- Xioami recently launched their MI band 3 in India, and just like most of you, I was excited to see what it has to offer over the mi band 2.
Turns out, you can. While Xioami’s MI Fit app doesn’t include these features, you can get them with 3rd party apps. So, let’s check them out, shall we?

Just as an editor: Take the music down to -20 dBFS and normalize the voice track to -3 dBFS. It's not that hard, and it's so common.

@@Orangestardust Actually if you're jailbroken you can do anything. I just switched to android for the first time and I'm shocked how dissapointing it is. I was expecting better personalization options and I can't even listen to youtube in the background without using third party apps or stupid workarounds, on the iphone you install the tweak and you're done.
@@5tivi You can totally listen to UA-cam in the background and there is literally nothing you can't do on Android. Im running a ROM that runs a Chinese OS called MIUI. Last week I was running a Japanese Xperia OS you can't get in the U.S. I have no idea what your talking about unless your using a cheap lower tier Android.

nfc features only work in china. international and chinese versions are the same. the language used will be the same as your synced phone. grab whatever is cheapest

Download first the MI BAND 2 FUNC BUTTON. Then open the app, the MAC add. will show on the top of the screen.
I'm thinking about buying a third party app for my mi band. Which one do you recommend? I am currently looking at buying the app ""Notify & Fitness for Mi Band" since it offers the current weather option, more stable connection compared to the Mi Fit app and translation of my country specific characters to ascii ones. I haven't tried other apps extensively, so your suggestion is very valuable to me if this is a worth while "investment".

Apparently not by default.
It's ridiculous that I can't export my data by default. It's my data and would serve as a good baseline for my body 10-20 years from now. What if I don't have a Mi band then. What if Xiaomi stops the mi app then. How will I access this medically relevant data?
It's our data and we should have ownership of it by default. (Ideally I'd not have Xiaomi sell it to other orgs, but for now I'm just happy with being able to access and store it)

Not a worthy upgrade...the battery life in Indian sale devices for most ppl is max 2 days with heart rate monitor....where it's advertised as 20 days. This issue is reported everywhere, on MI forums, Amazon, mi store, mi Instagram , Reddit etc etc....still no action from MI side 😑
