Reminds me of walking through a carnival that's supposed to be haunted and you know that you aren't alone and the souls come to life as everything starts up. It's fun at first but the fun slowly starts to turn into something dark and twisted, as the fires of evil burn throughout the carnival turning everything into ashes... Your very soul was taken without you even noticing and you are now stuck forever wandering.

This isn't evil... Its just dark. There IS a difference. Darker music just sounds "darker", more sinister, etc. It can lead to evil music-there is a spectrum... Evil music ACTUALLY invites demons, and greatly increases the desire to do evil. Like I said, this is just "darker".

Agreed. Some people like more upbeat music other dark or mysterious music. To me, mysterious music takes me to interesting places throughout the world or even stories of legends and this is why I like it. However, its also the dark melodies and harmonies that attract me naturally.
This used to scare me as a kid. Now I just thinks its a cool piece of music.

Even as an Athiest, i've always held sympathy for Satan - if you ask me, he was mistreated, and misunderstood.
But then again, the story differs from religious standpoints, so who knows what truly happened?
depends on the definition of satan. for example lucifer as a rebell against god, or the snake in the garden of eden without the snake humans would be nothing more than animals (according to the bible). its similar to the role of prometheus in greek mythology bringing back fire to humanity (wich can be seen as a methapor for our intelligence) and getting punished by the gods for it.
You can't be an Atheist and question "What truly happened". Maybe if it's examining the fiction - but there is no Satan, and no God. I agree though, in that there's more cause to admire "Satan" than the monotheistic God.

He fell because he challenged God for leadership if I recall, but why? What gave him cause to do this in the first place?
It's like analysing a work of literature, and it helps when religious minded individuals challenge my standpoint to be a little bible savy.

I went through a phase. At first stage I believed every living thing deserved another chance. I believed that demons had a second chance to right their wrongs, that they can one day become angels. Then the second stage, I wanted to go to the underworld where the demons rest and send their bodies into an alternate dimension where the space and time there will make their torture in the underworld look like childs play. And now the third stage, I think I have become a demon myself..

I feel like i've become a part of the problem over time, the world isn't a good place, and no one in the world seems to be a really good person. I'd save myself (and the ones i love the most) and no one else, because i know others wouldn't save me either.

If you read Paradise Lost, which is really hard to get through, Satan starts as a sympathetic character. He does something bold, driven by Pride, and leads his Angels to rebel, only to find out that God IS all powerful. Later, he even admits to himself that he was wrong but he also knows that even if God forgave him and the Fallen and allowed them to return to Heaven, Satan would just sin again and probably do greater harm to Heaven. He known he can't win but will try to hurt God the only way he can, by hurting us!
The biggest problem Christianity has is the idea of Hell, eternal torment just because God does not think you're good enough for Heaven? God comes across as spiteful and sadistic. Even Hollywood does not like to show Hell as it makes God look bad. Why does God need Hell? It was made to punish Satan and his crew, not humans. But God can't be bothered with making a place to rehabilitate humans, only torture them forever.
You can believe what you want. You are free. Problem is that no religion will never told you this. They lie all the time. They just want power and believers give them this power. There is no god, no devil, no angels and no perpetual ice cream.

The problem with believing in the soul is the lack of proof. It takes a leap of faith to believe and it's hard. I love science and reason but I'm also human and the idea of death is terrifying. I need to believe in a soul and that there is something beyond death. What always amazes me is how OFFENDED atheist get by anyone of faith.

***** I think people get offended because to them, their beliefs are the produce of their own reasoning and people hate to be show that their logic is faulty. Makes you wonder what else you may be wrong about, it can throw your life into turmoil if you can't trust yourself. So people get mad, or they believe what everyone around them believes. Being a pagan demonology, i find the Demonic Choir strangely calming, A part of me will always find satanism a calming release of order. Which for me can be a pent up of stress with much order, with chaos I can find my balance of primal rage and contained urges of control.
in this song and the picture it feels like im walking an old temple type place, hearing the whispers of the fallen before...it's not necessarily a demonic song by any means but sounds like a memory from long before.
@narutospearman I believe this song is great, intimidatingly simple. The repetitive sound at 0:13-1:45 is unnervingly calm and pacifying, almost to the point of delusion. You just have to be patient with this kind of music, as it is not focused on an in-your-face confrontation of sound. The buildup is a key component to making things scary
