Hey guys, welcome back to another unboxing video. And for this video, I'll be unboxing a standing desk from Fezibo. I just bought a fezibo desk and let me tell you have the differences between a fezibo desk and a uppspel desk from ikea. The fezibo desk is much more difficult to construct because you have to use an Allen wrench and they do not provide you with a screw driver for the screws. I do not even recommend you use a screw driver. Instead use a drill, so make sure you have a drill before getting this desk. If you do not have a drill just use a screw driver and make sure you are very strong. I am somewhat strong, but even I refused to use a screw driver and I went straight to using a drill. The desk is also quite thin, so it looks cheap. It also does not come with obstacle avoidance.
The uppspel desk from ikea was very easy to construct, but it is also quite large and heavy. The fezibo desk is smaller, but lighter so take it how you will. If you are not very strong, then this desk is perfect for you because you would not need a second person to help. Building the uppspel desk was definitely very challenging for someone who has a smaller frame and is not extremely strong; however, there were no other issues. It also comes with a 1 touch capability that requires very little tinkering to work, but even following the manual, I was unable to enable the one touch functionality on my fezibo desk. The uppspel desk also has a better warranty. It lasts up to 3 years for the entire desk and even with scratches, I was able to return the entire uppspel desk without any issue. Also in my area, the uppspel desk is rarely ever in stock so you will get cash back if they do not have a spare desk. If you are trying to return it and they do have the spare parts you can have the desk delivered to your home without any extra costs. However, the uppspel desk costs nearly 4 times compared to a similar fezibo desk.
The fezibo desk also has a better carrying capacity compared to the uppspel desk. For a similar desk, a fezibo desk can carry 165lbs while the uppspel can only carry 150 lbs.
When I said the uppspel desk is bigger, I meant it was bigger. The smallest one you can get from ikea is 55in by 31.5in. It is also much easier to customize because the desktop is thicker, so you use those very small, but nice wire organizers that you can attach to the back of the desk, but the fezibo one is too thin, so only certain very small wire organizers work.
A lot people would likely also prefer a single slab instead of 2 slabs that you conjoin together. Well you are in luck. The fezibo website allows you to customize it resulting in an upcharge if you want a single peice of wooden desk top. For the L shape lovers, skip getting a desk and only get the legs. Go down to your local lowes or homedepot and get a custom cut desktop make sure that it is 1 inch in thickness and you have a very fancy looking desk afterwards. It also works for people who just want a normal desk.
My recommendation, if you want a standing desk. Get one from Fezibo, but only get the legs. The legs are very good, but slow and they do not have obstacle avoidance; however, if you look past it. The desk would look extremely nice if you get a custom cut from lowes or home depot and you can get the things you want on it and how large you want the desktop to be.
Nice Video! I just built a L-Shaped Standing desk from VIVO too. The table top is 2 piece instead of 3. Yours is a little tricky with 3 segments. The way you turn the table at the end of the video alone, you could easily damage the table and the floor :)
I didn't flip the table. I just installed the table top on top of the desk frame. Nice job!

Do you remember if the metal connecting plates for the three desks pieces came with the table box or the leg box? Our table box deliver with the wooden dowels and screws, but no connecting plates. Will they come in the leg box?
I wish it was a bit longer though (bc storage/area space) but other than that its good
