Peace on earth is one of Dimash's passions. He takes part in forums about peace and is regularly asked to speak at them. He has also spoken about it at some of his concerts. This masterpiece of his toom 3 years in the making from Dimash writing the story, composing the music, recording the song and then writing the screenplay and shooting the video. I think the whole world needs to see this and take the message onboard. We need peace! We are choosing life! Loved your genuine reaction, thank you 😊🙏💕

This song took 3 years for Dimash to create. From idea to completion. In Together he had his family in on the video, but that's because his brother wrote the song. Usually his MVs are done by professionals (actors/dancers/production). You got the gist of the meaning. Dimash is a promoter of Peace and Tolerance, it oozes out of his pores. If you ever watch the first time he ever sang this live (Concert: Stranger Part 3 minute mark 23:25) you can hear how much he cares for the world.

Dimash composed and wrote the script for this song. His (much younger) brother wrote the song Together. Just to clarify. His brother is currently in the same music college where Dimash studied.

    🌟OFFICIAL 🌟 LIVE 🌟
Dimash - Stranger Almaty Concert part 3-25 minutes
    What This 🦌✨👀
The children on the beach 🐚🌊 acted so beautifully, showing the dynamics of their friendship. The underlying competition of the boys who both 👦🏻👦🏻 love 👧🏻 her. Noting that she makes her choice with the thought of losing 😢 Dimash (That smile of coming back to Life. That Knowing). Then the sharing of the sun ☀️ dial as a symbol of Friends Forever (Love, Light & Time)✨
The words of the Pied Piper (leading people to war) were blatantly stupid, as they always are if you really listen to any Pied Piper (well done for pointing that out). Also, the symbol being corrupted from Love to Hate, Light to Darkness (upside down isn’t unnoticed) 🥺
Dimash, his Pregnant Wife (the girl on the beach), & Daughter are on the defensive side of the war.
While Dimash is fighting, his family is helped to safety.
But the Wife goes into labor, & the Daughter goes back for her treasured 🧸
Defense being only necessary because the Piper takes control & freedom from others. Forcing his soldiers with the always-present threat of
"Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity."
    Blah, Blah, Blah‼️
Dimash makes his way home to his family, only to see he is too late (the burning town sign).
Calling on all the strength of Man’s ✨Spirit✨ to face what he fears in his home. He takes the step 🥾forward.
✨🎶✨The Crying For Strength Too The Soul For Needed Endurance ✨🎶✨
    Finding his dead daughter
The deep words picking her up are
"men - caravan, life is a road."
Thinking there’s no way his Daughter is dead without the same fate happening to his Wife. He's got nothing left to lose, so he chooses to sacrifice his life to stop the Piper’s madness.
His Son is born. The symbol is placed upon him for the death of his Mother in labor.
Notice Dimash & Wife are together in the boat at the end. The striving of souls to the Light ☀️. His grown Son wears the ⏳ symbol on the path to a Peaceful Future with All ✨🌎✨ Leaders

👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This video is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
Story: The clip is divided into several parts. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he almost drowns. The three children are friends and their common external symbol is the necklace (gnonom).
Both boys are in love with the girl. But she decides on 'Dimash'. The other boy feels hurt.
The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work.
It's war. The children are grown and the two boys have parted ways. "Dimash" fights as a soldier, while his heavily pregnant wife (the girl) with his daughter and his entire family stay in his house. Dimash's childhood friend has become the country's president/general and mercilessly follows his twisted ideology. Dimash has turned against his childhood friend.
As an antagonist (Piper - based on the “Pied Piper of Hamelin”), he carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We accompany everyone who is ready to start this new life. Anyone who defends themselves has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is my oyster and I want to give it to you. „War is the way to a united people!”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
He's struggling, he's confused, he's in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife and his daughter.
When he finally comes home, he is horrified to find that his entire family is dead, his wife has disappeared and his little daughter is dead. The loss of his daughter almost drives him crazy. He wants revenge and an end to the horror. He shoots the general, his childhood friend and lifesaver... and is killed himself.
The protagonist's wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who will give birth to a special child.
The many pilgrim men are people of all religions who walk together the arduous path to the light, to a place of hope, truth and peace.
One day, the protagonist's son grew up to be one of their leaders.
The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
    Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Script - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Music - Dimash Qudaibergen
Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...)
Directed by - Alina Veripia (She wrote the script and directed the MV "Okay")
DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad)
Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value.
No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world.
We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven.
    (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes)
My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

    (8) Dimash's wife is well received by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special;

First off - Breathe...You have probably never had your mind actually blown from listening to a "song", but, this is Dimash and we told you that each song he sings has an "easter egg" in it (something special added). I'm not aware of any other singer that can affect people to their core feelings like Dimash can. Always keep a box of tissue handy also (just in case).
Just in case anyone missed any references in the video, This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism.
It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself.
The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information).
In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass.
Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon.
It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way.
The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war.
The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence.
That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against?
The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price?
War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life.
Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light.
When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering.
He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. His soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.
The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.”
Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect.
Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

This is my favorite of Dimash's.
    Beyond spectacular ❣️❣️❣️
You can watch this in a live performance on Dimahsh's UA-cam.
It starts @ 25;19 in his Dimash - Almaty Part 3.
Thanks so much for sharing this❤
Since Dimash is a native of Kazakhstan, I'm sure that he's worried that if Russia wins over Ukraine, his country will be one of the next in line to be invaded. Kazakhstan was once part of the USSR.
    Russia will not stop.
    Yes.
Dimahsh's message is that we all need to come together under ONE SKY & stop those in corrupt power from their unnecessary wars for profit.
    We're choosing life...

This is a masterpiece. Dimash composed the song, instructed the lyricist to write it in English, wrote the script, found the best director for the short movie, and was the main actor. This is the most expensive music video ever made. Thank you for your reaction. ❤️☮️

I have seen this extended-length music video numerous times, and it never loses the tiniest fraction of its power. Heavy, dramatic, emotional- it has to be among the best of its kind ever made. The entire production is excellent, but the part where he suddenly erupts into those full-on screams (with vocal distortion said to be yet another technique he learned) is the moment that just breaks the dam for me.

It’s very difficult to prepare someone who is about to watch this amazing video. I know different reactors who they themselves have served in the military have had a a difficult time watching this, not a easy video to watch, but a vey needed message for our world to hear. When watching a Dimash performance there is always a message he is trying to convey to his listeners. Love and peace are in his heart and he has this amazing ability to communicate his feelings to all who listen. I was blessed to see him live in his first solo concert at the Barclay Center in New York, back in 2019. He is electrifying to watch on stage. So thanks for your service, and I will be excited to see what you choose as your next video of Dimash’s to watch. Oh, and I love watching your reactions to Dan Vasc too, Dimash is at the number one spot in my heart and Dan is number two. 🎼🎶🎤❤️🇰🇿❤️🇺🇸❤️🌎❤️🙏🏼

Watch his live performance at the Almaty Stranger concert, part three. It’s heart wrenching. You can focus on the singing. I cry every time I watch this. He’s an amazing young man. He wants “peace” for our world. He talks about it in every concert. I don’t know of any other entertainer who wears his convictions on their sleeve. I’ll be looking for more Dimash videos from you. Lots of reactors have trouble being able to get the videos up. It’s not your fault.

    #TheStoryOfOneSky
Any good work always allows the viewer to become a co-author, allows us to create interpretations ourselves, but within the limits of the main author's message. A complex work often requires repeated careful viewing.
This film is full of symbolism. From the very first seconds, we are shown frames of the cyclical nature of the story, but we will be able to understand this only after a second viewing. An obscure figure, a drowning man... Is this a young man dying on the threshold of his big life, or is this a warrior who completed his life path both for himself and for many other people?
We are at the beginning of the life cycle, and the lace in the foreground unequivocally reminds us of the umbilical cord. A boy who has just drowned is ready for his second birth...
Dimash's first message: we are born equal, pure, potentially good people. Children are an unwritten book in which life can fit any plot.
We see three friends who, as children, are full of nobility and courage (an older boy selflessly saves his friend), a thirst for knowledge of the world and a thirst to share these discoveries. However, already at these stages, the first signs of disagreement appear: a brave boy, pumping out a friend, looks for approval from a girl with his eyes. He wants to look like a hero in her eyes. But the girl does not notice this, her heart has already been given to another, and only his fate cares about her. That's the first disappointment of life - a feat will not make you a hero. You can't expect a fair reward from people. A friend may not meet your expectations.
What other disappointments will this boy know, who eventually transforms from a selfless young man into a ruthless and cynical dictator?
The amulet (the arrow of the solar clock showing both time and direction) has become a symbol of different ideas in the hands of our heroes. For a couple in love, it is a symbol of unity, indicating their common path (they have become a married couple, they have a daughter and a son will be born in the final). Another boy never accepted this amulet as a symbol of friendship (he does not wear it on his chest near his heart), he bent it in a fit of rage (thus the arrow stopped pointing the right way) and used this amulet upside down as a symbol of his false inverted ideals. He became a dictator (in the lyrics of the song - a Pied Piper, who draws children to destruction with the sounds of his lying flute).
Many years later we see that the Dictator unleashed a bloodbath in the name of his false ideals. Many believe that Dimash portrays the opposing side of Good to Evil. I see something else.
A patch on the sleeve of Dimash's character is poked into our eyes several times: a complex interweaving of sharp corners and circles. Dimash's character is not a leader, he is an ordinary soldier who has also taken some ideological side. What do these circles and angles represent? Who stands behind Dimash's character and pushes him into battle? Maybe he's protecting his city from invasion? Apparently not! Everything points to the fact that this is a civil war, because the action takes place in their hometown. All three of them lived in this city, and now they are feuding and destroying their home.
Waldenberg in this clip is the personification of the whole planet. We all live under the same sky. And in this sense, ANY WAR is a civil war, fueled by various but ALWAYS false ideas, including territorial claims. I think this is the second message of Dimash, directly following from the title of the clip.
Therefore, behind the back of Dimash's character is another exactly the same Pied Piper, with complex, confusing and false ideas pushing his followers into this meat grinder.
The plaque with the name of the city in Gothic script Waldenberg is a direct reference to the real German city of Waldenburg, completely destroyed by Allied troops during World War II, when there was no need at all, because by the end of the war there were mostly only women and children in this city. The one who was supposed to bring good brought evil.
Dimash's third message is that war has no good sides. All participants in wars are somehow agents of evil.
Is it an accident that Waldenburg translates as "The City of Waldemar"? Well, or Vladimir in the Slavic version. Both leaders of the modern confrontation are called Vladimir ...
Dimash certainly sympathizes with his character, he understands what exactly drives his hero, but does not justify his actions.
When his character, driven by anger, despair and revenge, comes to the Dictator for retribution, then a storm begins in a world where souls of different faiths, cultures, ethnicities, epochs who have chosen the road to light (good) have been walking along a thorny road for thousands of years of human history! Dimash's character, having killed his savior, thanks to whom he lived all these years, immediately receives karma in return and returns to the waters of nothingness, where he should have stayed many years ago. At the moment of death, the thirst for life gives him the last most powerful life lesson: acceptance of the idea of the primordial value of human life. FOR EVERYONE WITHOUT EXCEPTION! Even for a Dictator! Even for his daughter's murderers! This is the fourth very important message of Dimash. In a near-death epiphany, his hero sees in flashbacks the moments of his life, both bright (shots from his childhood) and unrighteous (shots of how he takes the lives of his opponents). Dimash's fifth message is to rethink your values, it's never too late to repent. It is this repentance that allows the soul of Dimash's character to transform and be reborn in the best version of himself. The waters into which our hero fell are also an allegory for amniotic fluid, an allegory of reincarnation in the body of his newborn son, who, having received such a powerful life attitude from his father, will never take up arms again and will not join any side of the conflict.
The soul of a warrior sinks to the bottom of Nothingness completely. All three characters die in this story at the same time, allowing a new soul to be born, giving hope for a better future for Humanity. Dimash is a Muslim, and he does not preach the idea of reincarnation. Reincarnation here is just a metaphor necessary to convey his messages.
The souls of the righteous, who once accepted the simple truth about the primary value of human life, raising their hands to the dazzling Light that flooded the horizon, meet their new follower, who joined their march towards Light and Goodness. He is an equal among them, who has accepted his mission as a shepherd, among others, each of whom carries his mission on this path: someone blows a horn, calling for unification, someone brings enlightenment to the masses (a book is a symbol of knowledge), someone carries his cross, and someone leaves the race unable to withstand the hardships of the way.
The fifth message of Dimash - the simple acceptance of the idea of renouncing weapons and violence will allow each of us to join this stream of righteous souls. Only when WE ALL join this stream, only then will the wars stop.
Dimash wrote the music and script for this video based on his own long-standing story. Everything we see and hear is the flesh of the flesh of feelings, thoughts, ideas of Dimash. Dimash is an ancient soul.

    Great reaction, thank you.
Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations.
He has said that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play.
This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there was four in 2022 alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th.
The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. It’s mostly about life, death and rebirth.
Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently.
I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video.
The Story of One Sky is an absolute mind blowing masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling.
Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. He delivered as always. ♥️❤️💕🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😢
Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform.
    1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end.
    2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end.
    3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war.
“People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony.
    I’M CHOSING LIFE!!🙏🙏
See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

@@thewarriorforever yes, I agree, we all know how humble Dimash is 😍. Here are my thoughts. Since on his website says it's the most expensive video in the world, I believe his team means about the cost. If they wanted to say precious they wouldn't have put the phrase "in the world". We don't know the cost, but we know how expensive is a 3-4 minutes song MV. This one is 14 minutes, it's like making videos for 4 songs. The outside shots, the underwater shots, all the actors/actresses, special effects, clothes, makeup, so many people and equipment... But the cost isn't the point and money don't matter. This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life.
Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb)
So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer.
    Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations:
    (1) Dimash composed the song and participated in the arrangement, in addition to acting in the mini-film. The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya!
    (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time);
    (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death!
    (4) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon;
    (5) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

Dimash was visibly upset and morally outraged when Putin invaded Ukraine. This was his personal response to the war. He spent over $1 million in production to create this video and song. He wanted to make a stance against war and send a message to the people of the world. It hits you in the gut, and stirs the soul. In China, when peace was still present, he wrote War and Peace himself and had a poet help with the lyrics in Mandarin. This was his first message and plea for World Peace.

I'm not sure about other reactors and how they generate money to support their channel. For all the time, effort and equipment its expensive and costly. I do this because I enjoy music, however all this has come at a cost and smaller music reaction channels do not make a lot of money if any due to copyrights or youtubes low payout for the ads that are not copyrighted. For perspective I have 4 current Paterons @ 4.00 dollars per month and right now its more then I make a month on youtube ads doing 3 to 4 videos a week and its a huge help. I completely understand that not many people want to help support small channels with their money but its there for those that choose to for whatever reason and is greatly appreciated. I have a full time job and still I'm trying to make this work. So I apologize that I can't afford to do things that other reactors can at this point but I hope one day I will be able to.

👍Yep, it was a family led production ("Dimashali"). 300 people were involved, top notch cinematography, award winning professionals who are friends doing various parts (notably Alina, a stellar director), the culmination of 3 years of development. I've read that Dimash composed the melody, guided the lyric content, codeveloped the arrangement, and wrote the screenplay, a much more ambitious follow up to his earlier composition War & Peace. Peace and love from the UK. 🕊💖

You're right, it's difficult, if not impossible, to focus on both at the same time. That's why I always advise to watch the live performance first, even though you might not understand why he's singing the way he's singing. Or better watch the video after many other songs from him. The video is full of symbolism. No camera angle is unwanted, every scene has meaning and should be watched carefully to understand the video.
In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself.
The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
OMG he is such a phenomenal actor.
Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.
If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com
Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.
He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles.
    ua-cam.com/video/2C55a3mvfP/v-deo.html
The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel, Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English
    ua-cam.com/video/YP1r9wlkmHU/v-deo.html
And he's been singing it in all his concerts ever since. But always a little different.
    Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

A warning might not have helped. 😅 This video is like giving birth. Everyone warns you of the experience, but it still takes you by surprise. 😳😂
Here are a few points on how I interpret the video:
    - Dimash is the kid that almost drowned
    - The girl grows up to become his wife. They have a daughter that gets killed. And in the end she gives birth to their son, who grows up looking like him.
    - The warlord is the other boy. He wants to unite nations by force. But in the end he was stopped by his former friend. War did not unite them, but led to both of their deaths.
    - Dimash sings about „pipers that lead us to the slaughter long enough“ (something like that)
I assume this is based on the German legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin (Rattenfänger von Hameln)
The City Hameln was plagued by rats and promised this piper a reward for getting rid of them. So he played his flute and attracted all the rats, who followed him into a river, where they all drowned. But the City refused to pay him. He left angry but returned a while later and played his flute again, while all grown-ups were in church. This time all kids above 4 followed him (there were 2 exceptions) and he led them into a cave and they were never seen again.
    - The message seems to be: "Stop following the leaders that lead you to your doom with sweet words but evil actions" and "follow the good people even if the road is difficult to follow"
    - Pilgrims of all religions and nationalities walked united towards the light and the grown up son, that looked like his father, was either their leader or one of them.
    That‘s what I see in this. 😅

I'm sorry you did not pick the subtitles on for this. Even though it's in English, there is so much going on, it's helpful to be able to refer to the lyrics. I'm also sorry you spent much of the video with your eyes closed or staring at your ceiling instead of watching the video.
Dimash composed the music for this and wrote the script beginning almost 4 years ago now. Dimash acted in it and all of the others are hired actors.
Dimashali Creative Center is his own production company run by his dad. This is how he is able to remain an independent artist without being signed to anyone contractually. The Creative Center does produce his music videos and his music.

🕊😞 I wish Dears universally felt the same way as I do about asking reactors to react to this video, which is that it's OK to proclaim it a masterpiece, because it is, but everyone ought be warned away from it until/unless they have some idea of what's coming. Thank you for conveying a message to that effect, and being so gentle about it, despite the shock you must have experienced. I've read Dimash did a private viewing of this video with a group of religious leaders (the pope, sunni grand imam, and others), but they had warning. Peace out. 🕊

I've seen the performance of this song in front of the religious leaders and it wasn't this video that was used as the backdrop that day but the other video that was shown on the screens in Almaty concert. Although it's mostly pictures of Dimash singing in Charyn Canyon it's no less gut wrenching as it also contains images from 9/11 and footage from the concentration camps in WW2

@@debbiemorgan859 Ahh. Thanks for the correction. ✅(An obvious one in retrospect; I found it strange that religious leaders would watch the official MV, and that strangeness was part of the reason I wrote "I've read that...")
I've seen the glimpses of that video that appear in the official Almaty concert footage, and another couple flashes in fancams of the concert, and it looks potentially even more harrowing because it's footage of real events. As far as I'm aware no one knew anything about the MV. I can somewhat see your point about the trigger warning but perhaps Dimash wanted it to be a "wake up and smell the coffee" moment. Too many of us close our eyes to human suffering because it's an uncomfortable subject and sometimes we do need to get slapped in the face with the message before we pay attention.

I am so very sorry that this video was recommended without a warning and so early in your journey. 😭
Sadly in a fanbase as huge as the Dears, there will be those who are less astute or overly enthusiastic.☹️😔
We generally recommend you see at least 10 to 12 Dimash performances first, to help you get used to his vocal range, colors and techniques so that you will not be overwhelmed.
Even for die-hard Dears, this was a lot to juggle, visually, emotionally and vocally. Thankfully your marine experience allowed you to shut out a lot so that you could focus mainly on the vocals.
The vibrating voice technique is called a Goat Trill. He also showcases this technique in Sinful Passion. This is used traditionally to honour the dead in Kazak culture. It is followed by Ohm from Hindi culture, the perfect vibration for spiritual balance and creation.
It is such a shame, because if you had seen this video further along in your journey, it would have had a much greater impact. What a loss.😢
Anyway, I recommend following this with a more light hearted performance like "Give Me your Love"/2021, or "Be With Me" music video(blur or put your logo on top of screen for this one)
Please try a Diva Dance Combo.
Try putting Diva Dance/ Bastau with Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance in the same reaction.❤
You did very well considering the circumstances.😏👍
