Lydia has a great eye for finding the petrified wood and agates! Maybe the future face of the Agate Angler channel!? Many years from now though!! She's grown quite a bit since I started watching your channel!
She does have a great eye! It has been so much fun to watch her grow up and get interested in rock hunting.
I just love seeing that Lydia is so smart and such a good rockhounder. I can't believe she is already so big. Seems like she was only born a couple of years ago. Time flies for sure. You are making some amazing memories with her. Really awesome finds.
She really has grown up fast. Many more adventures with here yet to come!
Lydia is quite the rockhound!!!!!!
This may be the start of your best season!
I agree with the sentiment that Lydia is an amazingly skilled and knowledgeable rockhounding daughter already. As a retired pediatrician , I especially appreciate your tender encouragements and awesome parenting skills that are evident. Great job!
That means a lot, thank you!
Love the Huge agate. Lydia is a great sidekick. I hope you get a few more hunts in before high water. Thanks!
Love watching you & your daughter finding Petrified wood . . Some of it looks exactly like fresh wood ! ! Like the Palm wood as well.. The Agate is stunning & Quartz inclusions is sweet..She has grown so much since she first started going out with you..
Thank you! She’s an incredible little lady. Can’t wait to see all the things she’ll do as she gets older
And you’re probably right. Your daughter always had a good eye. Lol
Head over to Columbus. Walk along the railroad tracks, towards the hill, going towards the right, once you come into downtown. You will be suprised. Grew up there. Great video. Spent my childhood on the Yellowstone, fishing and agate collecting.
Thanks for the tip! I will have to keep that in mind next time I'm in the area. Thank you!
Lydia is queen of the petrified wood. They were awesome. Best wishes to you and your family.
I'll be sure to let her know.
Hahaha...flock of seagulls. Nice hunt. The yellowstone is on my bucket list for rockhounding. Lydia is a very good training rockhound.
It is definitely worth the trip! Cheers!
Good Morning Agate Angler Alex 👋🤣 I LOVE ROCK HUNTING 🪨❤️👍🤣
Good morning/evening!
Nice rocks! At 3:35 I believe that is petrified wood.
I love to see Kip, but it is very Dad of you to be teaching your daughter the facts of rock life. There are no such birds as Sea Gulls, most likely Ring-billed Gulls or one of 5/6 other species native to your area. That is a great pump sprayer you are using, never understood why people would use the small ones.
Great finds father and daughter! Made a great memory of your time together.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great little Rock Hounder
She sure is!
That big one is awesome and very well could be iris. Nice finds.
I think so too!
That big one is real nice! Great finds. I think the rock you did not remember the name of might be a type of porphyry.
I think you are correct. Thanks Eric!
That is a mass of agate, my goodness😂❤❤
Right???? It's HUGE!
Wow, Olivia have grown a LOT, so cute. Lovely to be out and the weather looks great tooThere is always something to find, that is so nice.Thank`s for the hunt.
Thanks for watching. Lydia loves to go rock hunting, we had an awesome day!
May I borrow Lydia when I go rockhounding? She's really good at finding good rocks. Thanks for sharing.
She is quite talented. I don't think she'd be happy though if I let other rockhounds borrow her haha!
Good times right there, that big one was the size of a grapefruit, eh! Have you ever been to Moose Lake, MN ya gotta sneak into a gravel pit on the weekends! Anywhere in that area is great for finding Agates, nice banded ones!
Yes, good times indeed! I really want to head out to MN sometime, but we probably have to wait for the kiddos to get a bit older. Thanks for watching.
Are you sure the rock from the main picture is an agate? Agates are a type of chalcedony, which's main difference from other quartz types is that it has no visible cristaline structure.
Very sure. You can see the visible fortifications
Do u ever sell any of your small pieces of petrified wood or other small stones we cant get that dood stuff where i am and i looking for some small pieces to incorporate into a project im doing this summer
I do not sell at the moment. Keep an eye out, maybe one day.
