      Great, the feedback from people who have actually purchased one has been tremendous. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    i used to make a very similar thing with rubber bands, a balloon, and a soda bottle.

    This is awesome I love hunting pizza trays, Coke cans are a little harder, I'm not that great of a shot but I think the pocket shot will make it easier to get them.

    Funny, I use to make those in the 70s with a chapstick tube and balloon.

    I haven't seen anyone try to reverse their grip so it would be more like a C grip. What happens then? I feel like it would be more accurate and less on an awkward twist for your wrist

      Luke Greer Just Depends on your shooting style. Check out Game Keeper Johns video on The Pocket Shot. He shoots like what your talking about. He;s probably the best shooter out there. Be careful not to shoot your finger off if you decide to shoot that way.

    How long on average will a pouch last before I need to replace it? Surely everyones' use is diferent but just a ballpark figure if possible please.
    I'm in the UK so I wanna be way ahead of when I might need a new pouch due to wear. Postage takes ages as you likely know.

    what about doing a pouch of more draw to do butterfly style? that would be a lot of more speed, like 500 fps+

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  7 років тому

      Not really, the physics does not really work like that.

    • @CraZyEnDzZ
      @CraZyEnDzZ 7 років тому +2

      Oh, and will you do other pouch to be faster than a butterfly slingshot?

    How do I adjust for plastic BBs for the same short range? I have metal shot for the backyard (no neighbors), but I also have a neighbor across the street and I'm just trying to deter squirrels and starlings from the bird feeder.

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  7 років тому

      Plastic curves because it is too light. Especially when the wind blows. Steel is the only way to be accurate unless you are close to your target. (maybe 10-15 ft.)

    • @thepocketshot

      We are currently working on a rubber grip that slides over the outer ring. It will also help people with large hands.

    i've noticed an anomaly while target practicing ... MOST OF THE TIME THERE'S A WICKED CURVE TO MY SHOT SO I HAVE TO AIM LEFT OF THE TARGET ... and sometimes it goes straight and again i mis the target ... wish i new what i'm doing wrong ...

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  6 років тому +2

      Watch our other videos on how to shoot the Pocket Shot for Newbies. Most likely you are not pulling the Pouch STRAIGHT back. Video yourself from the side and watch it. You can really see what you are doing wrong when it is on video.

      never mind a curve ball in baseball pitching ... have you ever seen a CORKSCREW PITCH ??? in this video( " MLB Best Curveballs " ) you'll see a corkscrew at 0:27 - 0:29 ... were you ever a golf caddy ??? i was one for like about 3 hours and the things that i've seen a golf ball do could not be captured on tape you have to see them personally ...

    I'm in Soddy Daisy just 10 miles north of Chattanooga. I would probably hide when u cut your grass. Those little steel balls must be like a machine gun coming off the mower blades

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  9 років тому +2

      Buck Shot We're about 2 hours south of you. Someone mentioned that before about the ammo. You would THINK that would happen but actually, after a rain they get buried so deep in the ground they disappear. Thankfully, no ammo shrapnel being thrown by a lawnmower yet.

    • @dudewithlaptop8663
      @dudewithlaptop8663 7 років тому +1

      The Pocket Shot i shoot all the time in my backyard based on my theory the lawnmowers wind force generated doesn't have enough of a surface to pull the balls up starting the cycle

      The wrist rocket is already compact enough and can be more accurate. Yes i did see the speed test performed but not convinced u measured the wrist rocket at full draw.

    Why should I spend $25 when I can make the exact thing with balloons and a Gatorade cap for under 50 cents, shoots just as good as the pocket shot and has the same functions

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  8 років тому +3

      Your balloon and a bottle cap is a toy, this is a serious slingshot that can shoot an arrow 140 FPS through a watermelon. We made your toy when we were kids, that is where the idea came from.

    • @VenomMCPvP
      @VenomMCPvP 8 років тому

      i can shoot my "toy" a 290 fps so idk if I would classify it as that

    • @thepocketshot
      @thepocketshot  8 років тому +3

      Please post a video of that with a chronograph and send it to us.

      I bought a pocket shot and I can tell you there's a huge difference between the two your "home made" one is crappy quality (I had the same idea as you after I made one from a cap and balloon) but with the pocket shot you'll get much better quality and performance

    • @aidenharker4637
      @aidenharker4637 8 років тому +3

      making them with balloons suck they go fast and far but do very little damage and the balloons dont last long. plus the pocket shot is worth using and can be used for shooting starlings and red squirrels
