Enjoyed this very much and thanks for say " girls" too.
Mr. Ryan , love the way you work and teach , I stepped from carving wood spirits with dremel to hand carving wood spirits , owls and such to chainsaw carvings in such a short time by just watching teachers like you , thx and have a great week !!!!
These owls turned out great 👍👍 thank u. I enjoy so much as I am a whittler and learn as much as the chainsaw guys thanks again Ryan
Thanks Ryan. Always a pleasure to watch and learn from you. You carry a rare insight when it comes to carving and are gracious enough to share with the world.... Blessings
I appreciate that!
Damm Ryan, that looks amazing
Wow, the eyes ! Very delicate to do !😮
What a great live! You're a good friend to help Jordy improve his technique, we're learning along with him. I've nearly finished a Raven inspired by the one you did, thanks Ryan.
Two of my favorite carvers.
awesome
I thought the same thing
a year later and i;m just watching this. your a great teacher ryan.
super ryan. always so informative. since I watched your videos, I took a big step forward in my technique. I practice 3 to 4 hours every day and more and more easily. thanks to you.

Just wanted to say these are my two favorite Carvers I've been watching Jordy for about 2 years I've been dremeling for about 2 years now I like watching the chainsaw carvings but it's a little awkward for me because I'm in a wheelchair but I have a little Electric chainsaw and I'm going to try to find a way
Very inspiring good luck be safe!! If you don’t know about kick back and no I’m not talking about the kind politicians get😂
very important that you understand what chainsaw kick back🤕 is if you don’t already know. Very dangerous
Уважение за труд 👍👍👍👍
The two "PICASSO'S"....Well done guys.
lol
Excellent!!! Two masters, working enjoying the carve!!! What a tremendous motivation for me!!!
Deadly video !!! Nice work Jordy and Ryan !!!
Turned out great! The videos wasn’t quite over as I started to ask if you said for $100, or $400, and you answered it from the live conversation, that was awesomely hilarious, I even said thanks, like I was with you. Hahaha
So awesome watching you two together again. Also, Thanks for throwing out prices you’d sell your pieces for, so some of us Noobs can get a idea for our own pricing.
👍🏽 🦉
Love it Ryan
Youre so lucky Jord!! I missed live, but owls, are something I make alot of. This video Ryan, will be very valuable to my learning, THANK YOU!!!!

hi ryan. great video, great to see you and jordy carving together. jordy's carving has come a long way with your help, good of you to help him out. two great carvings you did together. i will be watching dug and kev when there up and running, should be good. stay safe.
Awesome thank you!
Ryan, you and jordy together again. What a treat for us to learn from
Nice work guys. Jordy please put on a dust mask before you inhale to much sawdust. We just attended an auction of a local wood worker who died from wood dust exposure
Great work, wish you had a few zoom in’s as you cut ! Love it!!
Great torch tip Ryan!! Very helpful thank you!!!

Ryan, I watched the last part of this owl at work. Awesome but now I want to make an owl too! So I just posted my first Bear carve with my electric chainesaw! You inspired me so I gave you props in the description and if you don't have time to watch it all just scroll to min 18.00 for a laugh. Keep up the great work!

I make Adirondack furniture for and I'm really getting tired of making the same old s*** over and over I've been at it for 25 years everybody wants me to start doing carvings so I'm very good with a chainsaw and I have apparently an idea so I'm going to continue to watch your shows what you want to show me so I can do what I love
👍
Awesome job guys, I’m trying to find a chainsaw like you guys have, any advice, I’ve only got 2-300$ to spend tho, well will anyways once I sell these smaller carvings lol trying this asap tho, my saws big for this, but what’s your advice, I have a x-force husqvarna, it’s a beast but I need a bar like that
Hey Ryan awesome owl. Quick question what is the owl book you recommended on a previous video, for some reason I can't locate it.
Thanks for the videos and tutorials.
Again a great set up for battery chainsaws. Give it a go next live session.
Next time!
@@RyanCookCarvin The above being said, excellent video. Yourself and Jordy work well together.
I'm new with the chainsaw and I've noticed several carvers have loose chains. How loose should it be and is it the same when just cutting logs compared to carving?
Hey ryan do you have a link for merchandise 👍 hoodies etc 👌
breanna@sawvalley.com she makes everything custom
How easy is it to cut curves with a straight bar
Awesome video🙌 Are your shirts available to buy? I’d rock one here in Utah 👍💪
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
thanks stacy
great step by step for the owl. just got started myself. so far i,ve carved a small bear an barn owl and a four foot eagle. very proud of the eagle. i love your tips very helpful. wondering if you have any insurance policies for carving? what if you carved on someone property?
just happned in the new video
Awesome Carves gentlemen! Where do you get the extender that you can hold for your sand-o flap? Searching and cant find it.
bob king webite
@@RyanCookCarvin Thanks!
Yo yo yo
Did try with a spruce trees 🌲 will it work Ryan
Why not use electric chain saws? Much quieter and no gas exhaust.
I bought the Makita electric finger sander and its awesome but i break the belts quickly any tips to prevent this happening? Thanks
I have one too. I havent broken a belt yet, ive gone thru 60 of them so far. They do pop off if i dig in too aggresively. Are you using the makita brand?, they are on amazon. I do fray them up by using the edge too hard
@@jordanzothegreat8696 yes only use Makita belts.
If we’re a carving community then your the president and jordy is VP.
Heck yeah
Man, I always miss the live streams.
next time/.. IM gonna be doing one a week if i can if not two
Geese Ryan I thought this was a cut for cut?
