorrow morning to see a "nurse practitioner", who I hope can tell me there's nothing that won't heal on its own. The driver? Police can't lay charges unless they witness the accident...sigh...not much chance of the unless it's in front of a take-away coffee shop. I hope things are going well there Ron, stay safe and we're definitely going to enjoy next week's outing.

So sorry to hear your news. I hope you are now feeling better and are on the mend. Surely if you have the right of way and a car knocks you off your bike, the car driver is in the wrong

Hi James, a sorry tale, I, hope you're feeling better. I think it's worth pursuing, sometimes the full extent of your injuries isn't immediately obvious.
Still at least he didn't try to reverse over you and looking on the bright side, the non collection of leaves is now fully justified.
Take care, send Sumac to the shop for somes treats (for you not him!!)
      Best wishes

@@davidberlanny3308 Hah! Thanks David. Good point, that's one of the reasons I'm getting checked out today, just to have a record of everything. Leaves will indeed be left, not much hope for much other than a lick from the dog, sometimes that's just what the doctor ordered. Take care.

Morning Ron, I always pop in Gloucester Catherdral also. I once went there ae a telephone engineer. The lines come in the crypt and tend to turn green with the high water table. I fixed that and then asked where the telephone was. Across the other side is a small door and a very steep spiral staircase into a very large room. Paintings, tapestries and 1000+ year old books. I wonder if you were around when they were first printed? Simon

Mornin' Ron, Stunning photography and great music too, really captivated the attention, well done!! As you say its always worth reading the comments from the group, I know Trev was off on a hiking expedition, hope all is ok and hes back soon.
Seeing those wide sandy beaches at low tide always reminds me of building ponds with my Dad, they would start off quite small, but then we would get canal fever and start bringing in feeding branches, there were often junior navvies willing to give a helping hand too. We never got as far as building any locks though!!
I'm on cloud watch down here, over the last few days we have had some spectacular cloud formations over the hills, lenticular clouds or flying saucers!! You have a very short window of time to get the photos before they change, just grey sky at the moment.
No news with the stone but at least its not giving me any gyp at the moment. I did get to see the specialist and am on the list to have a scan.
Anyway, have a great weekend, all the best!!

@davidberlanny3308 Hi David. Back in harness now and catching up on all things PW. I'm pleased to hear that you are getting some respite from the pain. My wife had a kidney stone which unfortunately did not pass through the system and she had to have "very intimate intervention" to break it up. She was in tremendous pain when it flared up so I can imagine how you must be feeling and hope you get some detailed diagnosis and treatment soonest. Regards Trev.

    Morning Ron,
Commiserating with James, junctions seem to be a hazard nowadays with people not understanding right of ways. Padstow is like another world understand why you like it. Things I liked, the views, the wild garden, the perspective you skilfully demonstrate in your films, and your tidy tool shed puts mine to shame. Now for the things I did not like the throwing out of our favourite film producer from Shrub Hill, shame on them they should erect a plaque saying as seen on UA-cam.
