The original react video was one of the crucial moments in the rise of their popularity. It introduced millions of people to them who had never heard of them.
Yeah, I was one of those people. And in contrast to some of those youtubers I immediately wanted more. I am a fan ever since. Babymetal opened a whole new world of Japanese rock and metal for me. Band-Maid, Nemophila, Gacharic Spin, One OK Rock and many more.
@@bunyip-ni6ch How about Spyair? Prolly my #3 favorite Japanese band.
Hearing them say “we were so little” cracked me up! 😂😂
One of the things that made me like your channel from the get go is how chill you are.
I appreciate you!
They don't play huge arenas in the US. I saw them in a 3500 capacity club. They played venues as small as 1500 people on their last US tour. The biggest was maybe 10,000, probably not even that.
They have played only two full production shows outside of Japan: the Forum in LA and Wembley Arena in the UK. It is not just the cost but also the expertise and skills needed.
They didn't fill it, but they played the LA Forum in 2019, which has a capacity of 17,500.
Excellent, thanks for doing this, it is a fun video and you get a taste of their individual characters.🦊Also yes 'Iine' (ee-neh) was only the second song they released (as far back as 2011) and the official video is what they were seeing ... it deserves another reaction.😁
Hell yeah! Great reaction, this was a great video. Great to see them being themselves a bit. Also, their in-unison head-bob at 2:02 is so adorable, haha! 😆
Babymetal has done a few major arena shows in the West, such as at the LA Forum at end of 2019, and Wembley in the UK, where it's the huge production set up as their Arena shows in Japan!
🤘🦊
Thank you for making the video of BABYMETAL 🦊 The second song is called "iine"
It great seeing their real selves, and Yui's voice is so soft .
Seen this many times love watching their interviews 😁
❤❤❤🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
My wife and I got to see them in Houston and Dallas back to back last year and it was incredible.
Yeah here we miss out on the giant theatrical stage productions but the trade off if you have extra money (vip1 tickets) and time (wait in line hours before the show) you get something you can't in Japan ... youre literally feet away from them! In Dallas we were about 6 feet from the stage and seeing them sing and dance so close is absolutely surreal especially after watching so many videos.
Their actual stage presence you can almost actually feel, its wild!
And the amount of personal crowd interaction they did (all tour really) was really something special and cool. My wife made me shiny shoulder armor like their current outfits and Moa noticed and laughed smiled and waved.
They also complete hearts, blow kisses, play rock paper scissors, with direct audience members, so cool!
They are a marvel for sure. Their relentless energy (NOT slowed down even with them in their mid 20s now) is just so fun and the obvious hard work they put in is so inspiring!
You lucky SOB lol 🤣
I was on the rail in front of Momo/Moa in Denver. You see so many things in these small shows and the Japanese fans actually envy that we get to see them up close. They are all three constantly communicating with their eyes and with touch throughout the performance. Su smiles and makes faces a whole bunch more in these shows than she does in the big stage shows. She lets the persona drop more. And of course the band is right there.
They actually seem to have more stamina now than before.
Good all memories watching this funny FB reaction.
The song you were asking for is "Iine!" with the capital i, not Line just in case.
Make sure you don't miss the new amazing collab between F.Hero along with BabyMetal and Bodyslam called "Leave It All Behind" official MV. 🦊🤘🔥

Full Inception-style.
4:34 " I don't know who any of them are"...same.
I LOVE that you did this! Thank you! It's very old (2014) but as I mentioned they are very serious and humble and mature about it all!
Thanks for reacting to more Babymetal! Was lucky enough to see them perform in 2023. Live, Babymetal really are something very special! Their latest offering is a collaboration with F.Hero x Bodyslam called 'Leave It All Behind' and it would be cool to get your opinions on that! Thanks again Cheezy for your excellent vids. Keep rockin'🤟🏼🦊💯
I have this video on my BabyMetal playlist, it's always fun to watch. You've been spoiled a little bit by seeing part of Iine (iine) but I hope you do it soon. When I first saw it I was like, 'WTH is this?!?'. Now it's one of my favorite songs by them. I think it was the second or third video they released from their first album
Exellent!
Thank you for your reaction🦊❤️🔥
they don't travel with the elaborate stage sets - that really could be a bit much (seems the giant sets we see in the "Legend" concerts might be custom-built for the specific venue) - but they still go all-out on the performances.
Not sure if you were aware, when you talked about "such a complete change" at 2:40, that was actually all the same song, including the next part at 3:00. It's called iine.
Moa's stance at 5:08 is pretty amazing for a 15 year old girl.
SAY WHAT?! That's awesome
Online celebs? That means nothing really. Lol.
I haven't heard of any of them either and probably never will.
This is the YT channel where I first heard Babymetal. This is after their concert in LA in 2016, I think.
Is that a Honolua hat?! Great stuff BTW 😂
I picked it up in Kauai a few years ago. It shows all the islands lol
@@Cheezyxyz yeah I have a T-shirt I got from there. Same place. I think it was in the small shopping center on the ground level of the Marriot.
Fun reactions. You should check out their new song with Bodyslam and F hero 🔥🦊🤘
👍 👍
F. Hero, Bodyslam and Babymetal just released a collaboration "Leave It All Behind" and some are calling it the collaboration of the year.
Reactception?
.
Well, most of them were the members of Pentatonix. You must have come across them by now, surely?
.
It's not so much budget. It's the same reason Rammstein shows in the US aren't as big as Europe or Asia - the pyros are basically so big, they're illegal in the States.
We've not seen a reaction to this is in a while.
2:01 the famous head tilt of the girls really shows how automatic it is for them to perform these songs and dance to it. 🙂
4:42 well, famous then isn't really famous now and their are a lot of silos, you can be very famous in 1 section of youtube, but nobody cares about you in other parts of youtube, they wouldn't even know you.
I don't know why, but I feel their answers are always very grown up. They really do know a lot about the entertainment industry and obviously they are experts in their own thing.
7:55 what Babymetal does is they do not travel with a big stage set up, those are custom for each big show which only happens at most a few times per year in Japan.
They did do 2 bigger (not huge) shows outside of Japan: 2016 in the UK at Wembley Arena (that's not Wembley Stadium, the difference is 12 500 people to 80 000 I believe) and in 2019 at The Forum near LA, both were to promote the release of a new album.
9:07 and especially if English isn't your first language of course.
Love this!
React to their new 2023 interview in NYC!
They have done 2 Arena shows outside of Japan. Wembley Arena, London. 1st Japanese band to perform there. LA Forum in 2019, sold-out.
Metallica is their favorite, they had Babymetal as the opening band for them Korea. Also Metallica spend. time talking to them about being on the road touring.
👍 👍
At the 2:01 mark the girls all tilt their head at the same time. Adorable.

BABYMETAL are still going strong.
The Fine Bros destroyed their whole brand by trying to trademark the react channel concept.
