1969 MGC GT Annual Maintenance Basic Service

This video shows my 1969 MGC-GT receiving her annual basic maintenance. This consists of changing the oil and oil filter, lubricating the chassis, drive shaft, and parking brake cable. It also includes checking and topping off the differential oil, SU carburetor dashpots, and the manual 4-speed transmission with 2-speed electric overdrive oil.

we have a 68 C GT automatic and the tranny dipstick seems to be in the engine bay near the firewall on ours..because automatic?

Great video, have a 1968 MGCGT. Such an underrated ca, love em. Has the one in the video have an aluminium radiator? Fitted one to mine to help cooling

Yes, it has an aluminum radiator. The MGC is much more refined than the MGB and certainly underrated. Thank you for watching and your lovely comment.
