I owned my Glock 30 for over 3 years...I had problems with light strikes with S&B 230 grain....changed ammunition to Remington and no problems...great guns !
Don’t feel bad about S&T ammo I’ve had issues with them in the past with 380 auto as well as 9mm and 45. I think their primer are harder than most ammo manufactures.

Yes , correct, and he mentioned the term " slim frame" . The "SF" designation means " short frame" . Never heard the term slim frame before. It can be confusing but to the best of my knowledge the Glock 21 Gen 3 came in the SF and non SF models. Difference is the ever so slight difference in reach to the trigger. All Glock 21 Gen 4 models have the same reach to the trigger as the Gen 3 "SF" models but are not marked SF anywhere on the frame. Throw in the Glock 30S and it just adds to the confusion. Slim slide on the wider frame that accommodates the double stack 10 round magazines. They are also marked SF, meaning a slightly shorter reach to the trigger. Please correct me if I am wrong on anything here.

Someone in law enforcement had it because of the blue label on the case. Doesnt look as if it had a round through it. Its the first Gen 3 gun I've owned and I believe it has the Glock tennifer ( frying pan ) finish. Its almost 3 dimensional. Totally different slide finish then any Gen 4 or Gen 5 I have. Wish they still made it.

I’m gonna buy one of these. I own a LesBaer 1911 in stainless 5” sized in 45 acp. It’s my only pistol, and It’s just too heavy to bring with me everywhere. I ride a motorcycle and I want a smaller 45 as a better/easier carry option. Glock G30 fits the bill. I’ve been researching these like crazy lately.
They’re lightweight, same capacity as a a 1911 with a 10rnd mag, good ol’ reliable Glock, and compact! And you can buy/carry the Glock 21 13rnd mags for even more capacity. Les Baers are nice though! I like the Gen4s myself.
Been carrying the G30 gen 4 with a Vedder light tuck IWB holster for a year now and I would highly recommend it. Just wear a good solid leather belt made for ccw so your pants don't fall down haha.

I agree!! Try a HK USP .45 and, IMHO, you’ll be set!!! I love my G21 and I have a Sig 1911 that I removed the back post and replaced it with an Trijicon mounting plate and have an auto-adjusting Type2 RMR on. #freakingamazing. Thanks for the support, man!

Also I can’t tell if you are but if you put your left pointing finger on the outside of the trigger frame it feels better in control when shooting in compare of placing that finger on your hand
Used to have a Glock 19 gen 4 that I sold a few years ago. Now I have a Beretta 92X instead, I love it but I really do miss the Glock. Looking to buy one of these instead as I want a 45. and the smaller Glocks look so cool! Nice shooting and I thought the punisher backplate looked cool, it's fun to personalize!
Thank you! I really like the 30 models. Concealable, they can accept the 13 rnd mags, and light weight. Even though they’re smaller and lighter in weight, I don’t feel like there’s any noticeable difference in recoil vs a 1911 IMHO.
Been thinking of the 30 along with the Shield and XDs. Currently have a commander, want something lighter and smaller, but in 45. Have you shot the XDs or Shield?

Just picked up a 30s and like it...only thing is that with the slide closed, empty chamber....I cannot get a full mag of 10 to fully seat. Take one out...seats just fine. Same thing with one in the chamber...cannot get a full mag of 10 to fully insert and engage.

G30s, you will love it. Same size as a G19 so very easy to conceal. I carry two extra mags, so 30 rounds of 45 auto, hard to argue with.
