The V Angle on the drill depth/ Saw/ Router height setting gauge can be used to check the drill bit's cutting edges when sharpening it or needs to be corrected for drilling. Your review of these tool are great, much better than some others I have seen. keep it up.
Great reviews of the Banggood goodies. Must say their website is crap for searching for tools - so your reviews and links play an important role in helping their potential customers.😀👍
Great stuff, I ordered three of the items, the Tablesaw, Dado setting tool being something I was thinking of making, but at $24, not even worth the time! I bought the drill depth/ Saw/ Router height setting guage and the Magnetic Edge Rule. Brilliant!
I think what disappoints me about most of the Banggood stuff is that it's usually a rip off of someone else's design. Lots of stuff are clones of the Woodpecker one-time tools. The rebate gauge is a copy of the patented Bridge City KM1 kerf maker. Whilst I understand we all want cheap it does cost a lot of time and money R&D creating new products and the costs of running a US/UK business are far higher than simply copying someone's intellectual property, CNCing it in China, putting in an envelope, marking as a free gift or undervaluing the product and sticking in CN post which costs a fraction of Royal Mail. I know as craftsmen we value our work, and I also believe in valuing peoples intellectual property equally whether that's in engineering, music and movies, or software.
I hear you 100%. !! And love Woodpecker tools , also Bessey etc but In the UK we just get ripped off . So for me £20 for a square or marking tool works for me , I am just sharing what I use . I found if I don’t I just get lots of messages asking me “what’s that “ “ were did you get that”. Which is how the shoptalk Started :). Best
@@ManorWood Love your channel! Keep it up. Followed since the days of the MFT bench in the old workshop. New shop is looking really good and your putting out some unique ideas.
Found your video very interesting, I can see the potential for some of these tools in my workshop. Thanks for the time you have taken to explain the pros and cons of each tool. I was impressed with your bench layout using extrude section similar to the mft table. I have tried to locate a supplier of this section, but not found anybody as yet. Could you tell me your supplier please? As I use my mft a lot and would like to roll out a rail system in my new workshop that I am currently in the course of building
Cheers. I have all the info inc cut list, parts used and links to were to buy here - www.etsy.com/uk/ManorWood/listing/550680114/mega-mft-style-bench-full-sheet-of-84?Copy&ListingManager&Share&.lmsm&share_time=1589651459228
Yeah, it's amazing how much innovation, research, development, customer support and extensive faq's and instructional videos cost over simply ripping something off in a country with cheap labour 😉
I’d appreciate if you could check this mitre clamp. I bought a pair recently and I’m afraid it’s a piece of junk. It has no strength to keep boards together. There is a screw to tighten/loosen but even in the tighter position it doesn’t hold well enough. I like the red ones though:)
Cheers , Yes I am Video is almost edited and I am hoping to have some basic plans ready as the same time .. also still getting used to working with it :) stay tuned its coming
I have bought several 'tools' from Chinese companies. Although the price is attractive, in every case they have failed by a long way to live up to expectations, the delivery has been slow, the customer service has been virtually non existent and the cost of returning them prohibitive. I have learned my lesson and no longer purchase from China. Sorry for the poor comment. Impressed with your approach to bonding the resin top.
Thanks cool , I haven’t had one fail so far , but I am sure they are not as good quality as the top end stuff .. but as I am only really using the squares and layout tools etc I am ok with it . Just sharing what I thinks a good deal for the price anyway :). And cheers was tricky but works out well
Thanks for putting me on to BangGood, had not heard of them before. Two questions. 1. I had a quick look at what VAT and Duty is payable. Seems there is no duty under £135, but there is VAT on anything over £15, unless it is a "gift" when the VAT only kicks in over £39 (no idea how the tax man knows, surely everyone would say everything under £39 is a gift). I wondered what experience have you had with VAT and duty on the stuff you have received? 2. If I use the links above and then buy different stuff from BangGood do you still get something out of it (I have heard from others on UA-cam that is how it works)? Just that there are some other things I fancy that you have not reviewed but want to channel any payback to you where I can. Thanks again.
Thanks for the great videos. As it happens I ordered the dado gauge and drill bit gauge about ten days ago, (still to arrive), even though I did make the dado gauge myself.... couldn’t resist the bling. I don’t have a table saw, but it works just as well with a track saw and MFT. I don’t have that exact corner clamp, but do have the Kreg one, which looks almost identical. Found the thing to be way too fiddly, and didn’t trust it. Went on to buy this Can-Do Clamp www.amazon.com.au/dp/B000LJNJNU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dtb8DbDKJKKYZ which works beautifully - very heavy duty and far more robust than appears on photos. Went on to buy two more, making four total. Used them to make lattice frames recently. Thanks again.
Nice haul, mate, and put to good use. 👍🏽
Love these reviews. 👌🏽
Cheers for your honest opinion
I just want to know when your having a garage sale ! 😂 I am such a magpie I love gizmos and gadgets ! Thanks for sharing these videos .

Thank you for a very informative video. Can you tell me please With the x 130 speed square, what mechanical pencil lead size is needed.

The slot gauge thingy looks identical to the one Axminster sell for near 3x the price. Bit of an eye opener!
cool .. I haven't seen the one on Axminster do you have a link ?
valence25 interesting. The specs start by saying it’s a “unique tool” . 😄

Should do

The Kreg corner clamp copy is really iffy, to say the least... On Amazon, they sell those as Kreg tools.
What brand are the yellow magnets you using in the video? Do you use a magnetic feather board as well?

Have you used any of their f-clamps or other bar clamps? If so do you have any recommendations? Thanks
I haven’t used them maybe one day
