My first thought when I saw Neko carrying Okiku was that they could now bond as the scabbards both missing their arms

Raizo would have been a very impactul traitor, not because of how long we spent with him, but because of what happened in Zou. After the Minks' sacrifice it would have been devastating

Kanjurou was the most sensible choice for most impact. Raizo and Kin were out of bounds.
I would say that was probably Oda's intention at first but changed it realizing that Raizo's uniqueness can be a great tool like with the water from Zou and can play an important part laters whereas without the betrayal, Kanjuro is a really flat character. He's not special in devil fruit(though I do think his is underrated, skill, emotion, design, anything. But the betrayal is a chance for him to play just as great a role in the story as the other scabbards
@@deepdive1338 No, there are clues about Kanjuro being the traitor ever since he is introduced into the story (like him drawing with his left hand, but holding the swordbrush with the right when pushing the birdcage, or him drawing a net so that those that wanted to kill the Strawhats and allies would get to them), so Raizo was never the goal.

I mean just think of it, Kanjuro was obvious for the fact that he hid from Doflamingo and all of them by hiding behind a disguise he painted. This meant it had to be a really good looking disguise for him not to be seen because even with observation Haki users that had to be looking for him as well as the fact that Viola couldn’t find him with her ability and we know how broken that ability is, but then he is found by snoring too loud at the perfect moment behind a disguise that then didn’t look that good. Just saying I feel like that should have been a red flag to all of us
I rewatched the Dressrosa Arc and definitely found this part to be mad sus and upon other interactions it becomes apparent that he’s purposefully trying to hinder them while appearing “helpful”

I don’t like kanjuro but if I remember correctly he meet orochi and kaido and they told him to work with oden then he isn’t a traitor but opposite loyal. Because if he betrayed orochi and kaido for oden then his a traitor because he worked for orochi and kaido not oden.
i’d fight kaido just cause want to see if kaido would even be able to walk at all with real world physics on him and if so im using the joestar secret move of running away
you can always rely on the joestar secret move.
If we're assuming he's bounded by real-life physics he's completely screwed. Unless he can use haki to keep himself from breaking his body and then somehow to walk.
But haki cannot prevent damage by crushing apparently, so I don't see any future for him.

Also let's not forget izo was still beat to a bloody pulp by kaido him and the scabbards got emergency first aid by what we assume was hiyori but it wasn't like magic that made them 100% ,he was still pretty beat up and managed to do that to cp0
I think they are all overall VERY strong...it is just that we are using the "match" against Kaido as a parameter....so they seem kinda useless. Most likely the are stronger than all SH save for Luffy, Jinbeim Sanji and Zoro.

When luffy and kaido clashed and it split the sky and it let inu and neko get their last sulong off. It was so good. Also neko fought perospero too!
I liked Inuarashi so much i got a figurine of him and izo is next for me and then Kawamatsu aka blanka-e honda

Robin Hood's thing wasn't just stealing from the rich to give to the poor, it was taking from the few and spreading it amongst the many. It's a lot harder for blame to be given when 100s hold the possessions of one
He actually stole from the government to give back to the people. The villain in the story was the Sheriff of Notingham, the tax collector.
I think akame ga kill explored that concept but stealing from the rich and giving to the poor but also killing the rich there's more to than that but I just thought it was a cool spin on things

Denjiro made a very calculated decision when he became the yakuza boss. Since he made sure Wano wouldn't take a lot of time to adapt Momonosuke replacing Orochi. By the way who will become the yakuza boss now?

Momo and the Scabbard are overall my favorite group of side characters when it comes to characters that are mainly important for a specific arc/island.
What I mean is that overall I like them more than the side characters from Alabasta (Vivi, Pell, Cobra, Chaka, Koza, Igaram), or Skypiea (Shandians, Conis, Pagaya, Gandfall), or Dressrosa (Rebecca, Kyros, Riku, Viola, Tontattas), or...
We also spent a whole saga with them
I never believed Kinemon would die because he still has to meet his wife after the war. Many people who were dissapointed with him surviving seem to forget this fact.
I think the main problem with his fake out death was that it was never a thing until now, the problem that was his body was cut in half has been presumably "fixed" but now we suddenly learn that it was not. If Oda had a little gag with Kinemon's hip just slip out and even Law's room couldn't fix it and now we get into the present then it'd be good. Like Corazon's clumsiness being the reason he got shot and fucked up his plan, or Ussop's lies and low confident that contribute into taking down Perona and directly recruit the whole tontantta's kingdom into the plan.
Aside from that, Oda never plans for Kin to die,ever.
I’m just annoyed that he got absolutely melted by a Kaido shot to the dome and then we suffer through his ass just walking around.
But yeah. He was never gonna die. It just makes the shit that happened to him all the less believable.
I love how Tekking didn't talk about Neko vs Perospero lol that was a big moment for Neko, avenging Pedro even though his death was suicide so Perospero wasn't at fault there.
I would love it if Okiku does beg Kinemon and the others to at least bury Kanjirou as they all had some love for him as shown when Raizo and Kwamatsu cried at his death as did Kinemon and you could also see Neko and Inu holding the tears back, so I think they will Bury him but not label his grave with his surname just Kanjirou the greatest actor.
I still think Carrot may join she is so attached to Luffy and Nami so do you really think that she would be happy just heading back to Zoa, unless she is going the Vivi route and that she is an honorary member she just doesn't travel with them.
The thing about the Ashura chapter was how he was the only scabbard not fooled by the fake Oden. Every other member immediately believed the fake Oden when he's like "Toki sent me into the future to help you guys! Let's go!" and 100% they could've died because of their own blind loyalty and love to Oden because the fake had explosives ready to take them all out. But Ashura was always a realist. He had to be the voice of reason and he got stabbed and blown up for it so everyone else could go save Momo and help with the battle.
I would argue that Izo might not even count as a member of the Red Scabbards because he wasn't there for the event that got them that name.
He's basically there to tag Kanjuro out.

Izo didn't have anything in particular with CP0 did he? If Oda kills a character it has to have a lot of emotional impact and symbology. It would be fitting for a scabbard to die against Kaido or Kanjuro but against the CP0? There's no narrative point.

@tekking101 talking about dieing. We forget here a very important point. Luffys vivre card. If Luffy realy shortly died against Kaido, then i would assume his vivre card must have burned down like Aces did, meaning the whole SH Grand Fleet must be in panic mode right now. Some may even head for Wano to confirm his status.

when i saw kanjuro, the first thing it made me think about was in yugioh gx Orlando ,(i thinks was his name.,) and he was kabuki performer. so when theories of a traitor started, i immediately said oh its the kabuki actor. however i didnt expect his power to spike immediately after turning.

I think seeing the citizens of Wano interact with the Scabbards more will bring a lot of closure. But... Act 3 isn't over, I'm worried for Kinemon's life still. It's been a hell of a ride for these heroes of Wano, either way.
Which makes me wonder kiku didn't always wear that mask plus shes is tall as hell how did no one recognize her?
Has Kin been told what happened in the town of leftovers? The implied consequences of the raid, his wife and the rest of the town was killed.

Well.. Kiku could get her arm reattached. There are 3 world class doctors in Wano atm: Law's surgical skill and his fruit; chopper for his all around skills and treatments; Marco for his experience and regenerative ability from the Phoenix fruit.

If I had to fight Kaido, I would try to lead him to an area that I could flood with a ton of water. That would be only chance of beating him if he defies real world physics.

I even wonder IF Law can reattach Okiku's arm, as the only first aid that Kin'emon could give was the burn the wound to stop the bleeding. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know how it's usually done, but I wonder if Law can reattach the bloodstream vessels.
