    Wish you actually showed how the wires connect for top speed...I am able to understand better when I actually see where the wires go. Good video though

    I think you’ve read that diagram wrong. If you loop from L to the L1/2 block it runs on slow speed. Max speed is switch live into LT block and that’s that.

      To be honest with you after all this time I don't remember. When I actually installed it was working on full speed so at the end I did the right way anyway 🤣

      @@EruElectrics hi! I just bought one and wired it in myself and thought I had only wired it up for half speed. Looking at it I’m sure you only loop in the extra terminal for slow speed. Did you use a backdraft shutter also? We could compare notes as I’m in Gillingham!

      @@alex1975uk you could be right. I did whole thing in my kitchen so not the ideal place. As I said, after all of this time I don't even remember what I did and might have got it wrong that very first time as I never saw one like it before and the instructions didn't give much info either.
      At least when it went to the customer it was working properly.

      @@EruElectrics that’s why I’ve been researching as I wired it in as per diagram but wanted to make sure it was full speed before it gets fitted to the ducting.

    So a single wire from the L to the L1/L2 Terminal makes it go full Speed? The 4th terminal has L1 and L2 stamped on it??? Confused!

      No, he got that wrong. On the diagram he shows it says no L, L1 link is max speed. Put the link in to give min speed.

    Would you wire this to a lighting circuit or sockets?

    • @EruElectrics
      @EruElectrics  3 роки тому

      As you want it to come on with the bathroom light you should connect it to the lighting circuit. No problem wiring it from the sockets though as long as you are use a fused spur.

    Thanks for the review!! Just ordered one of these. Wanted to see the connections inside prior to install.

      Hello Nathan. You are welcome. At last I'm installing mine this week. I believe some times you can find inexpensive quality products if you look at the right place. For their price tag you get a quite decent fan.

      @@EruElectrics fitted mine today. Oh my it’s loud ?!?! I’m not sure if I’ve got it running or high or low speed. Sounds like a jet engine

      @@xXM3tall1c4Xx that's strange, the one I fitted wasn't and connect it on the high speed. Did you fitted to close to the inside grill? Did you use all 4 screws to mount it, as they can be noisy due to vibration if they don't sit firmly somewhere.

      @@EruElectrics there is about 1 meter of ducting between the interior grill in bathroom and the inlet of the extractor. Yep extractor securely mounted down. It’s not vibrating noise it’s just loud suction noise.
